That's why ETH has to better manage his team. SAF used to play the small boys in some of these competitions so as to keep his key players fit for the main competitions he's after.

We don't have a large squad to play all competitions. With the kind of performance we put up against Barca, at the final against Newcastle, and the second half against West Ham, it's obvious some of those players will need to rest

You can't be playing some of these players week in week out, going for all trophies with this weak squad. Some players have been overplayed and it's telling

The major factor here was the energy and mentality. Lfc showed they wanted it more. Now ETH can talk to his boys so they don't get carried away.

Rashford has not really done anything in this match so he can't say he's tired. He could have close down that cross, but he was ball watching while lfc player sprinted to the ball like he's just entering the pitch
