Crystal Palace will most likely get a draw today and I expect Arsenal to continue their fine form against Leicester...On Thursday, we will take our place amongst the Saints...

Obviously he should, tho I see a tighter game than what we saw against b'mouth..Aston villa have become more defensively conscious of recent, maybe due to relegation battle..wouldn't be surprised if we draw 1st half, the boys should just remain calm..I see a 0-2 win
Fixed cheesy

Are you expecting the same starting lineup from Olé?
Ole won't change the line up when he's not mad na. They have had enough rest.

We will be cheering Crystal palace and Arsenal today. I'm very confident that they both can't afford to lose today's match. Finally we cement our top 4 position this week grin

Matić is the luckiest. 3 Matches and he shutdown all his Critics. Iced it with a 3 Years new Contract.
Matic doesn't have a real competition in that role he's currently occupying. He is the obvious choice to play there because he's the only choice. I wouldn't trust Fred or Tom to occupy that role alongside Pogba and Bruno in midfield

Real Madrid could let midfielder James Rodriguez leave the club this summer for a cut-price fee of £22m after he expressed desire for a new challenge, according to Marca.

Rodriguez reportedly came close to a £45m move to Atletico Madrid last season, before the deal fell through, and the 28-year-old has been linked with Man Utd, Arsenal, Wolves and Everton in the Premier League.

Ideal for backup or pass?!

Naso sha. I still think that City squad is weaker. Weaker than last year’s. And if Pep doesn’t reinforce the striker position he’ll find top four hard next season- that’s if he’s still at City.

True. They were playing to inflate their deflated egos. But what’s the point? They lost the league already. Woefully, I must say.
It's a psychological thing. Just like how wrestlers or boxers have a go at each other pre match.

Watch your back ko watch your back ni. After decimating Liverpool didn’t they get beat by So’ton?

If they play Liverpool again this season and beat them they still won’t be crowned champions. That’s why it’s called a league.
They weren't playing to win the league when they played against LFC

Had City beaten Chelsea, Liverpool would’ve won the league at the Etihad.
They decimated LFC. They could well be saying "watch your back"

There is no way Stanislas would have scored that goal if De gea covered his near post.......that's my point.

De Gea is a genius for being so highly rated without knowing the basics/fundamentals of goalkeeping

- Protect yourself while trying to catch a ball in the air

- Not staying flat footed while trying to save a PK ( did the same stuff yesterday)

- Free kick wall

- Organizing your defence

- don't concede at your near post

It's time to cash out
This one is loud cheesy cheesy

I really like the way Ole removed Greenwood early yesterday. He is doing all he can to nurture the guy carefully and protect him from the media and hype.
Imagine the pressure and distractions that would start with a Greenwood hat-trick. He should continue killing therm softly under the radar until next season when hopefully he would be more mature emotionally and psychologically to handle all the hype.
I'm not sure this is possible anymore. More attention will be paid to him, hopefully that free up spaces for Rashford to cause damage

Nope.....AWB and Shaw understand the type of attackers we have ( Rashford and Martial)

They are not in the best in the air, they prefer the low cross and I believe they all train together at Carrington to perfect the execution ( judging by the amount of goals scored/chance created recently from the low cross)

We don't have Zlatan, Chicharito or Lukaku as our 9..
You're right. It's the training

Karl-Heinz Rummenigge confirmed that Thiago Alcantara wants to leave and they don't want to lose him for free next year. I think we'd be looking at him as an option if he's injury free.
Thiago used to be a very fine player. Haven't seen much of him recently. If he's still as excellent as before, we should get him. Lingard, Perreira and Mata spaces are still there to be filled

Yes, he is definitely learning. His penchant to hug the touch line in the first half of the season meant we had one less body in and around the box and it didn't leave any space for Wan-Bissaka or Shaw to overlap (I really don't know if this is what hampered AWB attacking foray or if he has improved his attacking play now)...

As an aside, I expect Martial and Rashford to get a lot more space to do damage with Greenwood's form as they will be at least 2 players on Greenwood going forward...
I noticed that AWB will hardly play a high cross. Always want to get to the byline and put in a low cross. Same with Shaw. Maybe it's because they can't put in a threatening high cross (not sure about this), or cross from deep like their counterparts in LFC. Those ones can cross from anywhere. I believe with more deliberate work on their crossing and movements, they will get better. They also need a consistent player in front of them that they can understand and form bond with

I noticed that when James came on yesterday, he did not hug the touch line, baba was driving infield with the ball.
Yea I noticed that too. He was quite impressive with the ball. Didn't need lots of spaces to run. Is he learning a thing or two in training? I hope so

That “combative approach” wasn’t needed at that point he came in, or at least it wasn’t really effective. Guyman was leaving a good position to go mark an opponent who had defenders blocking him. Didn’t position himself well to receive the ball and steady the ship. Needs to read the game better, etc.

Make I stop. You guys love him on this thread and I no wan argue about him today.
It's not about like. It's about being unfair in your appraisal. How can someone that was available for every ball as you said and didn't lose possession, recovered possession etc play badly? When he came in, we had a lot of opportunities to add more goals. He was even in position to test opposition keeper. He had more than half the number of touches Matic had but he didn't position himself to receive the ball? How did the ball now get to him? He didn't lose the ball but he still didn't play well? Abi na that goal wey he no score?

It becomes a problem when you’re close to an opponent and the odds of being dispossessed is high. You don’t have to follow the ball around to recycle possession. Didn’t you see how Matic dictated play?
How many times was he dispossessed? How many wrong passes? How many times was he dribbled? How many wrong tackle? What else?

For a midfielder, in that match, at that moment in the game, Positioning. Spatial awareness. Off the ball movrment. If you get those right you won’t put out the wrong foot many times.

Fred was forcing the ball. Making himself available for almost every pass instead of allowing the ball to come to him. Didn’t read the game well.

I fit talk more But make we dead the matter. Let’s enjoy the win.
