Both defenders won headers. Maguire contested and won 3 headers,Lindelof contested 5 and won 4

Matic and Pogba combo will come up short against teams that are very energetic and not afraid to attack. The best they can do is to surrender the middle completely, be the 5th defenders and play for counters. This way we are most likely to get a win.

It’s surprising how long United have had defensive issues and tried to fix it but keep coming up short. Bailly, Lindelof, Maguire.. all gotten to fix that issue.

Luke Shaw has actually stepped up his game.. the problem now is we have to deal with Dalot at left-back for at least the next game.

Martial and Co need to more clinical, that’s the difference between great teams and good teams.. missed too many clear-cut chances yesterday.

The players were disorganized. I'm not sure what the instruction from the manager was

Matic was dribbled 4 times today. In all the onslaught Pogba didn't make any tackle or interception. Matic had just 2 interceptions. He was on the pitch for 90 minutes. Pogba played over 60 minutes and had the same number of interceptions and tackles with Fred. Pogba and Matic were both dispossessed more than any other Manchester United player but its Fred, Tom and James that invited the pressure?

This is our first real test since Covid19. I remember saying there will be teams that will punish out midfield. Today is the first time our midfielders were forced to play from the deep and chase for tackles. May be if we introduced a 3rd midfielder, it would have been better than substituting one.

Ole should have withdrawn Greenwood for Tom or Fred since around 60 minutes. We couldn't keep up in the midfield.

If we want to criticize players, it will go round. So no need calling out anyone. The team lack mental strength and fitness was poor today. That's what I think happened today.

Nah, not every team Will allow you dictate the game and not every Time you need to control the game. Sometimes, smash and grab they sweet pass especially in This scenario.

Southampton is a team that wint allow You Space and Time on the ball so It's wise to make us of every damn goal scoring chance.

Manchester United is a team that should control the game against a Southampton team. If Southampton is getting a point, it should be a smash and grab point, not what happened today at old Trafford. Go look at the stats. Maybe their fans will be saying they should have scored their own chances too

It's normal to lose chances, happens every time. But controlling the game and dictating play is king. More chances will come which will be converted

Nah it's not about the missed chances. We didn't play well at all and we were at old Trafford. This draw was what we deserved
