weedtaker: The only period we seem to play good football consistently he was the Star-man and most important player, he was our top scorer last season ffs!
If you think Pogba doesn't fit dis united team, then I'm sorry for you, cuz we don't even have a team to begin with.
The one wey the even burst my head na tielemans wey Afro man been the bench for Belgium, I'm yet to see how that guy has outperformed Scott McSauce dis season.
Was he also the star man in the team when the team was struggling to make sense especially in the midfield with him there? Or he suddenly dropped the star man and became star boy? Its worse when we look at how many games he was star man and the ones he disappeared
weedtaker: Tielemans was a big flop at Monaco why? Yea Pogba didn't solve our problems but Tielemans and Ndidi will lol, Pogba is better than two of them put together. Imagine thinking any of Tielemans or ndidi will see starting shirt in France Midfield.
That a player is good does not mean he will be fit for your team. We've seen this many times in football
digz: I hope you can see the boys problem now? If you ask eph12 na I sure say na swuor dance him go dey dance for 2019 as him brother dey dance galala....
Bush boys!
na that kind dance fit this your fireboy nonsense song na
afrodoc2: Be more critical of that light weight expensive fake Brazilian Fred. Even he has improved marginally but is not doing what we expected him to be doing.
Maybe he lacks agro too.
Na you people mention Tom na, i didn't single him out
afrodoc2: If you ever watched McTom as a youth player in detail you won’t be saying this. He is improving in his own lane. Imposing himself physically, developing the vision and skill to switch play from wing to wing(not thread Fabregas through passes), making lung bursting runs into space when the opportunity arises.
It’s just like those of you that are blaming the team’s set up for AWB’s cluelessness going forward and expect that one day he will become the 2nd coming of Dani Alves.
afrodoc2: Oh okay. So you no longer want just improvement but special improvement and the jump in improvement has to be in less than 12 months. Kontinu.
afrodoc2: We are not asking if he has world class passing ability. The question is compared to previous seasons is his passing the same or has it improved? Or sorry you already said he has improved but it was due to his desire to improve. Lol
That improvement is nothing special to me for a midfielder. Dazzal
I want my midfielders to be able to open up for passes, hold on to the ball under pressure, have eye for through pass, good off the ball movement, split defense etc. Not just trying to be everywhere and nowhere while the attack and defense suffer
afrodoc2: You have not seen improvement in McTominay’s passing and decision making this season?
Passing and decision making? Haba na. Maybe not the level I'm looking for. All I know is that he tries to be everywhere, goes for goal occasionally, but that decision making, eye for through pass, splitting defense pass etc, maybe you have, but I never see o. Well my standards maybe too high for midfielders and I am always particular about that part of a team
afrodoc2: If they sack Ole tomorrow e no go move me because i left him to his own fate when he started the season with that depleted squad, however some of you guys want to blame him for everything including Mompha’s tribulations.
Which player will improve and in what way will said player improve for you to attribute it to Ole, and not to desire, agro, lust or any other eroto-sexual concept.
When I see changes in that player movement on and off the ball, decision making, etc. That is something that the player was not known for ever before. Not like he lost form or trying to adjust to a new team and players. For example Sterling wasn't prolific before, you get the gist
He has been putting in the work long before Ole came, that's why I said that. We can as well say Mourinho worked on him and gave him the platform. At a time he was starting consistently for Mourinho
afrodoc2: So if a player is playing poorly or declining it is Ole’s fault but if a player is improving it is because of desire and has nothing to do with Ole.
Fred is just trying to show a bit of what he was bought for. This is something he has shown multiple times, even in the champions league
ChristineC: remember the irresponsible Fred? he's reached manageable levels at least. Rashford can also argue his output has improved. McTominay, Greenwood and William are improving rapidly. Dalot, Pogba and Martial have been mostly sidelined, no verdict yet. Shaw and Bailly are hardly fit, no surprises there. Young, Matic and Mata are on the decline, no miracles can work there. ..and well, Lingard and Jones is Lingard and Jones.
Lindelof is the exception in my opinion.
Rashford has always been like this na. Still that frustrating player.
I'll need to see enough of Greenwood and William in the first team to give a verdict on them.
Maybe Tom but I can attribute his recent performance to desire and not something technical or tactical
paafin: It's largely the players fault. We have a good number of grossly average players in the team that can't adhere to simple instructions or lose concentration easily.
OGS hasn't improved any single player so far. Not a single one
