One thing I will always respect Lukaku for is his professionalism. If you are waiting for him to go to the media and talk bla bla bla, you will sleep there.

It’s open secret that Ole doesn’t fancy Lukaku, to be fair to Ole, every manager has the kind of striker they want but trying to rely on a striker that hasn’t hit 15 goals a season over a 20 goals striker is writing letter to ruins.

One of our major problems last season was lack of goals, unless we get in another striker (not looking likely with Ed) then letting Lukaku go is a very stupid decision. Rashford cannot lead us anywhere.

Don't forget so soon that Lukaku had a lot of dry spell last season. He was insulted and dragged a lot by United fans. Only some of us insisted that the problem wasn't the striker but the lack of creativity and laziness in the team generally. While we have improved, I don't think we are ready yet. Whether Lukaku or no Lukaku, as long as we still have Lingard, Matic, a sulking Martial and Mata starting for us, we are on a long thing. Hopefully Martial is back and those other ones are glued to the bench. Until then we can talk about the striker

I'm not seeing any behavior here. There's no credible report that OGS is trying to freeze Lukaku out, neither is he going to stop him from leaving.

At some point Pep was trying to freeze Aguero out for Jesus and it wasn't a secret.

My only issue with OGS during this TW is the way Lukaku is being treated. I don’t blame Lukaku, I will be actively looking for a new team if I was in his shoes also.

They say Lukaku can’t play the fluid attacking set up and I wonder if they watch Lukaku in Belgium. Imagine the coach telling you you will be back up to someone you are clearly better than. Anyways season will start in the next 7 days.

This is something OGS has looked to change, as he is actively looking for shooters, not just pass masters. Hence the talk of Savic and Fernandes, even Fred now takes more shots from outside the box, McTominay too.... Pogba na normal levels.

With a possible Dybala in the fray, expect crazy curling shots from the right wing, as well as Rashford and Martial.

Not just taking shots outside the box jare. They should enter the box and create options for crosses or passes inside the box. There is improvement though
