ORIJIN201: Mike Oliver doing what he does best, and he reminds me of the Madrid Vs Juve. Shit refrees. Little wonder they weren't at the world cup and they have continued their nonsense this season. I'm not even angry about we losing because we never stood a chance. But the referee influencing a game for a already better side is nauseating to say the least. That was a clear penalty abeg |

raumdeuter: Is there a reason why Mou was sacked and Pep not? Maybe I know, maybe I don't but the fact is they both spent 2+ seasons in England at same time and won same number of trophies. One of the trophies Mourinho won was even in a competition recognized as almost if not good as the Champions League. In fact that year, Mourinho's team was the second best in Europe, losing to the eventual best team RM. Then he won the English super cup which determines the best team in England. With these facts, while won the best team in England once, Mourinho did so too and also ended up second best in Europe. |

We learn everyday. Winning the Champions League means nothing anymore. You still have to win the winner from yorupa to be the best team in Europe. I wonder why FIFA doesn't recognize the winner of that friendly. Anyways, since the winner of the super league determines the best team in Europe, what can we say about our very own community shield? |

diadem10: Yup. Ole already called both up. That was why I didn't mention them.
I'm aware of one traore and Laird who recently moved to the reserve team but I don't know much about them nor do I care right now. Others are just bang average. Barlow is a lil decent though.
On a different note, I would love us to sign Axel zagodou, Dortmund's top CB prospect who's adept in the Lcb role. If not for the signing of Diallo, he would be the undisputed starter beside Akanji. I rate him a lot better than Diallo though cos he's as calm on the ball but better in the air. He's often deployed as a left back to accomodate him but his best performance has always been in the Cb role.
I would still love us to sign Van de beek for the CDM role 'cos Garner is still too young and he had a forgettable performance the last time he played for the first team in a preseason match. I would also love us to trigger Depay's buyback clause however we would need to offload Lukaku and maybe Sanchez.
Ndidi is also a good shout. As a midfield enforcer, he would give us the needed steel 'cos Fred no be it at all. Leicester would likely fleece us. If not Ndidi, then Mdombele of Lyon.
Degea;
O'conor - Lind - Zagod - Shaw;
Ndidi - De beek - Pogba;
Mason/Rash - Depay - Martial.
Although I would love to see Rashford continue his growth as a Central striker. Who are all these players? |
