Putting you in your place won't waste my time, but trying to explain my comment to you when it's obvious your brain can't process it, is a real time waster.

Now, do you understand why I said no time? smiley #Ciao

Well, your kinsmen think otherwise. They already chest-beating, taking shots at folks who have same thing or even better in their backyard. undecided

These guys are doing this sort of large scale project despite the challenging environment, they definitely deserve to be proud of what they've achieved. If you choose to call that chest beating, you're more than free to do so. Everyone is free to showcase what they have in "their backyard". Eod.

Loool. I tell you. Bill go go up but still no light.
The operating environment in Nigeria is tough, really tough. I can imagine what these people spend on electricity.

Madam amara, long time. How your family?

Kudos to Aba peeps for their ingenuity in local production.

However we have several of this kind of project in other parts of the country - Kano, FCT, Lagos, Rivers, Ogun, etc.

Yes we do, and they are also free to showcase their work. Nothing is stopping them from doing so.

he is traveling by plane which is not exactly rigorous.
I'd give anything to travel from Lagos to Onitsha and come back the same day via ITC

Another one on the loose. Sigh.
Who gives a hoot where you would give anywhere to travel to? If you like trek from kaduna to Onitsha. Your headache.

He's leaving this morning, back same day. Leadership is not beans, which is why you need strong resilient people who can withstand the rigors of the office.

Nice thread, even though it's 3 good years old!

DIY is not encouraged as it should be in Nigeria, partly due to 'big-man' mentality. People should be able to paint the inside of their houses for instance.

Politics / Re: Northern Elders Cry To Buhari. Want Biafra Crushed by eph123(f): 7:20pm On May 26, 2017

How much do they contribute that they want upward review. They can meet local miners for upward review. The North is just a burden on the South. Even while they occupy all the juicy positions, they still complain. This is 21st century, if the army falls into the booby trap of Ipob, then it is over for this nation. The South will not watch this time around. Rwanda will be like joke.

NORTHERN elders have asked President Muhammadu Buhari to upwardly review capital allocations to the North in the 2016 budget, claiming that the region was shortchanged.

I really wonder.

Shortchanged in what way?

What proportion of the pot do they contribute?

Nigeria is in a recession and all these ones can think about is upward review while sitting on their butts doing nothing. Just imagine the nerve. This Nonsense needs to stop .
