why not simply take a knife to his neck and slit it....since you want him dead so bad. If you can't at least be relieved that a human being is pulling through an illness....then I wonder what you are..I wonder if its the same blood flowing through our veins....whatevert happened to empathy.

Whatever happened to empathy for those killed by the Fulani herdsmen, Mr Empathy? Or their lives are of less value? They are also humans with blood flowing through their veins.

Nigerians will surely think twice before electing people whose supporters consider going to the mosque as an achievement worthy of celebration.

I can just imagine Theresa May or Merkel being celebrated for showing up at church once a week.

Nation of mediocres.

From time immemorial, there has been this conception that Buhari is incorruptible and the only person on earth who can free Nigeria from the shackles of corruption. Unfortunately, various instances disprove this;

1- Nepotism and Cronyism - Appointing a large number of people because they are from the north is one of the worst forms of corruption. He is not just cheating other regions, but also crippling the system. A crippled system will inexorably lead to collapse, suffering and economic retardation. The north might benefit but Nigeria will suffer!

2- Association with the corrupt cabal- Guilt by association is nonetheless guilt itself. Babachir Lawal et. al. are shining examples. No need to write more before EFCC 'discovers' millions in my one bedroom house.

3. Selective Anti-corruption campaign- While many Nigerians are happy that corrupt pdp members are being prosecuted and hunted, we want it extended to APC members. This is the truest meaning of being incorruptible and Buhari has failed in this regard.

Concise summary.

Exactly. People don't know their rights at all in this country.

In the western countries, people sue hospitals, police and any institution which fails to live up to its lawful duties.

Just take a look at the kind of mentality being displayed by some comments here. Smh

Nysc must be used as a scape goat to serve as a deterrent, and learn to value lives in their care better next time.
Compensation is only just scratching the surface.

No wonder the govt does what it likes because it knows people don't know THEIR RIGHTS.

please note compensation is not the term in this case as I'm sure none of those living in those horrible slums ever acquired a square inch of land. However I'm totally for rehabilitation of these people. Having slums is not healthy for the community in the slum, the general public and our image. That's why most Europeans or Americans thinks Africa is all about mosquitoes, malnutrition and cholera

We are saying the same thing. No one is supporting leaving the slums as they are, but people should be treated right. They are human beings like you and I.

- They are not "impoverished people"..
- They eat, sleep and look healthier than many middleclass people..
- Poverty is a mentality issue... not how rich or financially buoyant a person is... poverty is a classification based on stereotype..
- Someone that can afford to eat whether paid food or homegrown food is not poor or impoverished...

That is not the point either. Rich or poor, they should be compensated to find alternative accommodation. Eod.

- those are illegal settlements that should have been removed since tinubu's admin..
- If you own a house you don't live in and one day you visit it and find people living there... would you evict them with compensation

I'm sure you saw a child in that first picture, can't believe people can be this callous.
That they are illegal settlements does not mean they should not be compensated. The govt should take responsibility for not performing their oversight function in permitting illegal structures in the first place rather than trying to push out already impoverished people to live where exactly

The agricultural sector is open to anyone and everyone!

Employ yourself!!!

Yes, every single graduate should enter Agriculture..like that is the only sector required to run a successful economy.

Other countries are moving forward beyond this standstill we're at. Startups and other informal sectors picking up, we are here recommending agriculture for all and sundry.
