Nigeria's slide into recession started whilst the old government was in power and has not been controlled because our main source of revenue has continued to be squeezed without any hope in sight.

My support of a leadership that has shown the willingness to x-ray our corrupt practices would never abate until it can be proven that such brigandage is encouraged even now.

Nigeria is a peculiar nation and to think it would change overnight is sheer naivety. Yet, one must do his best.

Learn to distinguish between a patriot and an opportunist.

I don't take sides, I have once supported both Jonathan and Buhari, but I definitely refuse to continue blindly supporting when I see a government is not doing what it should.

With all the corrupt practices being "x-rayed", how many convictions have been secured? Zilch. Rather the government is bringing more division with biased appointments and on top of it has completely lost control of the economy.

Of course, you are free to continue the support, but no one should complain when the consequences start staring us in the face. Nuff said.

Uncle Obasanjo and Yaradua, Nigerians irrespective of Ethnic and Religious differences never saw themselves as core enemies.

But when Jonathan permitted Asari Dokubo, Tompolo, Edwin Clark and others to keep shouting "our son" the hatred grew bigger and wider.

Imagine all the years cassava starch, charcoal, cocoa exporter have been exchanging their dollar at a low rate just because govt was busy heavily subsidizing it for importers and their customers in their bid to impress Nigerians. We spent $217bn on dollar subsidy in 12yrs. It is a simply a case of those who where losing out starting to gain more for their effort.

So it's no longer oil subsidy, it is now dollar subsidy?

Besides, point of correction government was never subsidizing for importers. The effect being felt now is simply because rates have spiraled out of control.
