Billyonaire: This is my hobby, and I do this because I know I am right 100% of the time. The OP is careless, and there is a price to pay for carelessness. The accused story checks out, he could be lying but in court, he will win hands down provided he has the evidences. My angle to life practical, not religious, not sentimental and certainly not conscience-based. Successful people are not stupid, are not careless and do not make silly mistakes. That is why the top is not crowded. Many of you are where you are on the wealth calibrated cos you bath in beliefs and eat conscience as food. Do I care what you think of me ? Absolutely not. Tomorrow I keep winning. That says it all. I definitely will not waste my time arguing with anyone that says the above. |

Maximus85: Bro, you threatened him before he blocked you in the first place. You might be putting pressure on him. He might be frustrated and blocking you could be the only thing he could do. I'm not supporting him for blocking you but he may have no option.
I will still maintain that I don't see that guy as a criminal.
See, there's this country, I can't remember the name. If you put your materials were it could be stolen, there's nothing you can do. You have no support of the law. But if you protect your stuff and it stolen, maybe the person broke into your house or robbed you with a weapon, it's death penalty.
But for crying out loud, you mistakenly sent the money to him. What if you sent it to a man's account whose wife just delivered and he has no kobo to pay the hospital bill? The man will spend your money and the worst is the court will ask him when he can pay back. Hehehehe, put pressure on him? Chai!! It's only in Nigeria that a THIEF becomes the victim. Upside down reasoning. Not only Pressure, it's Volume. |

ojmaroni247: The day u will be accused of a crime Dat day u will it's only u and God Dat knws de truth. That's y it's called mare accusation. I can remember wen we had a minister of Power by name bath naji we had almost 16hrs of Power for de first time in Nigeria history but becuz he was accused selling PHCN to his company which was been built years before his appointment, the man Resigned. See us now we can even boast of 5hrs light a day from Mr rocket sience Please don't bring all that sentiment to my side. So it is now it is a case of false accusation, why then did she step down? Continue defending the crooks in the country, that is why it will keep retrogressing. It's only in Nigeria that if you work small then it is okay to do wrong, it is justifiable. If Bart Nnaji truly sold PHCN to his company, does his providing 16 or even 24 hours of light justify it and make it right? We sooooo much have a long way to go in this country. Sigh. |

AlanP, Nonso or Jeffery - which ever one you are, hope you know that these days recruiters do google the names of potential candidates. To imagine that when yours is searched, this is what will come up.
You have just sold your "birthright" for a plate of porridge. After spending 5 years studying engineering and spending 1 year on NYSC, this is how you have rubbished your name. |

bigtt76: OP to be blamed
1. He should have crossed checked to see that the Account Number and Account Name matched that of the person he was to send money to. If he has Internet Banking or any of the Bank's mobile Apps that supports online money transfer, he could easily have done that.
2. He should have complained officially to the bank. The banks have now been cautioned by the CBN into taking actions against fraudulent transactions. All the bank need to do is place a 'No Debit' message on the person's account across all the banks using his BVN. That way, he would have been forced to return your full money.
Did you read that he called the bank immediately it happened but was unable to get through / kept waiting for 3 hours by which time the thief had withdrawn the money? |

That there are dishonest people coupled with the present state of the economy where people do unlawful things because of money Go on with your delusions on the perfect world we live dunderhead. Of course the world isn't full of honest people when we have people like you here. That the world isn't full of honest people is NO EXCUSE to justify stealing which is basically what you did. Eddodoh: A week ago, I met this lady and I expressed my love to her. Last Friday evening we talked on the phone and agreed that I would visit her on Saturday as she was going to be free from work.
On Saturday morning, I saw two missed calls from a strange number and I decided to call back, I learnt she's the one and I told her that I would be visiting as earlier scheduled. I visited but while chatting she told me that her phone fell down after we finished talking the day before and the screen got affected and no longer show callers identity. I advised her to take it for check up and probably repair.
The previous day being Sunday, we were together and somehow she brought the issue of the phone. So she is even working... What does she use her salary for then? These are the kinds of girls spooling the rep of Nigerian girls. Corporate beggar without self-respect. Very annoying. |

Nigerians - very religious and that is where it ends. No impact of that on day-to-day living. |
