Yet Nigerians are sooo religious, but we do not fear God in our actions at all. I can imagine what this girl has faced, only because she wanted a better life for herself.
Luukasz: You may go far in some aspect but u cant go as far as muhammed alli, malcom x, steve jobs et al who didn't even finish school not to talk of havn a good grade. We've laid to much emphasis on academics, certificate and good grades in NG and stil it aint gettin us anywhere. I wont stop sayn it academics has in no way added to the growth and development of Nigeria but instead it has givn birth to sets of people with no creativity nor innovation at all. Our Judiciary system is zero yet we av law as a course in our uni's,political system zero yet there's pol science also i can go on and on but i dont av time for being a nonentity to the society.
For each Steve jobs, Malcolm x etc, do you know how many people are languishing in a sub-par life because they have no education. It's easy to point at those that managed to make it, but they are not the norm, they are the exceptions otherwise the US would have banned high / grad school education.
The fact that you have a good grade does not imply zero creativity or innovation. Our educational system is far from perfect but those who excel in life will excel.
1) Oga may be naturally romantic and is crazy in love with his wife
2) Oga might be an accountant and has studied the yearly "hair expenditure" and decided to plug the 'leak'(especially in this recession)
3) Madam fit dey give oga some kain "Shaolin" styles like "crouching tiger holding protector", "Enter the dragon", "Snake in the kitchen sink", "Legend of the flexible ninja" and my personal favorite "no retreat no surrender" way don confuse oga phyical and spiritually to the point way oga be like LG tv way madam dey use "smart remote" control........
Why do you refer to a thread that is LOCKED because it was a dubious propaganda. Below is the real video that was used to deceive people on your useless thread.
Cmanforall: It should have passed through screening(maybe NAFDAC) before being sold in Nigerian market. But I assure you that those products will pass the quality control (as they sell their products globally)... The challenge will be if it comes out cheaper than the garri in our daily markets. Therefore government and farmers need to come up with measures to reduce the price of garri, otherwise more people will patronize TRS
duni04: Price of oil up, production up, now we're having surpluses every month from oil savings because our the budget Is pegged at under USD50/barrel while oil price is more than USD50/barrel. Plenty of construction, FDI and FPI to look forward to. Now we just need to fine tune our forex policy to accommodate all the foreign investors that will be lining up to get a share of the dollar windfall that's coming.
fine tune or overhaul? At N520 to a $, you need more than a fine tune to get out of the woods.
EazyMoh: My sister no amount of DSS harassment can subdue a well organized opposition. DSS even once claimed APC hacked into INEC database (something that is offline) arrested it's officials but at the end it only made APC more popular.
EazyMoh: Thank for seeing that statement. Am not saying the president has done the right thing to deserve a second term, no! What am saying is in reality three isn't a foreseeable obstacle as of now especially lack of anrganized opposition figure that would appear to be better choice.
Okay, I think I see your point. There is no significant opposition in place at the moment, although then again DSS would probably be set up to arrest them if they surfaced now.
EazyMoh: Read the intro, All these only have a chance if PMB decides not to contest.
I am amazed you actually share this viewpoint: "Until PMB's recent medical trip I was convinced there was no major obstacle for a PMB's second term"
Someone who was performing woefully on all key indices, yet those factors did not seem enough to constitute a major obstacle. So what do you count as a major obstacle in that case?
By the way, PMB would be almost 80 then, why on earth will people re-vote an 80 year old??
No individual should hold the country to ransom, we need to move forward abeg. Buhari should go and take care of his health as it is clear to all and sundry that he is no longer capable.
EazyMoh: Mind you this is not a list of those I deem most fit for the job,it is the list those with the potential to achieve it (the seat not the job). Kachikwu isn't even a politician to start with. you don't expect people like Ameachi to take a back seat when they were all the party depended on in the region to make it were it is today.
This is exactly why Nigeria can never move forward. With this kind of mindset, gonna be a long ride.
zabuur: Buhari is even strong. Any sane person who has the interest on Nigeria at heart can't rule this country and after getting revelations of these loots, will break down. Seriously, what has gone wrong is enough for any well meaning leader to collapse. With all those saying he should die, after his death, what next for you? You will automatically start changing a dollar for a naira or the roads will just miraculously get tarred. Or is it boko haram that will just vanish. Just tell us, how does his death get you your dream job if you don't deserve it
Continue excusing mediocrity Why do we have EFCC / DSS if people who looted can't be arrested.
Buhari was never up to the task, eod. He knew how to travel from country to country aimlessly but couldn't add any positive thing to his own country. Why is he in a foreign hospital when Nigerians have to make do with unequipped local hospitals. Why?
sosy25: Part of this scarce foreign exchange has been used by several politicians to visit Buhari in the United Kingdom.
Part of this scarce foreign exchange has been used to pay British doctors for the past one month by Buhari.
Part of this scarce foreign exchange has been used to cover Buhari's expenses in the United Kingdom for the past one month.
Now he is staying longer in the United Kingdom more of our scarce foreign exchange would be used to cover his expenses. And more foreign exchange would be used by politicians and government officials to visit him in the United Kingdom.
With all these, foreign exchange would always be scarce. We who are not in government and are not thieves have to earn our own foreign exchange and stop depending on the CBN or BDC's. If you want to earn your own foreign exchange check my signature.
Billyonaire: Tinubu is the next political maradonna. For inside their mind, they wish the President should .......but outwardly, "Get Well, our President".
I wonder how Tinubu knew he would eventually fall sick to this point?.... Afterall Mugabe is 93 and still going on strong. I hope there isn't more to this than what we know, e.g. he being poisoned.
Sanchez01: And how do you ascertain/tell if a man has something to offer or otherwise? How you see him does not really matter to the populace. He's honestly more sensible than PMB. I see no reason why he should not be given a chance.
I just pray this saga does not get to the level that of of UMYA got to before they own up.
Why is PMB holding on to power by all means possible? The old man should call it a day abeg, go and face his family, and let the country move forward. Afterall, what exactly has he done for the country?
When he was flying from country to country non-stop instead of delegating, he didn't realize all the jet lag will ultimately impact his health?
SalamRushdie: Believe me it officially cost like 750k to register each product but by the time Nafdac red tape and greasing is done you would have spent up to 3m .. I doubt if the will have it today because I hear the Indian shop at Ikoyi was raided .. well the recipe for the tea is one teaspoon of turmeric, half teaspoon of black pepper , half teaspoon of cumin in a glass of warm water then add some honey for taste ..I drink it first thing in the morning and last thing at night .
That's a lot of money, 750k for what? These are the things that annoy me about Nigeria, what exactly is involved in analysing and checking a product for it to cost that much.
Thanks for sharing, will definitely try it out. Indian spices have a lot of benefit. I use their cinnamon and ground spices from time to time when cooking.
Are there other Indian shops around besides the Ikoyi one? They should have it as well.
SalamRushdie: They bring them in in really little quantities and I am afraid because of the tiny quantities they would rather stop bringing them than spending 3 million naira trying to register each product .
Okay I use cummin, turmeric and their black pepper to make a some tea that makes sure I never add an ounce no matter how much I eat and it works great ..you need need to see my vitals
It shouldn't cost that much to register products... I know it may be small quantities, but they do need to be checked for everyone's safety including yours.
Oh wow, that's interesting, you should share the recipe! The other thing you could do is buy in bulk pending when this whole issue is resolved.
