I have no problems with tongues but I get inflamed when Christians treat it as alpha and omega of prayers. I get nauseated when an average Christian confuse the gift of tongues with the "praying in tongues".

I don't know any christian that casts out demons with tongues.

The word of God (both the Logos and the Rhrema) inspires faith.

Once a Christian understands the difference between the gift of tongues and tongues as a prayer language, his effectiveness in spiritual warfare drastically improves. I sincerely think that tongues is overrated.

You might not like it but praying on the Spirit(in tongues) is part of our armour.

How can you fight without the complete armour?
You can know all the Word on authority without exexperiencing it. Praying in tongues actually builds you up on that word of faith that you received so it becomes active in you. (Read: Jude 20).

Are you born again?
Do you pray in tongues?

If your Answer to any of the above is NO.
The solution to your problem is still afar off.

David was anointed from his youth alright, but he wasn't always a man of God. You can see from his writings...psalms. He became a man of God later on in his life.

In Florida , an atheist created a case against Easter and Passover Holy days. He hired an attorney to bring a discrimination case against Christians and Jews and observances of their holy days. The argument was that it was unfair that atheists had no such recognized days.

The case was brought before a judge. After listening to the passionate presentation by the lawyer, the judge banged his gavel declaring,

The church is suppose to be the salt of the earth but is not leading the change in Nigeria but compounding the problem. Big churches that don't offer space for the homeless to sleep at night. Schools that the lower class can't afford. The missionaries of old were the real deal.

What if they build homes for the homeless instead of opening their gates at night to theive, robbers and terrorists.

The 2nd edition of the Calabar Bikers Parade did not hold as planned following a failure in the engine of Cross River Governor, Senator Ben Ayade’s bike with former Governor Donald Duke stealing the show with a Batman styled bike.

The Bikers parade powered by the Metallic bikers club was scheduled for 2:00PM but due to the inability of the Cultural parade to kick off by 8:00 AM as planned but by 2:30PM, the bikers parade began at about 5:00 PM.

Cyclists also participated in the event which saw them go round the 12 kilometers Carnival route with spectators cheering.

Sources say Ayade had mounted his red 2014 model Taurus-Trike motorcycle with his wife only for it to seize due to engine failure forcing him to park it and bringing to an abrupt end, the 2nd edition of the Bikers Carnival which began last year.
