My call up number starts with NYSC/LAG..... what does that mean? My state of residence or that I'll be posted to Lagos?

Secondly, I really, really want Lagos. Ogun is a close second. Who can help out? Sure stuff only oh. And only using an escrow incase it does not work out.

It means you went to UNILAG, and ceteris paribus, you cannot get posted to Lagos.
I don't know if this delivery in escrow thingy is acceptable by the guys that work posting because they would definitely want their money before you see your posting.

I was complaining to one of my friend that is from Kebbi State, but schooled in Sokoto that I was not given Lagos and Abuja in any of my choices, so he told it's very heard for me to see those States, it's just luck, even though I was given some North Central states to choose, nothing like abj showed up. No qualms Sha. I love Kaduna and also love Delta State, I wan to hear correct pidgin and also see Dem big big girls lol

Yeh, and also, if u see that it means u are from the same catchment area or very close,, if you school in Ilorin and illorin is ur state of origin then u can't get/see Ilorin as ur 1,2,3 or 4th choice.

Yea. I am from delta state and schooled in Edo state. I didn't see any of the South south states in my options.

Akwa ibom

I think the states available to each choice is based on an Algorithm which is programmed into the system. my choices are almost same with yours: Abuja, Lagos, Kano, Anambra

All the current senators should be denied the chance to return to the National Assembly. We need to import foreigners to preside over our Government from England. At least they won't be so corrupt.

As in eh...it is as if there is no giver or in the state. Okowa is busyworking in Agbor where he hails from. Warri and it’s environs is not part of Delta state...just neglected and left untouched since his inception.

Trust me, Okowa is not working in Agbor or any other part of Delta North where he hails from.

This Emeka Ugwuonye keeps surrounding himself with scandals. His actions are no doubt in breach of the prpfessional ethics of the Legal profession and a sweious breach of the duty of confidentiality owed by lawyers to their clients. It is only a matter if time before the LPDC re-open another case against him.

This indigenous writer from Northern shores of Delta State is forced to take umbrage at the lackadaisically insouciant manner in which the state is governed by its leaders.


This writer particularly takes umbrage at the knowledge that the current Governor of Delta State, His Excellency, Senator Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa seems to be the only indigene of the state who is ignorant to the fact that he is actually the governor of the state. Or perhaps his Commissioners and Special Advisers are equally ignorant!


Ever since the inception of the Okowa Administration on 29th May 2015, governance via the Delta State Executive has taken a toll for the worse. No visible signs of governmental concern exist in the various nooks and crannies of Delta State. However, macroscopic signs of indecorous governmental neglect ooze from every nook, cranny, and corner of the state.

This epistle is not aimed at needlessly stultifying the Delta State Government as a bunch of yet unenterprising civil servants. It must be acquiesced on behalf of the Delta State Government that a number of high-powered projects have been accomplished by the current administration. These include and are not limited to: destroying the tarred pavement on major roads in Asaba to plant flowers of little aesthetical value, shutting down traffic along a major road to renovate just 100 metres of a stretch of the road, conducting carnivals and parades on potholed roads whilst state workers remain unpaid, and paying unsolicited visits to palaces of traditional rulers for festivities and churches statewide to hold thanksgiving services. Suffice to say, the only time Senator Okowa indeed is seen on the news is when he is sighted reveling at such places.

This is indeed a clarion call to all Delta State indigenes and residents to arise from their prejudiced slumber and take the bulls by the initiative by holding their leaders accountable for every action and inaction taken while in office. Our neighboring states are developing constructively whilst Delta State looks on cataclysmically. It is just only a year ago that the Godwin Obaseki assumed office as the Governor of Edo State, yet his impact is being felt all over the state.

What reasonable excuse can Okowa proffer for his ineptitude?
