This thread is not created to support the efficacy of Juju or demystify its potency, rather, it is to share an experience. Choose the side of the divide that suits you. On a certain morning, I was an enthusiastic sojourner in my neighbour's car on a very long journey, we were travelling to the east of Lagos state, our destination a town within southwestern Nigeria. We needed to confirm certain truths about an incident in the house we occupied, both of us rented two of the flats (we became acquainted in the house) in our compound of four flats and boys quarters A day prior to our travel, in what could be described as a story pulled out of Arthur Doyle's Sherlock Holmes series, the compound was in turmoil. The woman that sweeps our compound has just been paid her monthly salary, she took it from the designated 'chief tenant'. In her sobbing words, she kept it in her bag, dropped the bag near the borehole pump, when she came back from gossiping with the seamstress occupying one of the rooms in the boy's quarters, her duly earned money was nowhere to be found. It was a typical Saturday morning, everybody was at home, teenagers were playing while running errands, kids were being kids, just a typical noisy weekend. Accusing fingers were pointed, parents defended their children, buried hatchets were unearthed, people cursed and swore. The peace we once enjoyed vanish, the atmosphere became sore. |
Are the marks long and thick, like facial tribal marks on faces of 'lucky' Yoruba people? If yes, then your girl is definitely from Ondo City in Ondo State. Those particular marks belong to a group of family called 'Otunba/Jomu' who in ancient times were affiliated with the Osemawe of Ondo, his majesty the King. The marks are drawn on the right side of their descendants chest either male or female. In case the mark differs from what is described above, I have no knowledge on what it could be. |

Southerners are the most useless humans in Nigeria, listen to arguments against the collection of VAT by states they are spearheaded by this set of politically correct, pseudo intellectual fools. How many northerners came out to speak against the PIB when it clearly favors them? None. Our white collar fools down here blurt out rubbish only to the detriment of their region, they're only alive to the corruption of their fellow southerners, they shame their leaders while the North protect theirs own. Bunch of Bastards. |
Be obedient to spiritual warnings. You see those strange people that come across your way be it mad folks, white garment pastors, Alfas, in short those that come to give you any warning. Please I beg you in whatever you believe in, even if you're an atheist, please learn to listen and obey. |
I'm always amazed and at the same amused with the brazen hypocrisies of this so called 'northerners' No where in this sentimental write up did the CNG mentioned the murderous excitements, atrocities and tendencies of herdsmen all over the middle belt and southern region, which bears the coloring of ethnic cleansing and genocidal attacks. Lest I forget these Arewa groups I want to believe are not stupid enough to think the Yorubas or other ethnic group in the southern part of the country asides the Ibo would continue to uphold the geographical mishap Nigeria when the Ibo depart. |
Are the arguments based on the figures or symbols in the first picture? The symbol before the figures £N might mean Nigerian Pounds Why is no one talking about the facts presented in the second pic |
You should be ashamed of yourself for calling Ipob/ESN terrorists; for a group of people fighting to secure their lands and lives from the assault launched by raging Fulani herdsmen pampered by the Nigerian police and army. I sympathize with Ipob/ESN for standing and fighting against the useless security architecture that are willing tools wielded by the leprous hands of the uncivilized barbarians called Fulanis. Men like Ikonso died a greater man than the useless idiots called governors we have in the south whose major concern is the security of the lives and wealth of their loved ones. Years ago I used to banter IBO's due to their unguarded insults against Yorubas on nairaland but I'll support anything they'd do to repel the menace of so-called Fulani hegemony. A fight for survival is fight we must all join hands. May Ogun ambush all southern governors and leaders who over the years have watched uncircumcised animals bully them with threat of war. |

How do we end up having imbeciles in our midst? Jesu Kristi gbami! I skimmed through the pile of horseshit the half baked commentator scribbled, it was filled with lies, false conjectures, crippled assumptions and reasoning. May Ogun sever his barren hands from his shoulders. |
