Welcome all to the start of a new year, the past we would only reflect upon remembering our victories, achievements, wounds, woes & defeat.
I beg to differ but I tend to see this year nothing short of battles & wars. I forecast the very visions, missions, ambitions and march of many people who want this year to be better and attain their various ecstasies (some good & some bad) and in order to achieve this they must confront their very enemies, limitations, situations and tensions. This was what happened last year; man, woman and child bearing armours of wars, fighting various elements both seen and unseen
and what was the result... we heard various manipulative suicidal deaths, good and bad paths taken, flying spears that inflicted deep scars (physically & psychologically) & horrifying deaths, raging voices of torments, barricades that led to poverty, betrayal and anguish, shooting arrows of deceit, pain, clamour and penetrations that stripped naked their very souls and made many captives.
It is war I tell you, wars I see this year... don't fool yourself with celebrations & resolutions but hear the truth; for whatever is your goal this year expect the contrary, the burglary, the enemy and insanity
for there are people like us whose goal is anti to yours, there are weathers of circumstances that annually occur (positive/negative) and there are spiritual forces of old, from the day you were born, last year and this year waiting, lurking and anxious to destroy or enslave you. And Oh! there is the very internal battles in your kingdom like your flesh thats married to sin fighting, wooing and distracting you of your priorities.


Sad sad I say


So what is your mentality, we don't have everything in our control. do you see the battles ahead, are you planning, do you have the right arsenal, who are your allies & have you recognized the powers you need to confront every ambush, betrayal, lack and weakness, how many battles did win/lose last year, were you victorious, enslaved or defeated... whose flag are you waving for we all have masters (Christ, Satan, Allah, the world, Self,) and eventually various factions also war now and then across various plains (politicals, morality, business, class, education, etc)

To me 2019 is nothing short of wars, that will keep determining where are thoughts and loyalty lies, that will make us strong or make us weak.

it isn't a sin...betting is based in probability.. and we are engaged in a lot of things that uses probability as it one of its features... even the so called stock exchange market.
betting in another perspective is a game: and we all know what involving yourself in a game means.
it carries fun, promotes social ties with people and keeps u busy..not depressed.
betting has its flaws like...the system mostly favours the owners & agents, it can be addictive (I believe this is where its a sin #lust and there could be over reliance on it as a source of income for ones livelihood (here u can say its utter foolishness although there testimonies of it be favourable)
gambling is not a sin...another word 4 it is gaming

besides didn't our wonderful heavenly father in some way made a bet ..telling Satan how loyal job was to him...that was a bet # gamble why becos job could have disappointed God in the end and Satan's claim be right becos he has free will
do u think that Christ's temptation was ordinary... he too had free will and could have chosen to disobey God n did what Satan told him...
free will begat probability... so anything can happen
but God is above probability.. n he is in control

lucrative businesses or wanting to invest in the
next big tech or business idea out there.
We are well aware of the current state of our failing
economy which is coming hard on youths, well am
hoping that we all (investors & those with the
ideas) harness the opportunity to coming together
as a social group..a platform where we can
exchange money and ideas or better still partner
together to make whatever business ambitions we
may have a reality.

I am a realist when it comes to politics, it is not in my power alone to determine who rules the country for the next four years, that responsibility lies in the hands of over half of about 32million Nigerians, of this figure, less than 2 million know any other party apart from APC, PDP and APGA not to talk of knowing their Presidential candidate not hear his/her manifesto.

When Ezekwesili gathered the young ones, Sowore, Olawepo and co together to form a 3rd force to push out the old ones, what is the outcome of that gathering? Now each of them is running for office, if anyone doesn't see these guys as self-centred, then he is blind. They couldn't even agree amongst themselves.

The choice is yours, give your vote to whoever you desire, but I promise you, aside APC and PDP, all other parties combined won't get above 10% of the total votes, while the 2 parties share the remaining 90%.

I sir am a socialist.. even with your facts which I somewhat agree, my perspective is that the two popular parties in question can't deliver 70% welfare and development of the country and that social disasters are bound to supersede whatever achievements in their administration as we have seen & experienced repeatedly

For example, reaching out to Nigerians on Twitter shows the information is limited to just about 10% of the electorates. The market women, villagers who troop enmass to vote won't hear your message.

To win election in Nigeria, you need to mobilise from grassroots, that's why I consider the Dukes, Sowores, Olawepo, Ezekwesilis and co, jokers and spoilers, they should have joined these two parties, and contested in legislative roles, get to the houses and start their reforms there.

Just imagine that Sowores wins now and we still have the present senate and house of reps, tell me, what can he do?
Politics is a game of compromise, win some, lose some. You need a great structure to win Presidential election.
