Religion / How Did You Become A Christian? by eresource(m): 8:06pm On Dec 13, 2010
Most of us say we are Christians but do we know how we came to be a Christian?
If you meet a stranger and he asks you how to become a Christian what would you say?

This post is to educate ourselves("Christians"wink so please share with us your experience on how you became a Christian.
Politics / Re: Ghana: A Contrary View by eresource(m): 8:24pm On Nov 19, 2010
You all should be ashamed of yourselves. You are just being racist to each other, black men to black men for that matter, this is so SICK.

Sad thing is you all are just talkers - think about YOUR country and DO something about what you feel is not right.
Romance / Re: Village Brides Vs. City Brides by eresource(m): 8:04pm On Nov 19, 2010
Funny and interesting. I guess it's all about preference which comes from experience then.

As for me, I don't think I can stand a person who would rely on a man for all physical, spiritual, financial, or mental needs.

So I'll ALWAYS go for "city girls" then.
Romance / Re: Does Love Exist Over The Net? by eresource(m): 2:21pm On Nov 16, 2010
First, I haven't seen in any book/reference/life where a person that loves what something looks like, rather it's how the thing makes a person feel that prompts the love affection.

Examples:

Religious' love - a commandment, an obligation, acknowledgment of other humans,
Love for Dogs - The assurance that it will always be your friend,
Love for Food - The satisfaction/peacefulness of the mind (LOVE is different from NEED for food)

The list goes on,

But humans' love generally is both simple and complicated and what prompts it varies from individual to individual, culture to culture, generation to generation, age range to age range.

Still love does exist strongly, it's an affection, emotion shown dearly towards another person, it is usually initiated by looks/deeds, then confirmed by liking a person's character and managing his/her flaws over time, and it will be that. So it transcends physicality, E-love, Real love are just other forms of love, they are still love.

So in the true sense, if you don't believe in e-love, you don't understand what love is and hence cannot truly love until you do.

Have a great Salah everybody!

Education / Re: Lasu Part-time Studies : Is Irrelevant, Useless And Futile by eresource(m): 11:21am On Oct 21, 2010
I feel your pain bro. I'm in the system presently, and all I can do is pray to God that I don't regret applying for LASU Part Time. I pray you'll get your certificate soon in Jesus name bro.

And if anyone is looking for admission or is desperate ABEG try other schools in Lagos, yabatech or laspotech dey there, trust me when I say the bsc may become your source of despair if you finally get into the system.

May God help us for this country.
