The choices both APC and PDP has made concerning the next general election are in favor of Peter Obi.

Just imagine if APC has fielded Osibanjo as their flagbearer, or PDP fielded a candidate from the South or after giving the ticket to Atiko gave the vice to someone from the East, that would have been tough for Obi.
Now the election will be between Peter and Obi as long as Nigerian youths are concern.

Reason being that we have seen enough of PDP that ruled for 16yrs, and not APC for 7yrs, things are getting worse everyday.
Enough of allowing old and known criminals to hold onto power.
We are taking our destinies in our hands this time around.

To think South Easterners are one of the most important pillars and pioneers of PDP from inception, more so, they’ve stood solidly behind the party and always voting it enmasse whenever the voting season comes, yet still they’re not considered worthy for the first two positions.

BTW, it’ll be 24years next year that southeast has been licking the boot of their norther counterparts in PDP, with nothing tangible to show for it.

When Obi left it was clear the VP slot went with him. Be honest, If you were in Atiku’s shoes who will you pick from the SE as running mate? All the “heavyweights” in the SE decamped to APC. So let PDP focus on how to secure North and SS, and then throw their all in SE and SW.

It’s a pity.

Even though we from the south south would've somewhat voted him, or shared our vote with him with Peter Obi, I'm not sure if yoruba people and Abokîs would've voted him at all.

If pdp had agreed on zoning to the south east, alright it would've been better. If it's Peter Obi, we would've voted en masse from for him, here in SS. SE too, with north being divided between him and whoever APC fields.

We have been shouting at Abokîs that they've ruled for 8 years, and for the sake of equity, power MUSR return to the south, even though zoning doesn't even exist in our democratic constitution.

Meanwhile, In the same South, we've ruled for a quite a while SW ruled before us. For the sake of this same equity that we've been demanding from Abokîs, make we give the south east wey never rule, nobody gree.
I even see skull miners saying presidency isnt given to any region, and that SE should work for it. Well if that is the case then no need to beg Abokîs to give us power na. They have the numbers to even win back to back to back 20 years. The sooner we stopped being hypocrites the better for us all.

Wike never agreed to micro zoning it to SE because he have his own interest. So everybody is suspicious of one another. wike really tried , to have come second with that number of votes against a formidable opponent like atiku isnt easy , atiku was well shaken and he has tambuwal and saraki to thank for his victory now .
But all said and done , wike would have been a bad candidate for pdp , he would have lost the north and it would have been difficult to sell his candidacy to the north and it would have taken a massive massive massive pr job to get the north to like him ..
Atiku needs no introduction , the masses know him already , he needs little pr , he has political friends and contacts in all regions and states who can work for him easily . he should be able to give any apc candidate a good run for their money this time around .
