First you have to educate yourself why belt cut before responding to me.

Before a belt get to the stage to cult you will know when you examine the belt.

A wuikity belt can serve the life of that vehicle. Manufacturing stating 100k moles doesn't mean it expires or it not good again. The sane thing is applicable to tyre.

Most uses tyre can still go for years.

When their is bad bearing or bent pulley those are misaligment that stress the belt and cause heat and friction. Bad alternator or compressor.

Like as I said bekt cutting is not an Honda thing but Toyota. He might be might be migrating from a Toyota and experience that belt shot reasons he is scared.

If he still think he want to remove OEM belt for new one he can proceed. But he might ve setting himself up. Reasons I said if it's not broken don't fix it
Bro this is not a competition of measuring dyck. you do not need to wait for your belt to cut B4 you change it,just as you do not need your Engine to pack up B4 you change the oil, Changing your belt is done at every 100K miles i n any car, if you dont, you run the risk of your belt snapping, watch word RISKSo if you are willing to take the risk by all means do but when it snaps, you would be regretting. You saying you timing belt is not your fan belt and there is nowhere anyone says it last for the entire life of the vehicle not even timing chain does that, as it stand in the Uk most MOT place will not do your MOT if your belt has not been changed since 100K miles meaning you cannot insure your car. You are mean to change your timing belt between 60 to 100k miles depend on your driving.
And about tyres dont even start me huh huh and where they are located on the tyre? huh huh huh,Do you know what tyre wear Indicators are huh
Best practice is change Timing Belt and water pump same time,In the US the cost of these kits are less than 191 Dollars https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/284766517784?chn=ps&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=710-153316-527457-8&mkcid=2&itemid=284766517784&targetid=4584757338550457&device=c&mktype=&googleloc=41471&poi=&campaignid=431353847&mkgroupid=1298523655396099&rlsatarget=pla-4584757338550457&abcId=9301942&merchantid=87779&msclkid=81f93ad3e9c617ad228c500f2c74305b.
The timing belt is one of the most critical components in your vehicle's engine, synchronizing the rotation of the crankshaft and camshaft to ensure proper valve timing. Unlike timing chains, which are made of metal and can last the lifetime of the engine, timing belts are typically made of rubber and reinforced with fiber cords, making them susceptible to wear and eventual failure.

A failed timing belt can cause catastrophic engine damage, particularly in interference engines where the pistons and valves occupy the same space at different times. When the belt snaps, the camshaft stops turning, leaving some valves in the open position. As the crankshaft continues to rotate, the pistons can collide with the open valves, bending them and potentially damaging the piston heads, cylinder walls, and other internal components. The cost of repairing this damage often exceeds $3,000, making preventive replacement a far more economical choice.

Manufacturers provide recommended replacement intervals, typically between 60,000 and 105,000 miles, but these are general guidelines. Actual replacement needs depend on various factors including vehicle age, driving conditions, belt material, and engine type. This calculator helps you determine a more personalized replacement schedule based on your specific circumstances.

you can get new or toks.

Belt especially for Honda doesn't just like that. There us a serious problem with misaligment...

If your belt is still strong leave it
You gave two wrong advice there, there is nothing like i f you belt is still strong, this is an item that wears with mileage, if it has done above 100K miles there is no need leaving it, change it straight away cos if it snaps, since its an interfering Engine, you will spend 10 times that mo ney to fix the problem.
Buying a used one what? what's wrong with you guys? If its not a serviceable part than by all means buy a use one but if its a serviceable part like belt bearings etc why buy a used one which might even be older than the one you are changing not being rude here bross change this mentality. Also where this part is located is not where you want to open more than 3 times in the entire life of the car.

Hello guys. I have a question about flight schedule change. Left Nigeria a few months ago and my ticket was booked by a travel agency. along the line, i wish to change my return date to an earlier period than planned. I called the travel agent to check the cost and i was told but it is way too high for an itinerary change i think. is it possible to go to a travel agency in the country i currently am if they can change it if the cost will be cheaper. I know i cannot ask the airline for this since i did not purchase the airline ticket directly from them initially. So, my question is can another agency in the other country help me get it done?
This is easy, all you have to do is go to the website of the airline e and chose a new ate to amend your ticket, the price you see is what is obtainable, there is nothing magic about it, however this is why its always good to book flexible ticket which has a fixed change of date price. Some airlines in total will not allow you to change you just buy a whole new ticket.

lol...No worry to argue with you..u keep twisting your statement....the whole argument here is about the best car in general...I stated in one reply that unless you narrow the argument down to the engine performance and car handling which i know very well toyota isnt in that bracket of best engine performance...You also brought in F1, From your F1 statement, you were suggesting Toyota has never fielded its own team in F1 not just supplied engines or parts as a partner, like BMW did with Sauber & WILLIAMS.... And do you know toyota supplied Engines to F1 cars in the 80s before they even had their own teamhuh...Ever heard of Toyota Gazoo? Do you know they are currently in a technical partnership with HAAS F1 team even though they dont supply haas with an engine, but haas gets technical support from toyota Gazoo. So from your statement toyota is currently in F1. Which i dont think BMW is currently supplying any F1 car engine or technical support.
Let me put this your argument to rest,

The Niger Bridge was recently rehabilitated and barriers were placed on the bridge to create a median.

Some people claimed that the bridge was a two-lane road and that the median would create traffic jams. They claimed that nobody would be able to pass the bridge if a vehicle broke down on it. This is not true.

The bridge is actually a four-lane bridge and vehicles are able to go past any broken down vehicle on the bridge. This video illustrates that point.

A minibus broke down on the bridge and a large truck was able to go past it without problems.

Portugal sees protests over cost of living and housing crisis as demonstrations sweep Europe

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FcI1kCVchwY?si=4qdrgQfmJlF16-EC

It comes as major cost-of-living demonstrations in France on Saturday turned violent as protesters clashed with riot police.
Several housing rights movements are joining trade unions affiliated with the CGTP union federation in demonstrations across Portugal on Saturday, as a series of cost-of-living protests sweeps Europe.

The union confederation has called for protests under the slogan: "Higher wages, better pensions, and public services. Against the rising cost of living. A new course for Portugal!"

Rallies are planned in Porto, Coimbra, and Lisbon.

The deepening cost-of-living crisis is affecting much of Europe, driven by rising prices and fuel costs and shortages of affordable housing, and has prompted thousands of people to take to the streets to make their voices heard.

"Faced with the rising cost of living, housing and fuel, even a basic shopping basket has reached an exorbitant price," a CGTP spokesperson told SICN in Coimbra on Saturday morning.

In Porto, the march set off from Praça da Batalha at around 10:30 am and is due to end in Praça D. João I, where protests against the housing crisis have been held throughout the week.

"We are continuing with our people's assembly, with the backing of ordinary citizens, independently of any party. People come from different groups, but we are not institutionally tied to any of them. This outcry is the result of abuse of authority and a way of saying 'enough of this crisis'," Pedro Manuel, one of the organisers of the protest in the city, said on Friday.

"There are those who want to drag us into debating other issues," the Left Bloc's José Manuel Pureza told the Associated Press. "But what people are demanding that we discuss is the right to housing for everyone."

"Those whose rent is getting ever more expensive, those whose mortgage is increasingly hard to fit into the family budget. That is what we are talking about, that is why people have been protesting, always peacefully, always peacefully," he added.

In Coimbra, the rally began outside Portugal dos Pequenitos and is expected to end in Praça 8 de Maio, in front of the city hall.

In the capital Lisbon, thousands of people are expected for a march scheduled for 14:30 pm local time, starting in Cais do Sodré and finishing in Rossio. However, the mayor of Lisbon has warned that, although he considers it "a just cause," the protests must take place "within the law."

Speaking to the Lusa news agency, CGTP general secretary Tiago Oliveira said the demonstrations were taking place because of the "brutal increase" in housing prices and in the cost of living.

Oliveira also warned of the growing "degradation of public services" and said it was an opportunity for citizens "to fight against the government's policies."

It comes as major cost-of-living demonstrations in France on Saturday turned violent as protesters clashed with riot police.

Toyota being a taxi means absolutely nothing and doesn't change the fact that it is a very reliable car and way ahead of Mercedes Benz. They can't use Mercedes Benz as a taxi because it wouldn't withstand the heavy use as a taxi.
Come to London and see Mercedes as Taxi and Uber, however they are for executive taxiing, one nah taxi one nah Cab lol
The Engine of a Mercedes is far more stronger than that of any Toyota, the alloys used in it out dates that of Toyota, Toyota is mass produced.
Reliable stat is by measuring the functionality of components ie, ordinary head light, Radiators, AC,Exhust, seats, dashboard
Engines, Gear box axles and Body work, leather, door knobs, Technology etc

Moreso, Nigerian owners love to abuse their vehicles and the Toyota brand gladly accepts all manner of abuse so it's loved very much.

Toyota makes everything very basic without over engineering so the knowledge curve to aspiring auto mechanics is not too steep.

BMW engines helped Nelson Piquet win the world championship with Brabham in 1983, while Benetton, ATS and Arrows in the main were also supplied engines during the period BMW competed in F1 between 1982 and 1987.
BMW rivals entered after their exit
Since their exit, BMW's national rivals Mercedes (2010) and Audi (2026) have entered the sport, with the former dominating much of the 2010s winning 15 world championships between 2014 and 2021 and the latter taking over the Sauber team, like BMW did.
