honesttalk21: EFCC's own chairman Bawa (EFCC Alert, 2021) put figures on it: $153m recovered plus final forfeiture of 80+ Nigerian properties worth ~$80m, including flats/penthouses at Banana Island. Separately, a Lagos Federal High Court ordered permanent forfeiture of $40m in jewellery seized from her Asokoro home in 2019. Those are court orders, not press claims — so "no evidence" isn't accurate, even if the underlying criminal case stalled.

Those funds or properties wee never in her name and ythe most annoying thing is this, the EFCC could not provide evidence in court that these properties and monies ever existed in the 1st place, this was the mockery the EFC brought to Nigeria in the UK.All they have was Linked, no document to prove anything or to show funds left her account or were the funds found in her bank account. Look I am not saying she is a saint, I am just trying to tel you here, that, the EFCC are inadequate in their war against corruption, take a look at this page it paints a true picture of how inadequate teh EFCC is. https://lawakhigbe.com/2026/04/27/diezani-alison-maduekes-casea-story-that-no-longer-holds-its-shape-by-bolouere-opukiri/ |

honesttalk21: They're different cases. UK's Southwark trial was narrow: six bribery counts tied to specific benefits from Atlantic Energy/SPOG, concluded in acquittal in June 2026. Nigeria's EFCC case, 13 counts of money laundering built on unexplained wealth, never reached full trial. But forfeitures still happened, run through Nigeria's separate non-conviction civil forfeiture track, which doesn't require a criminal conviction. EFCC claims over $153m recovered and 80+ properties forfeited that way. So no evidence describes the criminal case that stalled, not the forfeitures, which proceeded anyway and are now being challenged in Abuja using her UK acquittal. Please Enlighten us on what was recovered from her, do you know of any with proff? cos from what was red in court none of the so called properties ws her own and the EFCC do no have any evidence of funds recovered ro do you know of such? |

QuinQQ: My friend you don't know what you're talking about. See the tactic below. Do you people ever ask yourselves why a case should last that long? Why a judge will keep granting adjournments to the defense? A judge is supposed to designate a date as "final," meaning no further requests for postponement will be accepted!
How long did Ibori's trial last? Less than a year. Diezani lasted over 11 years!
You can't blame them. See how long ago. Documents get lost. Memories become foggy. Besides, you don't know who was bribed to make just those "mistakes". These are still Nigerians. Given enough time, a dismissal or acquittal can be obtained in just about any case!
Ibori's trial lasted less than one year. If it lasted eleven years do you think he'd have been convicted? YOu say her trial lasted over 11 years , you are so funny, I already explained to you how the judge sets a time frame for a trail, in her case the trial only took 12 weeks with the judge actually stating that there will be no delays hence he said 10 to 12 weeks, the trial started jan 2026 and ended B45 the 12 weeks. The case against her was nearly up to 11 years,Note the difference, it took 8 years for charges to be brought to her cos your government wee backsliding and fabricating more tell tales to bring thinking they are dealing with an African court. |

QuinQQ: Ibori pleaded guilty. The two cases are different. In one case someone embezzled state funds, in the other case someone owns properties and lifestyle equating her to a billionaire with no clear source of the income He only pleaded guilty cos the evidence were there black and white and there was no influencing the UK justice system as I already said.do you know his crime was bordered around £50M only? |

QuinQQ: Ibori pleaded guilty. The two cases are different. In one case someone embezzled state funds, in the other case someone owns properties and lifestyle equating her to a billionaire with no clear source of the income was there any evidence in what you just said? cos I was in that Southwark court, she only own one house in the UK, the rest the EFCC claimed she owned were not her own, the EFCC do not even have details of the home she owns, and no disrespect to her, my house is even more expensive than her own. The properties they keep claiming were her own in Nigeria none could be labelled against her in the UK, the EFCC failed to provide any evidence, this is why the case collapse, its not that she was found not guilty, there was no case i n the first place. |

Ibori's trial lasted less than one year. If it lasted eleven years do you think he'd have been convicted? All these you are copying a posting does not apply to the Uk court, there is no such word as plaintiff in the Uk system because the first thing the judge does after swearing in the Jury is to set a time scale for the case and give directives .Both lawyers now look in their dairy and agree on dates, to see what dates is fair to them, The judge also ask the jury to see who has holiday booked etc hence initially the jury is up to 40 then they are scaled down to 15 and when the trial starts proper it goes to 12.This is true for the criminal case. cos it will be btween the defendant and the King.If you cant pay for a defence lawyer the government will provide one to defend you.But to get a realy good defence barrister you will need topay, people like a guy called scubby will charge nearly 30k pounds for a one week trial. The only way a judge can adjourn a case is ifit is i n the public interest, or a jury was sick,Cos every time a judge adjourn a case for a significant amount of time, he has to restart the case from scratch,he cannot continue from where he stopped, and in most cases a new judge will be appointed to take over the case.it dnt work like Nigeria sir.I think I have been in more than 300 trails in the UK to know this. |

QuinQQ: I don't care where you live. Judges belong to the same clubs and play golf with some lawyers but not others. There's a reason some lawyers make 100 times more than others. Once the judge sees their name they'll start looking for excuse to acquit or dismiss. They'll keep awarding adjournments till that reason is developed. It is a called ADJOURN, ADJOURN, ADJOURN, DISMISS! Sir your ignorance is xtreem, typical .I don't think you even know what a Jury is,you are talking out of your backside |

QuinQQ: See pure ignorance. So London court is not man-know-man? Why do you think some lawyers make 100 times what some other lawyers make? Any time you see a case dragging on for so.long know that expensive lawyers are doing their thing and the case.is surely headed towards dismissal Look at the illiteracy fenced in your argument, nothing like man know man here, I live in it, if you are found wanting you will be thrown under the BUS,you think the judges here give a flying fvck here, do you know the worth of some of the people the throw in jail? Billionaires are i n Jail i n the UK.These are teh people who threw Boy George in Jail, threw R kelly in Jail and PDiddy in jail, you think they give a damn bout your cash, these are hard core people they don't care if they live under the rock they are just principled, this is what you don't have in Nigeria, Principle. They dnt mind chasing 10 pounds with 500k.I have been to courts across the Uk you have not, you have no Idea how powerful the Judges are i n the UK. Another thing that you are ignorance about is that the Judge does not decide if a person is guilty or not they don't, the Jury does, the judge just gives directive. So those 12 people i n the jury are the ones to determine your faith |

Money is kto everything. ahahaah I laugh in spanish,I am talking directly at you, so you will chose a man who takes you to Eko beach and cinema in GRA Ph than the guy who buys a rtn tkt to Vegas? Oh plzzzz, everyone wants a soft landing even us men. The only woman who does not care about your pocket at a stage in their life is the WIFE simple. At my level right now, if I say ok babes I am buying you a tkt we going away for your birthday then you turn around for me to give you 100K for your passport then your level is low. As you can see, both instances need money and more money. There is no romance without comfort and there is no comfort without real money. |

Hamachi: But there is another funny side of dating in Nigeria that we should talk about: the Nigerian man you meet after collecting your number. 😂
Because sometimes, the problem was never getting the number. The real test begins after he gets it.
You will meet the man who says, “I’m a very simple person. I don’t like spending unnecessarily.”
Translation: romance must be powered by prayer. 😂
1. THE STINGY MAN
He can afford it, but every outing suddenly becomes a financial audit.
“Why don't we just sit at home?”
“Food is expensive outside.”
“Can you cook?”
Sir, you invited her out. 😭
2. THE UNROMANTIC MAN
You send him a beautiful message in the morning.
“Good morning, my love ❤️. I hope you slept well.”
His reply:
“Morning.”
That's all.
You start wondering if you are dating a man or customer-care chatbot.
3. THE “I DON'T DO BIRTHDAY” MAN
Your birthday comes and he says:
“Happy birthday, dear. God bless you.”
Meanwhile, he just bought himself a new phone three weeks ago.
You ask about your gift and he says:
“I'm the gift.”
Brother, please. 😭😂
4. THE “COME TO MY HOUSE” MAN
Every date invitation somehow leads to his house.
Restaurant? No.
Cinema? Too expensive.
Beach? Too far.
“Come over, let's just chill.”
At some point, madam will start asking herself whether she is in a relationship or has been employed as a part-time visitor.
5. THE LOW-EFFORT ROMANTIC
He wants all the benefits of a relationship but puts zero effort into maintaining it.
No flowers.
No thoughtful surprises.
No planned dates.
No random “I saw this and thought of you.”
But when you complain, he says:
“Women are too demanding these days.”
Nobody asked you to buy a helicopter. Sometimes even a ₦2,000 thoughtful gesture can mean more than a ₦200,000 gift given without affection.
6. THE “MY EX DIDN'T ASK FOR THIS” MAN
You ask for basic emotional effort and suddenly your request becomes unreasonable.
“My ex never complained.”
Maybe that's why she's your ex, sir. 😂
7. THE MAN WHO THINKS PROVIDING MONEY IS THE ENTIRE PERSONALITY
Yes, financial responsibility matters. But money alone doesn't make someone romantic.
A woman can appreciate a man who provides and still want affection, attention, communication, compliments, quality time and intentionality.
Being financially responsible is not an excuse to be emotionally unavailable.
8. THE “I'M NOT A ROMANTIC PERSON” MAN
Some men proudly announce this as if romance is a genetic condition.
Bro, romance is not necessarily about expensive gifts. Learn your woman's love language. Listen to her. Remember important dates. Check on her. Plan something occasionally. Give her a genuine compliment.
You don't need to become Shakespeare overnight.
At the end of the day, women are not necessarily asking Nigerian men to spend their entire salaries on them.
Most women simply want to feel considered, appreciated and intentionally loved.
Because just as men should learn that collecting a woman's number doesn't mean she likes them, women also need to understand that a man's financial capacity, personality and approach to romance will differ.
But please, Nigerian men...
If you have money and you are still stingy, that's a character issue.
And if you have little money but you are thoughtful, intentional and romantic, you can still make a woman feel special without bankrupting yourself.
No be every romance matter require POS transfer. Sometimes na effort. 😂❤️ All this nah plenty plenty talk, madam, there is one solution to all this busy body, MONEY, once you hear alert all this do not matter |

That was when he initially noticed that i have changed the car colour, he called his colleagues that are around and stopping other cars ny by the other side of the road and they took my car to the station, that the affifavid and police report that i did isn't enough to back the change of colour that i did. Please is it really possible and true that the affifavid and police report isn't enough to back up the change of colour that i did?
