I gave them my details and the official immediately told me they are aware of my request. He said it's due to the large no of applications being processed at this time but I should expect the revised offer letter by about mid next week.

I also asked about the best option for making payment ie Card vs T/T he said both are fine but he seems to prefer the Card option. I had loaded my phone with a lot of credit expecting to be put on hold with music playing and all but the whole conversation was over in 6mins. 39naira/min

Yes, your transcript will be addressed to VETASSESS... Your school will send the original transcript and a certify copy of your certificate (as in, you make a photocopy of your certificate, school will sign and stamp it).

For online application with Vetasses, does your transcript needs to be address to Vetasses from the University? Or will certified copies of academic docs only be sufficient? I saw a plc where they said for "Nigeria" Certificate and transcript should be addressed by the institution and sent to Vetasses, and I intend using online application.

Pls advice. Open to all in the house.

Online application is better and faster.

I was rejected, I want to re-apply and also use PR route.

Call the School, they are very busy this period to answer email. Call them and tell them what you want, then take your next line of action after their response.

I have sorted the Attestation from the NPC but yet to go pick it up (was called that it's been ready since yesterday).

I have a little delay with my school as the OSHC on the offer letter was for a single individual but I intend going with my wife so I wrote to them requesting they revise it accordingly. That was 72hours ago but no response so far. I don't know if I should just go ahead and pay using the issued offer letter and arrange a separate single OSHC for the wifey or do I wait for another offer letter to be issued?

Does Logistics has any hedge in Australia? I saw some related occupation in Logistics on the CSOL in 3 States. But my wonder is if one can get a Post Study work Visa after 3yrs Undergraduate program in Logistics towards gaining work exp on PR. Another issue is how is the pay in Oz in this field? (Procurement, Supply Chain Mgt, Warehouse Mgr, Equipment Hire Mgr, Transport and Haulage). Is the pay Rosy over there on this field?

Yes, they changed the law this year July. You will see previous passport number, and the the new passport number as well. I wish you progress in all u do.

Tony Abbots Leadership was Challenged and was Voted out today as the PM of Australia. Marculn Turnbull is the New Australian PM.

This guy is against Immigration and in support of Gay Marriage, the guy also suggested that Australia PR should be sold for about AuS50,000 which will generate billions for the Government while help get people to work in the Country at the same time. Then Tony Abbot insisted that Australian Citizenship is "not for sale".

New Passports now carry's old passport number for Ref sake, the last passport that expired will be ref on the new Passport as "Previous Passport No" and the new Passport will still have its own number.

@no1. New passport don't carry same passport numbers. And you can have visa on and old expired passport and have a new passport . NIS stamp cancell without prejudice on the old one. And the visa will still be valid

I think the house mis-understood me, the Nigeria New Immigration Law Since July 15th allows renewed passport numbers on the new passport which will state on the new passport as "Old Passport Number" and the new passport will still have its own Passport number, this is for reference sake.

2. Ewagbamio, what exactly do you mean by an unabridged birth certificate. Aside from carrying both parents' names, are there any other requirements? By the way...those guys at PH NPC are very helpful

It's an accessing body that access your qualification in Australia, if your qualification is to be accessed under them, depending on the Occupation you intend to access towards a Visa Sub-Class.

Photocopy the datapage of your International Passport datapage, goto High Court and ask them to Certify it, then scan and upload it to them.

Just as Lawland said, you can apply for Visa at least 6months to the Expiration of your Passport. But I will personally advice your re-new your passport. The old one will be cancelled by NIS and the old Passport Number will be placed on the new one as "Old Passport Number" while the new one will be displayed up. This will then help in reference for any application that u have used the new passport. Thank you for your words, I have thought about life and I still prefer oz to 9ja. I am re-applying, a different program this time.

You shouldn't just give it up like that, think of the long term prospects. I believe Australia offers a better life on the long run and that is what matters most. Wish you joy on the PR route.

I have a question for all the gurus in the house, I just got admission for a Masters Program (UQ) commencing Feb 2016 but my Passport will be expiring in April 2016 ie like 7months to go. My plan was to pay the required fees and then renew my passport in Nov and then apply for the Visa but I saw that there is a space on the acceptance for where they require my passport no

So, wise people what do you suggest I do in this case?

1. Do I pay, get my eCOE and apply for visa with the new passport and include the old passport as evidence?
2. Do I get my eCOE and apply for visa with the old passport? will the little time left on the passport not be a reason for denial?
3. Do I put everything on hold until NOV after passport renewal? Problem with this is that I usually don't have time off work so i dont want things piling up

I have gathered just about every other documents needed and I just front loaded the Medicals recently

Thanks Lawland, I am currently preparing my SOP, I have 8yrs work exp in Logistics and I have a Company that is into Logistic Support Service and Consultation. The Company has been Registered a Business Name since 2011 and was upgraded to Limited Liability since 2013. I have all the registration docs. I think this will fly. I have consulted an Immigration Lawyer friend and he has advised that I apply for Logistic Mgt as I have a better chance and Career/Business prospect upon my return to Nigeria.

Yes you can but remember, you need a better packaging as it gets harder to get a visa once you are refused visa. Just make sure you write a good SOP....

Sorry to hear this. Visa application to any country in the world demands proper planning and thinking on ones feet. If the coy u work for is not online, then that is a major problem, because they just Google d company's name if no website was provided. And if not satisfied, will put a call through or email. But when they can't accomplish the first verification step, its a straight NO. Vetassess uses this template, but tend to carry on with the 2nd step I mentioned above with Asian applicants.

Yes ooo my man, na PR me and my wife go pursue now, the Student Visa thing, Pretoria is now careless with their decisions, SVP ko SVP ni.

I quote them " Your Application will be processed under the Streamlined Visa Processing, this mean you will have reduced evidently documents and Immigration risks irrespective of your Country of Passport".

I will sadly tell you guys that this people don't access us under any SVP, na AL3 them de access us. They will also add grammer that giving the non business relationship with your country and australia, wetin concern student with the two countries bilateral agreement? Nor be School we wan go?

Hope the tax document is personal income tax? And the Bank statement is a current account reflecting your Salaries as they are paid Monthly?

Work experience is calculated post-qualification. You can't claim experience for work done while you are studying.

Wages earned are shown using payslip, bank statement and tax documents.

Hello House, I wanna ask how do they access payslips for PR? Is it monthly payments deposited to you Current Account which reflects your net pay? Also, can a work exp count for someone while studying a Bsc program? E.g someone working as an Equipment Hiring Manager, and studying Bsc in Business Admin at the same time, and after graduating with the Course intends to apply for PR immediately after the course for PR accessing as an Equipment Hiring Manager. Pls advice. Does work Exp for PR only counts for your after University Education? What about short qualifications and certification?
