Eraytee: So I decided to give ielts one more shot just to max out but it was a disappointment, just checked my result.
Previous attempt- 8,7,7,7.5 LRWS (july 27th) Current result- 8,7,7.5,9 LRWS (23rd November).
I leave it in Gods hand, it will end in praise. Congratulations to everyone who have scaled the huddle of ielts and to those that are yet to get the required score. Don’t give up.
PS: the above November result was my 9th attempt. Did it help ur crs rise at all dear? Even me I’m contemplating re writing in January if this month’s ITA isn’t favorable. God will help us all |

opeoyek: Does a firm owned by an in law qualify as a family company In the stories I’ve read they are companies that the person who signed the reference letter was related by surname to the applicant or the name of the company was the applicants surname. It’s on this thread. One that comes to mind is lady who was invited to Accra. She thought it was about a visa refusal only to find out it’s because she was the accountant in her father’s coy. And they asked her silly questions like: what an accountant does? And whether she has the same work hours with others since she’s related to the owner of the coy? She truly worked there so she defended herself well and got PPR before she landed Nigeria same day. PLEASE IF YOU TRULY WORK THERE YOU HAVE NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT. It’s not everyone they call for interview THIS story was just peculiar and she shared it here last year. |

Somaris: Your first sentence is misleading and wrong as you are not a Visa officer. People TRULY work and earn IN a family company. It's work not slavery. VOs believe it cos it happens, once you can show you were paid in cash or bank. Stop making true stories seem suspicious. Actually it has been reported here several times and on Facebook. People have been invited for interview in Accra to prove it because they claimed work experience under family business especially to max out 3 years. I’m not saying it’s an automatic refusal I’m saying its SUSPICIOUS because it’s been reported as that. I’m not MISLEADING ANYONE PLEASE. If the person truly works there then there should be no problem na. In this case the individual truly didn’t work there so why waste time claiming it when she can use her real nysc to claim especially if there’s a possibility of being invited to prove the job later. |

DexterousOne: I'm talking of my local government inspector at the secretariat I taught in a school tho for NYSC
Thank u for the info Your LGI can’t give u. You didn’t work under him. You need to go to the establishment/office/company/school where u did your nysc placement. |

DexterousOne: Even if it was a school?
Can your lgi write a reference in your behalf? Yes even if it’s a school. You can meet the principal to write the reference or you can do a draft in CIC format and give him/her to sign. People have done that. Use the search bar to see examples of people who worked in schools for nysc there are a lot and they’ve been successful. You can use your alllawee as evidence of payment if u don’t have payment from the school you know some schools don’t pay. |

crispviv: Hi Guys,
I must confess, this page has been so helpful. I have been a silent follower of this page and would like to make some clarifications. My sister applied for EE. she has two years experience and used one year NYSC experience in my family's company to make her work experience three years. However, she did not state that it was NYSC and she did not even do the NYSC in our family's company. She just used this to make up for her three years experience.
Is this a problem? Like would they know that she did not do NYSC in the company? YES it is . They always suspect when people claim work experience under a family business. They don’t believe you actually worked and earned salary since it’s owned by your family. It’s better for her to get reference letter from where she did her NYSC, use her alllawee statement of account to show salary input. A lot of people have used their REAL NYSC PLACE OF WORK to claim work experience and they are chilling in Canada now. |

Mayorsmart02: Good day my people. This group has always been a winning type ever since! So, I extol the relentless efforts of the gurus/elders, whose primary aim is to frequently disseminate useful series of information for PPR achieving goal of all! I used to be a silent reader, meaning that I am just writing for the very first time.
My questions : Will there be an added point(s) if I decide to evaluate both BSc and MSc? NO ONLY USE THE HIGHEST QUALIFICATION WHICH IS MSC IN UR CASE
2. When sending my transcript to ECA, must I include my ORIGINAL certificate with it? SCANNED COPY FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS GIVEN FROM THE BODY YOU INTEND EVALUATING WITH YOU WILL KNOW WHEN TO ADD IT
3. I learnt, in one of the previous posts, that a statement of result is also acceptable if one is yet to collect the certificate. How true is that? YES PEOPLE HAVE HAD SUCCESS STORIES
4. Am I to send my original statement of result (if acceptable) or a notarized copy to her? SCANNED COPY
5. My wife has 1st class in her BSc and same in her MSc (I'm also not too bad with my 2.1, lol), does ECA evaluate results and give points based on individuals academic standings ? THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR GRADES THEY WANT TO KNOW YOU FINISHED THE REQUIRED COURSES TO GET THE DEGREE
I will like those questions be answered by elders/gurus in the house as these are sine qua non to achieving this race with you. Thanks so much. I will be looking forward to receiving guides/opinions |

luchistea: Hi fam, I fulfilled all the criteria for express entry, and so I went on to create a profile. based on my CRS evaluation, I had 493 points, so imagine my shock when I submitted my profile and got the feedback that I am not eligible for express entry.
I am 27 Years old Single Masters degree- evaluated by ICES IELTS- R 9, L 9, S 9, W 7
Anyway, I went on to create a different application and this time I included my secondary and university qualification, yet same review from them. both applications currently read 'Profile ineligible', while status reads "We regret to inform you that you are no longer eligible to be in the pool. " I am so confused right now. Please let me know if anybody has experienced this and what to do about it.
Is it possible that it has to do with NOC? Although I have up to 5 years total work experience under 3 different NOC's, I have less than one year experience in the NOC I put as my primary NOC. Could this possibly be the issue? If yes, should I create another application and adjust my primary NOC to the one that I have the most experience?
Looking forward to feedback please. Do not add you secondary school qualification. Only ur highest qualification pls. |

I just tire. Honestly the only thing we can do is hope n pray anything can happen it’s their program they can do what they want but don’t be negative abeg lol some people like me are living on HOPE this is our only chance we don’t have PNP opportunity or husband/ wife or sibling to increase scores... we are even lucky with above 460 imagine those below that? Wonder how they feel. All we can do is pray pray pray and hope hope hope. It will keep dropping |

I don't know whether is only an academic certification that is compulsory to evaluate. You can’t evaluate any IT certification. Unless it’s a diploma or degree |

Bear007: Good day fam,
Please can someone advise me on the best option from the listed below putting into consideration cost, duration and credibility for processing of mt EE.
BCS - please note that I have no background in ICT. CIMA - am a graduate of sociology. CIPM - PGD - unilag preferably because I currently work from Friday to Saturday.
Any other idea will be appreciated. Thanks. I don’t advice PGD cuz it takes 9 months I think you should do BCS it’s a diploma you don’t need to have a background the diploma itself is the foundation course and it’s in March result comes out a few months after and you can enter the pool instead of waiting 9 months then federal school wahala of processing transcripts. My opinion. |
