CaptainFM1:What's the need when you can't buy things to celebrate Christmas, when the workers don't have alternatives? Christmas is over already. You're more than wicked with this statement. Even the Muslims need their salary to enjoy the holiday season. May God forgive you. At times when you don't have anything meaningful to say, it's better to keep quiet |
They'd say it's fake news as usual. Meanwhile, tinubu came into town in a commando style with over 60 suvs a few days back after throwing millions of civil servants into hunger by not paying their December salary to enable them enjoy their holiday. What a leader indeed. |
meditator:OK. Anything else? Merry Christmas. That's the message. Rest |
To begin with, who started all the mess we're in today? When the government cares less about the public and their welfare, every individual follows suit. If the governor or president enforces a law that says rents must be collected either every 6 months or monthly, dem no born that agent to misbehave. The government also has the right to ensure value for money. because many don't leave the shores of Nigeria, they dont tend to know how much they're suffering in the hands of their leaders they're praising. In kenya, rent is paid monthly. Nothing like all these ridiculous agency fees. Same in Botswana,Rwanda, etc. These are the countries we call mushroom.Rents are fixed based on some facilities in place. You don't need to move in your fridge, washing machine and cooking gas. But here, an agent could take you to the slum and ask you to pay 2m naira. Who would you cry to? Democracy in Nigeria is the opposite of it's true meaning. They don't care if you exist or not. |
lereinter:You're right but the rituals done in an open glare is more acceptable No politicians or their agent will grab a human being and start slaughtering him/her in the open glare or in a public/crowded environment, not to talk of killing 2 people or more. Whenever a ritualist wishes to drop his or her concoction of rituals he/she goes to a public place or a major road junction and drop it in a calabash. Why didn't they put it in a corner or throw it inside bush? Our politicians know what they're doing. I know of a similar occurrence but it's not necessary to share it here. Many would still not believe so it's better I save my energy and utilise it elsewhere. |
Not again. Wetin carry pesin go do drugs for Nicaragua loun loun? Ha! I pray they get all of them |
It's either he didn't know how to be smart enough to forfeit the drug proceeds and lie that he didn't know how the drug money entered his account or he refused to let go of the money due to greed but preferred to go to jail instead. The smart guy who had really made money from it is now president. In Alli Ndume's words, if you want to win election in Nigeria, have enough money and breed thugs. But the man is right. I just did a random sampling of those currently serving in Nigerian govt, who had had the history of drug dealings, from state governor to the national assembly, to late buruji kashamu who never go school but becom senator. Drug money sure pass rituals in those days when airport security was so loose. |
It's in human blood. Everyone knows where to pass during flood. But for selfish gains and pecuniary interests, rated over and above the interest of the majority, they'd prefer a deadly path and get drowned ![]() Good governance isn't a rocket science at all. The people who are saddled with the responsibility of making that choice are the problem, 99% of the time, those who will end up being at the receiving end, sadly. |
Sonofgod1990:Don't mind him. The news said dangote refinery reduced fuel price, not tinubu or the NNPCL. As usual, he must say something stewpid to please his slave master. Most of them don't even read before vomiting their trash |
helinues:Since when has tinubu become dangote? Read the news again and with your eyeglasses on. The news didn't say NNPCL or tinubu but Dangote refinery |
Nigeria is a big name, to which success is attached. Our problem is leadership cum bigotry. Once we can commonly fight and overcome this, we'll reclaim our giants position in Africa and be envied by other countries. I remember Chidinma adetshina too. There was a time India was envying Nigeria. To get Nigerian visa by India in the 70s- early 90s was very difficult. India once recorded the highest Nigeria's visa refusal rate among other nations of the world. They'd come and bring their entire family. They schooled in our public secondary schools and universities. Our IGR was fat and people were gainfully employed. Parents would do contributions to send their children to school cos education was lucrative. Sadly, the present generation who are defending the likes of Tinubu who damaged everything met nothing on ground. We still benefited partially from our sound education sector back then. Today, no Indian wants to come. We're even the ones begging them to come and invest. They've taken their business elsewhere on same african continent to invest and India is fast becoming a developed nation despite their teeming population. Their fruit market in ilupeju, Lagos is now a ghost town. Bad leaders have ruined our nation yet, some people are praising them out of bigotry. Buhari did his own and the north stood by him. It's now Tinubu's turn, instead of us to criticise his anti people policies, we're supporting him despite suffering and smiling. Are we also as unintelligent and illiterate as the north? I think they say we're more intelligent and can criticise bad governance. Why are we keeping quiet? |
His followers also know. That's why they are keeping quiet. They'll still voice out when they're tired . Happy Christmas holiday, everyone. Taking a break until new year. Signing off... |
Sonnobax15:Stampede is an orchestrated plan by politicians to take human blood. It's a modern and clean way of redeeming their vows. Take food items to any state or area, invite people to come pick theirs. At least, one must die. Or tell people there's a gathering for a social discussion, invite a lot of people and throw gift at them. One person must die. Our politicians know what being organised is all about. They know how to go about it and nobody will lose their lives. But for the reason explained above they'd look the other way. People should stop honouring such calls cos heads dey different. Head strong pass head. By the way, Alex Iwobi did a good job but UK people no hungry reach naija in this tinubu era. He should have come home to do the same, same way some of our footballers had done in the past. |
Urheadmaster:Say it loud. Meanwhile, a mega party is imminent. Watch out and don't argue with anyone over it. |
Pls don't say this in the north. You wouldn't like what would happen to you next. ![]() |
Since Niger broke away from West africa, onions had become very expensive, they shut their border against us and other west african nations and focused on other african nations. Niger is the largest exporters of onions in africa. We need to start growing onions asap. |
Namaster:It's really incomprehensible to say the least. When you heard that an aboki gateman is seeing madam, you'd be wondering if money, fame, position or wealth is her problem. One would just be wondering why she gad to stoop so low. I don't get it. Amazingly, some men act same way. It's not a gender thing |
Dapson73:Stop acting like an illiterate. Which videos do you need to watch, this day an age, when there are veritable news sources? We all come on NL to read news but only a few have a sense of understanding of what they read. In the 2025 budget, there's a huge deficit of 13.39tr naira which will be financed by borrowing. Salary takes a substantial part of our yearly budget. Read more below You won't die if you spend 2 minutes of your time to read and internalise, instead of displaying sheer ignorance and illiteracy in the eye of thousands of intelligence people here in the defence of failure. . Happy reading. https://punchng.com/debt-servicing-salaries-take-n24-8tn-in-2025-budget https://www.nairaland.com/8294954/2025-budget-13-trillion-deficit |
Hopebringer:I guess you're one of the tribalistis we're talking about, those destroying the development of our country. I sight you. I'm Yoruba but I never believed him one bit, judging by how he milked lagos wealth. If not for Barr Muis Banirę, who stood up for us, tinubu would have eaten our bursary that year. Dem no gree till today. We knew him and that's why we didn't vote him in lagos. I was one of those who vehemently campaigned against him last year. I tried to persuade my people but they called me names instead. We're all enjoying his government together today. Anyone with a conscience among them would realise his/her irredeemable mistake now, cos we shouted loud enough. |
Hahaha. Keep lying, we're listening. I hope by now, those praise singers should know they're in a one chance bus. Wait for more of such old news. Dangote has just averted another nationwide scarcity by collaborating with MRS and other marketers to release petrol even at a reduced price nationwide. When he said in July, that he'd sell to the market direct, even much cheaper than the NNPCL they stopped him and took over the downstream operations and pricing, in order to cover up their subsidy mess . I just hope sooner, dangote will bite the bullet and sell at his desired price to the masses and damn the consequences from the NNPCL. I wasn't surprised when the NNPCL said they too had reduced their prices after dangote's announcement which was audio as usual. I'm just buying fuel at a NNPCL station now. See the price below, nothing has changed. I had to snap the entire dispenser to reveal the nnpc logo cos of the doubting thomases and Tinubu's praise singers. Nigeria is inside a one chance bus already. Dem never sabi tinubu. Lying is his middle name
|
Topman7:Who's this liar ..Were you sleeping when the FG said 2025 budget will be financed with loan including payment of salary? So, where is the money to spend? Stop being a sycophant |
Everybody has to have a share in the bad choices some people have made. What a suffering and smiling nation. To get Nigeria working isn't a rocket science. We all know the reason we're here today and the trend will only continue, while the masses keep suffering. Bigotry is a self-curable disease. |
Future of Nigeria has already been hijacked by the old corrupt and super greedy politicians while those meant to develop the country's future have been abandoned to their fate, instead of engaging them gainfully. It will take a concerted effort to redeem this nation from her woes |
Baba must have travelled on helicopter because ekiti road isn't passable at all. Sadly, he'd not see all the mess on ground. |
People should tell this parrot that a mega party, which will unseat his paymaster is coming. Which south west is he talking about? Was it his effort that gave obi those votes in lagos and other parts of the region? Those who sacked him from the LP did a good job. They had seen it coming. He'd have been worse than baba apapa, that mole in the party. He stole millions of our money as labour party chieftain, which led to his sack. Maybe he was thinking he's still in the pdp where corruption isn't stealing when those monies were missing. I remember when this parrot said pdp would rule for 50 years hahaha |
God1000:Do they care? They've achieved their aims already. They needed blood to renew their vows and they've gotten it. You may not know how many incantations they must have made on those bags of rice at the origin before they left for the various locations. Only wise people would dissociate themselves from such an arrangement. It's a bait. The modern way of taking human blood by these wicked politicians is death by stampede. |
I said it yesterday. The modern way of human sacrifice in Nigeria is death by stampede. Dem think say na lie. Our wicked politicians know the best way of distributing food items. Shebi many of them claimed to have schooled abroad. Many have family and investments there as well. But because they needed blood, they'd never do the right thing or use an organised channel to distribute such items to the hungry public. |
See how unfair our judicial system is . May we not fall victim of circumstance. That's the common prayer. The enemies had seen the future of this boy(now man) and had chosen to destroy it. When we say every parent should be praying for their children, they think say na yam. We're so evil in this part of the world. When we see some people progress in life, we envy them without knowing the sacrifices their parents had made over them. Don jazzy is a good example, davido too. The latter's mum was a prayer warrior and a devout adventist but nobody would ever hear this part. Wizkid's mum was a devout Christian too and pillar behind him and why her death had hit him so much. Davido named his first daughter Imade, an edo word to honour his late mum for the role played in his life. But we all envy them today. The fame didn't come by surprise. That said, to every police officer's child reading this message, if you want to end it well in life, just go for deliverance kiakia cos the sin of your father or grand father will be visited on your head. Please don't see this advice as nonsense. I've never seen a child of a police officer do good in life, except his/her dad didn't compromise his call to duty. There are many likes of this guy still languishing in our various prisons nationwide today . Many had even lost their lives The likes of yahaya bello, tinubu, orji kalu, atiku, etc are supposed to be on deathrow by now, including wike but because they've corrupted our judicial system so much, they remain untouchable. Just last week, a major leader and a global figure in China was executed. Here in Nigeria, he'd be given chieftaincy titles or he retires at the senate. E get many reasons why Nigeria no develop. Our judiciary played a major role in our setback as a nation. God bless Gov Adeleke, Bar Falana,et al. |
Indecent dressing must first be dealt with, followed by closure of night clubs and lounges. Preaching the word of God and distribution of tracts are highly needed nowadays. Sadly, our churches don't invest in all these anymore. They only share flyers to invite new comers to their churches. I can't remember the last time I saw people in an open air crusade gathering. Most churches are chasing money while members are looking for wealth and prosperity. The few tracts I see are the imported ones printed abroad |
Saao:Did he tell anyone's he's coming to achieve anything tangible? He's made his point clear to his gullible followers, that he's coming to fulfil his lifetime ambition. Ali Ndume had said it all. If you want to be president of Nigeria, spread propaganda, tell the people you'd build castle in the ocean for them in one year, lie to them and make them hear sweet things, gather thugs to shut your political enemies and have enough money to bribe your way through. He was indirectly referring to tinubu. I hope Nigerians have learned enough leason in just one year. |
The modern way of sacrificing human blood is killings by stampede. Also, yahoo boys always target a crowded area and ram their cars into them, then zoom off. Once the blood drops, their vows are automatically renewed. Please if a strange organisation approaches your kids school for a boat ride, don't register your wards. If they say there's a major event for them somewhere, don't allow them participate oo. They won't die if you say no. Most of the time, wives always influence attendance of such gatherings by their wards. As the head of the house, object to it cos she will still blame you for not saying no. She wouid say but why didn't you object to it when she was making all the plans for their wards to attend. Be wise. If you're a keke or bike rider, please always watch and be vigilant. My distant relation who lives in Ibadan recounted the ordeal of an okada man living close. He was riding off a major road and yahoo boys went and met him deliberately. They weren't even speeding. They rammed into him and ran away. Thanks to the oke ado traffic. They were chased and caught and brutally dealt with. The man spent one month at Toun Hospital before he regained his consciousness. They made the yahoo boys pay all the bills with police monitoring. |
This is commendable but the apc destroyed Nigeria with propaganda no be small. I can't believe we're buying petrol at over 1k today |
