pongwa:Ewo ni omo ale? You don't have to sound so rude and insulting. It's my opinion and not yours so, learn to respect it. Your loving or choosing both parents over your wife is your opinion, not mine. Hope that sinks |
Good! Lies may have been on a 180km per hr speed for a decade. The truth will overtake it in one day, after take-off. The reason Nigeria isn't moving forward is largely caused by our faulty judicial system. Whenever it comes to twisting the truth, a supposedly intelligent and highly experienced judge will begin to behave like a teenager. Fubara can now begin to dish out the dividends of democracy to the rivers people cos the court wahala has been a great distraction to him. That wike eeh, by the time the mega party is formed he'll become a loner and he will no longer be running with the hares and hunting with the hounds as he's been doing in the pdp and APC. Tinubu will dump him in the end. |
Samantha125:I love my father too. But the topic isn't about choosing between wife and dad but choosing btw wife and mum. Opinions will differ on wife to father's choice. I'll choose my wife over my dad of course |
Samantha125:This is true but mothers are irreplaceable and to both genders. Forget marriage oo. When the chips are down, you'd know how irreplaceable mum's are. I'd choose my mum again and again, over my wife, especially in areas where mums are treasured. My wife will still get the love she deserves, no doubt. My lovely mum died last year and my wife said she'd fill the gap as a mother. She's not even been able to fill 10% of that vacuum that my mama left behind till now. it's almost a year since my mum passed. |
MaziObinnaokija:I'm from alimosho but it's a route to my area. Are you from okija? Do you know the obiejesis? |
AngelicBeing:Yea. Obidient movement is known as the youth movement in kano right now. |
porthouse7:Before end of this year. PDP will be no more . Their flag bearer will come from the south. He's already known and currently being threatened by the ruling party. Someone already known from the north will be his running mate |
porthouse7:A mega party is coming soon. LP,PDP and a large number of the APC, mainly from the north will form it. Details later. I don't want to mention their flag bearer so that the thread doesn't enter 5 pages in less than 1 hr cos apc guys will be busy abusing and attacking as usual ![]() |
Looking4Trouble:Is tinubu youth? . Let me hint you. A mega party will be birthed soon. Watch out! The youth movement is rattling the entire north right now. Kwakwanso and elrufai too said so. |
OlawaleBammie:Which party are you talking about, which i also told you i belonged to? Pls explain |
Is Fouad Alade Oki just seeing this? Why didn't he speak when tinubu used Obasa to dethrone ambode? We all knew Obasa was a super fraudulent man, just as all the members of the Lagos House of Assembly are. The difference is that, their cups are not yet full. They too can be used and dumped like tinubu did to obasa. How the best performing governor after pa jakande in such a short time was removed by Tinubu, using mudashiru obasa to stop funds release for the state's massive projects he embarked on, made me know for sure that karma will visit him someday. After ambode's massive order, I've not seen new Blue BRT buses on Lagos roads again. All those ambode ordered came into the country in batches until the last batch was delivered during the 1st tenure of sanwoolu. Imagine same Obasa querying ambode over those buses as if the latter ate the money, just to find baseless excuses to hack the man. I'm earnestly praying for seyi to vie for Lagos guber, hoping the news to which obasa sharply reacted, which also led to his impeachment wasn't a mere rumour. Then they'd know we're not fools in Lagos. The trap lagosians set for tinubu over his feud with fashola's second term as governor, when we dared him to remove fashola, will catch him this time. I, just like other lagosians voted sanwoolu at the state level to complete the rail project and embark on the 4th mainland bridge which he later dropped after using it to campaign with 8D images, littering the Lagos TV space in 2023 . We're wiser now. By the way, news on Obasa's removal has really gladdened the heart of agege people today. They were jubilating as seen on my way from work this evening. They call him mr billboards cos that's all they see every election with no visible development in place. All the state assembly members are same. Desmond Eliot's six-foot plank bridge easily came to mind. They believe once elected, nobody dares touch them. |
Was it today they realised that Obasa was fraudulent? We've seen that a long time ago. The truth is, once you step on Tinubu's toes, your sins are no longer forgiven. After all, ambode who committed no sin was booted out for not making enough returns to tinubu but used those funds for visible development as seen today. Obasa is being visited by karma. He worked with tinubu to deal with ambode. They still found lies to frame ambode with, as the reason for his removal. Obasa that would only remember agege people a few months to election by sharing bread, patching roads so he could be reelected? He doesn't even live in agege but lekki, another person's constituency. He's not in tune with the yearnings of the agege constituency where he belongs. All you'd see before election is his billboards littering agege roads with no visible development. While all these were going on, the state government and the house of assembly pretended as if they didn't see it. There was a time ambode querried him over the millions of naira monthly deduction. Nothing came out of it as same house members defended him. All of them are thieves. His sin was the manner he attacked seyi tinubu on the news making the the rounds, that he may likely succeed sanwoolu. He said he's more qualified than him which was actually a fact though. Obasa is just an opportunist who should have bowed out at the end of his tenure peacefully and thank God for the opportunity but as we all know, our politicians are never satisfied. They're super greedy. All I can say is, Tinubu's empire won't last forever. Anytime the opposition takes over, which is inevitable cos these crop of politicians can't be there forever, a lot of them will end up in jail. |
WriterNig:So, what about the Ukraine that Russia is fighting, those who happen to be their relations? Are they evil? Smh! |
AngelicBeing:Even if it's an inherited problem, there's nothing God can't do. I remember the story of pastor oyedepo. He was literally nicknamed a tuberculosis boy during his days in Kwara State College of Technology which later became Kwara State Polytechnic. When coughing wildly, his room mates would run outside the building to avoid being infected. One day, he said he went to an open field and prayed to God, that, if truly all the miracles He performed in the bible were true, He should heal him of this tuberculosis too. That was the end of it. Years later, his daughter started coughing same way. He quickly called some men of God to join him in delivering her with prayers. She too was healed. Anytime you hear Bishop oyedepo talk or preach, listen to his voice. The condition affected his voice too. Only those who knew the story would relate. |
AngelicBeing:It could be spiritual too. But you know all these rich people. They believe so much in whatever their doctor tells them and science. |
Bendeco02:But the military never denied those missed targets in those affected areas. What's your point exactly ? |
Zooposki:I know. Are you also aware that, despite building with woods, there are still devastating quakes whenever they happen? In my opinion, since not all the US areas are prone to quakes, it's better to build with bricks. Only the areas susceptible to quakes should be spared, if they can't abandon those areas. I used the Idumota example in my previous post, where fire breaks out every year. Had those affected buildings been built with woods, we may not have had Lagos island today. |
fineboynl:I'm not disputing all that. It's not safe in the face of fire disaster . Just imagine what's happening right now. Take Idumota, a major market in Nigeria for example, where fire breaks out annually. The entire lagos island would have been in rubbles long ago, had they built those houses with woods. |
Kobojunkie:Abi oo. All I know about him is his wife being disturbed and unhappy that their son was also born blind. Every woman will act this way. This is somewhat giving the man some concerns as the wife isn't relating well as she used to do. You know how it feels when a woman truly loves somebody despite his challenge and the child is suffering from same challenge. I pray for peace in their marriage. |
NATIONALPASTOR:Another illiterate is talking. Fire breaks out in California every year. This year's was just the deadliest. If Americans wish to avoid annual wildfire in those desert-prone areas, they must stop building with woods and embrace our pattern of brick buildings in africa and Europe. Woods really helped in the spread of the blaze from house to house. Not even a mud house would be burnt down that way. |
Alliswell248:Yes, a whole country doesn't have to be affected by a grid collapse when it occurs. Like I said in my previous post, it depends on the magnitude. Grid collapse could be either major or minor. Whenever a major collapse occurs, we only hear about it where i live as we're always not much affected meanwhile, millions of homes could be in darkness all around town for days. Those living in some parts of alimosho can relate. We're fed by the grid which supplies power to obasanjo farm in ota called "33". In this current case, 2 major plants were affected. Have you been to the oshogbo plant before? It's massive! |
Alliswell248:Your comment should rather be directed to you as you believe everything said by the apc without verifying. They can't lie about an issue like this, which affected many areas. Who's talking about election here? Are you still in 2023? Mtcheew. Act intelligently once. TCN used the word tripping to trick people like you who can believe anything. Those power plants mentioned by TCN are major ones. It was fair enough they admitted the fact that, parts of lagos were affected. I wasn't the one who said it, go back and read. They restored light in my area this evening on my way to a pharmacy shop. When a grid collapses, depending on the magnitude, some areas will be cut off while some will have light. Many areas in lagos were cut off for several hours so, what's the difference? If you want to prove a point, stop citing election issues here. Lessons have been learned by those who wish to learn and everybody has since moved on. It's time for governance which, affects everyone. |
CharlesofJesus:Imagine. So we also use the so-called improved power to fill our vehicles' tanks and that's why we're not complaining of the 1k pump price abi ? Maybe he's forgotten the fact that vehicles consume fuel more than several households do and we're only enduring their worst tenure in history. I spend up to 95k weekly to fuel my vehicle. This volume alone can serve several households who have generators for same period. Imagine people who own many cars, how much they'd be spending weekly, compared to those who have gen sets which consume less petrol. These guys should keep talking trash while their tenure lasts. Buhari's administration fared better than theirs, despite their pro-democracy claim. The man without mathematics in waec seems to be more intelligent than them. Na only noise dem sabi make, coupled with embezzlement, propaganda and contract price racketeering. Sadly, this guy claimed to be a first class graduate from Ife . Some people's certificates need to be questioned. |
Ofemannnu:No light in many parts of Lagos. Some areas were restored this evening. The TCN also affirmed this issue, in Lagos |
wellmax:e.g, the current government who keeps lying to the public despise the obvious, amen! |
Kobojunkie:Expect more propaganda under Tinubu's administration. That's one thing he's very good at. Unfortunately, he's not dealing with Lagos where his lies can quickly be buried. Rather, he's dealing with the entire nation. At least, the TCN stylishly admitted that there were power cuts to several areas in Lagos by using the word tripping in 2 major power stations. Only his supporters will this lie catch as usual. They're stark illiterates who can accept anything. There was a report which made major headlines yesterday that, despite spending trillions on the power sector, there was no improvement. I knew they'd definitely refute the grid collapse claim, despite the obvious. |
yarimo:Deep down your throat, you know he's saying the truth and that laugh you gave is fake |
Make dem leave the man jare. Even when Oba Adeyemi was crowned king in 1971, there were protests from the camps of about 10 contestants, after which the Oyomesi of that time ruled and he prevailed. |
helinues:But had he said sanwoolu was the best performing governor, you'd have showered encomiums on him instead. As you know, not everybody loves to paint evil with white colour. His stance on the lekki shooting will never be forgotten. Tinubu won't be there forever to back his political ambitions. All the money he's eaten will soon finish and he'd be seeking political relevance once again in order to sustain his lifestyle. He should go and ask Gbenga Daniel who begged for a senatorial position after all had gone. Is it not this life? |
kettykin:Now I'm beginning to understand why Jonathan's administration crumbled. If Reno could be one of his aides, then case closed. |
Nonexisting1:Do most of the normal ladies even wear bra these days? That's another disturbing scene which needs to be addressed. This is one of the reasons I like the military. Dem no born anyone well under their regime with indecent dressing, guys with mad-like hairstyles aren't spared from this. When some who are busty among the ladies are supposed to get bra that would cover their chest fully, they'd go and wear the one that will barely cover their nipples and leave the rest bare. These are the type promoting indecency and should be picked and punished. Our society is becoming something else and our leaders don't just care. |
