DMerciful:True, 30 years is even my suggested completion date |
abc115:You spoilt it by mentioning tinubu. It was Buhari's effort from start to finish. The contractors were busy at work even before and after Tinubu's inauguration. It was a contract which was to be completed at a deadline so, Tinubu had no influence on it. Buhari's government may not have done much. I give him kudos on road construction |
YeyeGbami:Dey play. Libya is bouncing back but silently. They've sent almost all the illegal immigrants back to their countries, including Nigerians |
Thanks to North Africans for covering Africans up. Even Ghana and Gabon dey the list. O ga ooo |
My assembly plant is situated along the lagos-ibadan expressway. E get why . If you don't belong to the lagos landlord's the clique (who won't live forever), you're in trouble |
motymop:I've spoken my mind. You sounded in your long message as if those who built there built illegally, including landmark, the beauty of lagos beaches |
motymop:With all these your epistle, why is the government paying a compensation of millions of dollars to them around that place, if those lands were acquired illegally? Can any government pay compensation on illegal structures demolished? You're one of the problems of your generation. Do have a rethink. |
iSense247:Yes, you're right but our politicians aren't futuristic. They only aspire to get there and steal and not to serve. There's a place in Germany called Bad Ems, under which there's a small town called Gackenbach. The place is a replica of lokoja. They rake-in millions of euro yearly from tourism in that place alone. Hotels also sell well. There's an elevator that starts from the beginning of the mointain, up to the mountain top, where you find hotels and fun parks. The top is as flat as lokoja mountain top, where they have the confluence fm owned by Tunde Ogbeha. I had driven to that place before, even snapped the Lord Lugard's house there. Yahaya bello saw all these potentially but looked the other way and he called himself a dynamic youth governor. He just acted like his predecessors. He needs to be sent to jail by stealing the kogi state's money. Politics in Nigeria is business oriented. 99% of our politicians cand survive without Politics. |
iSense247:Your last paragraph makes me believe we're on same page, especially the last sentence of it. I've been to UAE several times. The Jabel Ali Port, which is the 9th busiest sea port in the world is man made. For economic reasons, some steps can be taken in order to counterbalance this. Jabel Ali port location used to be a desert before they invited the ocean by dredging. The ocean was several kms away from that place. It was as far as lagos to Ondo state. They achieved this through dredging which took years. Today, its the main port serving the entire Middle east( and that was the economic advantage they foresaw). I'm not from the south east but I think if dredging could be done on the river Niger, which already had a sea channel unlike the jabel ali port before formation, this can be achieved too, more easily. Lagos port will be decongested. I've been to America too, several times. I know the NY port. America didn't concentrate all their ports in NY. With dredging, Lokoja port would serve the north, onitsha port will serve the SE, Koko Port will complement the activities in Onne, Ondo port will complement that of Lagos and spread development and industrialisation. The federal govt doesn't even need to be fully involved in these. With PPP, they will achieve this. For effective management and increased revenue, they should hand the ports over to private companies , like they did nitel in those days, the decision which Nigerians will remain thankful for. See the jobs it had created, what of revenues it had generated to the FG over the years? Before then, a gateman at nitel owned mansions. They kept shortchanging the FG. |
frankson1:Anambra. Hope you're happy now |
iSense247:Which region is landlocked? Have you been to UAE before?UAE that dredged to the ocean bed and invited a pull of ocean to their doorstep and turned it into a world class sea port? River Niger was better, compared to the arid( desert) land where they created a pathway for the ocean to reach them. Yaradua was a president Nigeria never had. He approved the dredging of the river Niger up to lokoja. I remember that day. Successive governments simply abandoned the project. We're just not ready for growth in Nigeria yet. In less than a decade, they'd make double that investment in profit if they can dredge. It can be extended to Lokoja, which happens to be Anambra's neighbor . I've been to the river Niger spot in lokoja where there's confluence hotel. I once saw a boat that came from onitsha and returning with passengers. Tribalism, bigotry and the likes have caused Nigeria a lot of setbacks, which had caused several nations who couldn't wear our shoes to leave us behind. Sadly, we're yet to learn any lesson from it. This cuts across all tribes. No one is exempted. |
Even baba go slow regime is much better than that of Tinubu, the self acclaimed Mr magic |
People, Google witch doctor by Patricia majelika. Indomie generations weren't born when she samg that song. SA and witchcraft with rituals eeh! |
Waste of resources it is. Why not use the money to create more sea ports to decongest lagos port. Create one in Ondo, modernise the one at Koko in delta state and another one in the S/E. The ROI would have been massive. But he won't do that because his company hitech would lose out of the project. He won't see anything to eat. |
What do you expect from the corrupt propagandist? Someone who had been using the Lagos-owned airport and 4th mainland bridge to campaign for nearly 30 years now, on approaching every election time in Lagos. The airport, we no see, the 4th mainland bridge, we no see. We only see them in 3Ds ,8Ds etc. By the way, has the UAE visa ban been lifted now? What of the Qatar's investors coming to Nigeria? Are they here already? Anyone who believes the coastal road will exceed 2 states in his tenure must still be under the bondage of his lies. The lagos-ibadan expressway, that is less than 200km, which Jonathan started is yet to be completed, 9 years after. That coaster road project, after being awarded to Tinubu's company called hitech, won't be completed in 3 decades. |
emkz:In your opinion? It doesn't count. Those invaders were sponsored and it won't stop him |
helinues:The one he did was destroyed by your party bad belle people and the same went to tell Nigerians the borehole wasn't working. If he goes to kano to sink boreholes, it will still be sabotaged. |
Hustling won't kill a man, hard work won't kill a man, success won't kill a man, educational background and plenty of degrees garnered wont kill a man. The only thing everyman must be running away from is sex(not women). Sex will wreck what a man has been brooding for his entire life and could dash his future and hope for ever. Have business dealings or relationship with women and let it end there. Hire them but with no strings attached. They're not at fault 99% of the time as they're not the ones forcing men into it. They're human beings created by God but men need to always be careful. |
BERNIMOORE:You spoilt it by mentioning tinubu. Tinubu in edo, lol |
Most of those who voted him didn't know him, including the Northerners who fell for his muslim-muslim ticket tricks . Come and ask us in lagos. That's why he didn't win here. We shouted, our elders did, but they didn't hear I always wonder why they always tag Obi, who said people shouldn't vote him based on his faith but based in his credibility, a religous bigot and spare tinubu, the real bigot. See as his dogs are barking at asari now, but when he supported tinubu, they showered praises on him. Anyone sho says the basic truth about tinubu is their enemies. Una go get sense someday |
jjcena:As a yorubaman, I see this as a Greek gift so, don't feel sad yet. It won't take less than 2 decades to complete and by then, we don dey old. Come to lagos and see how long it took to get where they are today on the lagos rail project. 1999 till date is how many years now? 4th mainland bridge tinubu has been using to campaign to steal our votes every 4 years has been talked about several times. As I speak, they're still on masterplan brouhaha. Lagos-ibadan expressway nko? This is the 3rd administration and it's not yet completed. How many years is that? They wat to use the coastal road project to steal money by inflating the contract 3 times its actual cost. Hitech, which is Tinubu's construction firm will get a lion's share. They will now win gullible souls to vote them in 2027 again by pointing to the road project which will cut across many regions where they have low support as part of their achievement. If you fall for it, na you sabi |
Reflect7:See this one. You know nothing ok? We do projects too, even cross-border ones. All you hear is audio. Did I hear you say such news won't come on NL? News fly like wildfire from the mouths of your likes, stop lying. You'd not hesitate to jump here on NL to post. I remember when you guys were jubilating over false hope on lifting of the UAE visa ban. So, that lifting takes ages to perfect too? Lol Enough said! |
SoNature:Imagine the NCAA boss appointment yesterday, who bought a Toyota Landcruiser for himself. |
Iremis:What happened to those deals he secured in dubai, quatar? Has Emirates resumed flight to nigerian route yet? What of visa ban, has it been lifted now? Stop jubilating over deceit. Investors aren't daft. Dey play. |
Vulcan24:Thanks for the info. I was actually talking of Prado. The 4.0L VXL is my target. I'm comparing prices. What year/edition did you quote? I don't like 2023 model for a reason. 2021/2022 is OK. I'd be in the US soon and survey too. Whatever it is, I'd revert . Thanks |
What happened to his inaugural speech....subsidy..is gaan?. Since I've been traveling to cotonou, I've never heard of petrol scarcity or queues, Kenya too. Hopeless government deceiving their hopeless supporters |

Hi. I saw your pm request. I don't respond to pms unfortunately. How did your visa app go and what was the pm about? Do you have any concerns you'd like to share? You may mail me @ imperialflavour@aol.com. |
popweezy:In fact, to say I'm speechless is an understatement. Go to Benin Republic where they claimed they were diverting our petrol to. There's fuel everywhere. They import petrol too. I wonder how we got here as a nation. Nigeria isn't the Africa's largest economy anymore. Check it |
In his voice...subsidy is gaan . Why are we still experiencing fuel scarcity and long queues as seen across the nation today? Propaganda,.Propaganda and Propaganda. His supporters must learn by force. Yesterday, it was dstv hiking their subscription and they started screaming and I know why. They don't joke with football. When multinationals were leaving in droves, the didn't bother cos they're so myopic and jobless. Now, electricity tariff hike is on the front burner and they're kicking. By the time they can't afford the new electricity tariff, and petrol isn't there to fuel generator to play game lottery and dstv subscription is steering them in the face, they'd understand the consequences of making a bad choice. |
SoNature:Tinubu is the major problem of Nigeria, not even buhari. He was same person who went and picked buhari and singly flew him in his jet all over and campaigned for him, spreading lies and propaganda in 2015, just to earn people's vote. He went as far as the Chatham house to redeem the former dictator's image in the eyes of the world Now, the propaganda continues. Tinubu gave 25kUSD to every delegate, just to win the primaries. In a decent country, he'd be arrested, same as atiku |
Patch-patch government |
Ijaya123:Stop lying. Only a factory will pay that amount in that location. I live in an estate under 33" in lag and I don't pay more than 30k monthly even with the AC constantly on whenever we are around. We enjoy light up to 22hrs daily. At times, light won't blink in 3 days |
