It appears the TRV applications submitted in October are now being processed, given the info I read here of recent about those who submitted in Oct. Yesterday, my cousin who submitted late October received his PPR. He's been to Germany and France once (on a single trip). He told me of his TRV application in December. If you applied earlier than October but yet to receive any update,contact IRCC for the status of your application. Maybe from early April, they'd begin treating November application. ednut1:Good question. When dollar was soaring, goods were produced or imported at high costs. They need to be sold out first. You can't buy or produce a commodity at NGN50 for instance and want to sell it at 30 naira just because the dollar has fallen. Until those goods are exhausted from the various storehouses, their prices will remain the same. Before Nigerians can actually feel the impact of the appreciated naira, hoping it continues, it will take a quarter or more, becasue naira had hit the rocks since tinubu floated it in May 2023. If he can manage to bring the naira down to 702, which was the value he met it at the parallel market, the economic improvement will be rapid . 4 Likes |

helinues:I'm happy the naira is regaining its strength as a patriotic Nigerian but Tinubu should do us a favour by bringing the naira back to the 702 at the parallel market as he met it in May 2023. If he now wants to prove to Nigerians that he's Mr builder, he should improve it further far below 702 to at least, 350, not necessarily the 250 that the apc met it, which they said was not OK in 2015. |

Here in Nigeria, na mungo Park wey dey pad him age, just to be president. While some african countries are steadily advancing in all spheres, the giants of Africa is busy sleeping. They're leaving her behind in droves. O ma se ooo. If you're in your early 40s and a supporter of those in power, those who got there by padding their age and you're reading this news, you should feel sad cos your future (which is supposed to be now) has been mortgaged before your very eyes. If I was told 10 years ago that Nigeria would end up this way, I'd not have hesitated to doubt it. We really had a better nation during the pdp days. These ones just came out of propaganda and destroyed what our past leaders had built and I blame Jonathan for being a weakling. Subsidy is a scam....but now they pay in trillion monthly USD being 250 naira was not good but today, 1usd is 1,500 naira 16bn usd spent on power plant was a scam under obj...but today over 7.5bn usd was spent by buhari on pwer transmission alone yet, there's blackout everywhere. We will crush boko haram in 4 years yet, they've grown wings and formed factions called bandits and militias men. We will ensure chibok girls are rescued and prevent further kidnap yet, over 2,000 students have been kidnapped since they assumed office and victims family had to contribute to pay ransom. Chibok girls are still in captivity in large number. Nigerians are the most gullible in the world. Just tell them sweet things and you'd win elections.
