IAMBOSS1990:You are welcome bro. Jesus Himself confirms your last paragraph in the book of Matthew 22:36-40, as the highest commandment when the people asked him, after loving God, wholeheartedly. Your neighbour is whoever you're able to extend that hand of love to, it could be maids, the man or woman next t door who's in dire need, a common man on the streets. Nobody knows what tomorrow will bring. Sadly, many Christians only do good where they expect something in return or wherever people will see them and shower praises on them for it. By doing this, they've received their rewards already. It's the bible who says this, not me. As an undergraduate, I almost dropped out cos funding was nowhere to come by. My parents and uncles did their best. There was this man whom God used for me. About 15 years later, things took a bad turn for him. God used me to relocate him to the US. Now his story had changed forever for good. He's built a wonderful house in Lag, which only big boys in Nigeria could dabble into. This man was selling bread in front of his wife's make-shift container tailoring shop at some point. The attached was the message he sent to me on my birthday recently. Imagine he turned his face away from me that time, would I have ever thought of him? There are several people like him whom God has used me to elevate. Guess what? God has never stopped blessing me. When you Heed his instructions, you get your reward, simple. Good health is one of them, no be everything be money. Many don't even know they're blessed because of poor people around them

RecentHistory:Don't mind the moniker jare. LP is the NLC's party, period. If Ajaero didn't campaign for their own LP, I wonder which party would he have campaigned for. If not for tribalism and religous bigotry which had now taken Nigeria 60 years backwards, Nigerian workers nationwide ought to have thrown their wits behind PO, a formidable figure, who simply came to contest under their own party. You can Imagine the Lagos Chapter of NLC, led by that vocal woman openly supporting tinubu? I didn't pity her, weeks back when I saw her raising a placard in that nationwide peaceful protest by NLC on channelstv that there's hunger in the land. She got what she wanted. In the past week, I saw at 2 different spots where people were seen roasting big rats(God is my witness). I've never seen such before, except in villages where you see bushes and forests everywhere. In lagos, those rats feed from sewage and gutters. That's what Nigerians eat now. Are we progressing? |
Nice question. If your maid is looking odd among your children and you call yourself a Christian father or mother, you're a just deceiving yourself. You're worst than an infidel. If your neighbour is hungry while you're living large and uncaring, your employer only depends on their small salary to live while they contribute hugely towards your company's growth, you're not doing enough as a christian. If you like, make church your 2nd home. One sickness could wipe off everything before your very eyes. ...in as much as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. Matthew 25:40 I had an uncle, now late. He had a maid whom the wife always treated unfairly. My uncle would always tell his wife to be kind to her cos nobody knows tomorrow but she'd say shebi we're paying her. The maid dared not near them at every event. Being a devout Christian, he was doing his best to ensure the maid didn't feel odd among his children. At times, the woman would seize the clothes he bought for her, just because its same price and design as those bought for his children. One day, the wife took ill. She was flown abroad and operated upon. Eventually, she died. It was this maid who took care of all their children until they all travelled out for further studies. She said she'd not have stayed, but for my uncle's kindness. She cleared her waec once, so intelligent. Meanwhile my uncle said he'd never remarry. He's never a promiscuous man. One day, he approached his brothers and sought his advice if he could consider marrying the maid as she's used to them already. She was a school cert holder as of then but he said he could train her up to the university level because she had acted like a mother to their children all those years. The day my uncle proposed to her, she ran away. She said she was not worthy to occupy the shoes but later her people came with her to my uncle's place, apologised for her being childish. In a nut shell, he married her. This lady became a graduate, had 2 male children for my uncle. The late wife had 3 females. The ladies settled down overseas. The male guys are in their late 30s and early 40s now, and are very successful today. One of them is a fintech giant, who needs no introduction in the industry. If only we can follow Christ's doctrines, the world will be a better place. Its the people, who will describe you, not you carrying Christianity on your head. |

SojWORLDWIDE:carry your lie commot for here. Naira has gained more. Mtcheew. I'm not a fan of the ruling party. All I want from them is to correct all the wahala they caused to our Naira

helinues:We don't detest Muslims. Stop this. We have Muslims in my family as a yorubaman. Our mentor in the family,.late jakande was a Muslim. He was former governor of Lagos. My aunties married Muslims. I have lots of Muslim friends across tribes and ethnicity. I decided not to practice Islam and faith is by choice. What we hated was same faith ticket, which a lot of reasonable Muslim faithfuls also kicked against. Now, those who fell for it are realising it too late that it's all a deceit. |
It's possible, if you're independent with brains |
Beshibeshi:It appears like a footnote on every letter. |
If anyone told me Nigeria would be like this 10 years ago, I'd doubt it. Sad! Omo ęlęran to jeegun |
helinues:What would you say of Federal police being used to snatch ballot boxes and intimidate opponents by the same governors . No better time to start than now. You belong to the school of thoughts with those who once said Nigeria wasn't ripe for using atm in banks decades ago, as they did in developed countries because it would be bugled by armed robbers. Today, there are atms even inside malls and schools in Nigeria yet, nobody has come to remove or take them away. Learn from the conduct of the amotekun corps. Many expected them to fail so they'd use it as a proof that we're not ripe for state police in Nigeria. Instead, they've saved lives since their formation. I see them everywhere I go within the SW, even in hard to reach places |
ManirBK:100% true. Google is your friend. They supply a larger percentage of our cooking gas needs They supply a larger percentage of our livestock consumption They're the largest supplier of onions, potatoes and beans. The moment they were sanctioned, Nigeria never remained same again. If you use gas at home, check when the price rose by over 100% if you can remember. This was immediately after the sanctions were imposed. The last time I checked, Nigeria was the one shouting ebi npawon ooo. We never heard anything like this of Niger despite the sanctions. Any negative news you hear about them is nothing but propaganda and we know the baba of propaganda, who said truck loads of foods were being smuggled into Niger lol, when Niger no even send us. That's why they went and started a tripartite state and called the bluff of ecowas. They should have been begging to rejoin instead, had they felt the impact of the sanctions. I wonder where the food was coming from when farmers had been sacked from their farmlands by boko boys. Only a few knows Niger has a functional refinery swf. |
Good news. Prices of Cooling Gas and foodstuffs will drop sharply soon. They were our major suppliers of cooking gas, beans, onions, potatoes and livestock until the sanctions were applied by Tinubu-led ecowas. The prices rose sharply immediately after the unwarranted sanctions and we were buying cooking gas at over double its price. I respect them for the r bravery |
Angelfrost:That's right. They have all it takes to accommodate immigrants but when the resources are limited, only a little can be done. I expect them to rise to the occasion asap. |
It's expected. The surge is overwhelming |
After you have made them multi billionaires already by your foolish policy of floating the naira? Dey play |
No lie. But would the Dubai man ever listen? You had a privilege to be vice president of the most populous black nation for 8 years yet, you wan become president. What exactly did you forget in aso villa that you want to go and pick? |
stimorcc:7,500usd is fine. It's also above 10,000CAD. I applied for my approved visa with 7,000usd. Since your other account is active, you may move the funds there and state the purpose in the appropriate column on the funds transfer form ( e.g, travel expenses for the proposed Canada trip). Since it's an active account as you said, it's expected that more transactions will still take place. |
stimorcc:Before submitting any bank statements, ask yourself, if airfare, hotel bills, feeding and conference fees( in case you've not paid) are taken from this account, will whatever that is left be enough for the running of your company, pay staff salary, overheads, etc sustainably, esp if your company or that of your employer will be responsible for sponsoring your trip.. If your answer is no, pls don't try it. If its a savings or salary account you're presenting, after removing the expenses mentioned above, will the remaining be enough for family's regular upkeep? If your answer is no, please think twice. Scrutinize your documents yourself, as if you're the VO before applying for any visa. It helps a lot. |
Namaster:Do you think the fed govt is doing this genuinely? It's because of the money the UN will give them, which they'd eventually share that's making them send troops there. Troops wey never reach to defeat boko haram for kaduna alone |
FreeStuffsNG:All I was trying to let you know, which you have failed to accept is that, It had started before now and banks had been using it to scrutinize applicants since last year already as I also experienced this. It is not a thing to celebrate as you made it seem in your previous comment or post. Even with the TCC, you will still not get any fx due to the ridiculously long queue coupled with a fraction of the CBN's weekly fx allocations to commercial banks. You could wait for a whole year and you would still get nothing. I am not the type who would be doing copy and past but as you have refused to accept the truth, maybe you should read the below. They were 2023 news. Happy reading. https://www.arise.tv/nigerian-banks-demand-tax-clearance-certificate-on-fx-transactions/#google_vignette https://businesspost.ng/economy/banks-insist-no-tax-clearance-certificate-no-fx-allocation-for-bta-others/#google_vignette https://guardian.ng/business-services/form-a-applicants-to-submit-three-year-tax-clearance-certificates-effective-today/ |
FreeStuffsNG:Instead of becoming a doubting Thomas, why not just try and be verifying things first? Google is there for free if you have data. I travelled to Hungary last year. Early this year,.I travelled again to another destination. I have a good relationship woth my bank. They're the first who told me of the tax clearance thing last year. We approached firs and got it done, still no fx allocation from the cbn. The queue was ridiculously long. Na aboki bail me out I'm the end. Same this year. My inlaws had their tax clearance already and just last month, they couldn't get fx from the bank for their PTA. We had to go to Allen ave, to get fx for them. |
FreeStuffsNG:Dey play. This didn't just start today if you travel regularly. I first heard of it last year and most banks have been using this as a means of scrutinising applicants. Even after the whole stress of meeting up, you'd still not get anything. You'd be forced to leave the perpetually long queue and source your fx at the BDC. You can't hold them when the bank tells you that the cbn isn't sending fx allocation or what they received couldn’t get anywhere |
With all these stress, you'd still not get anything. Nobody would tell you when to leave the very long queue |
Debbieeeeeee:Maybe the lagos office was overwhelmed at some point, which was why some applications were moved to Nairobi for processing . My TRV has always been processed by their lagos office since 2006 when we used to appear in person for document submission at their Anifowoshe Lagos Office as a boy, even till a decision was made on my application recently, still same office. I got to know through their responses to my mails. There was a time ( I wouldn't know how true) that they said some Nigerian applications were moved to an Asian country to process. You know some unverified information you get on the Internet. The BVL and PPR same day. I didn't check that mail for some time cos it wasn't my regular mail. I almost missed it. |
That's more than devilish. The thing you use to give birth to her is what you're abusing her with? That's inhuman and those doing that are worse than animals. I'd rather go out(God forbid that I even try this option) than abuse my own daughter. There's a terrible curse on whoever does that. |
Debbieeeeeee:Very true. At times when people say Nairobi,I always get confused. TRV has always been processed by their Nigeria office. Each time I sent them mails on the status of my application, they had never referred me to Nairobi and it's same email address I've been using for nearly 10 years now. They'd definitely respond to me. When I heard people talk Can Plus here, that as a usa visa holder, your application won't take long to process and I could also confirm this via people's testimonies here, I was worried at some point, why my application took longer, despite being in that category so, I mailed their Lagos office. I also filled a webform. I didn't even choose if I was applying from outside Canada or not and they responded that my application was being processed in their Lagos office in the mail i received, apart from the one sent by the IRCC to corroborate this. A few days later, I received my PPR.

KingMack:Unfortunately, I don't accept DMs. If you have any concerns, let's bare it all here. We'll all advise as appropriate. Thanks |
slimmsyyetty:Gbam! My long epistles were put up for such a reason as this . You can imagine several silent applicants who had fallen victim too. He/she who has ears, let him/her hear. I don't know how best this applicant can package his application and the VO will be convinced. So sad! You're paying someone out of laziness, someone whom you can even lecture on visa application packaging, just because they told you they're an agent, lol. What a fraudulent arrangee. A Dr applicant who is an O'L holder in a real life, SMH!. I know someone who can never enter America for the rest of his life again due to an agent's involvement in his application. He used a credit card which didn't belong to him to register a conference for the applicant and his visa was approved. On getting to POE at DC, the CBP called the conference organisers who said there was a fraudulent charge on the CC used and they've sent him several mails to provide a different card or pay by T/T but he didn't respond so, they deregistered him. Meanwhile the email address the agent used to register belonged to the latter. He was receiving those mails but ignored them. The guy was arrested, put inside a cold cell for 2 days and deported. The Applicant had gone to hire immigration lawyers recently, after several refusals . He had paid the lawyers heavily. Meanwhile this innocent man paid the agent the naira amount as agreed. But the eediot went and registered a conference for him with a card that didn't even belong to him. This happened nearly 2 decades ago. |
KingMack:Your passport, proof of payment for the biometrics and the IRCC's Instruction Letter for your biometrics. You may also print a copy of the mail you received for this purposes and take it along with you. |
The era of sharing kerosene as palliatives and dividends of Democracy is gone forever in Abia. I pray other states emulate this man. All we need from our leaders is an enabling environment to make business grow. Labour party, always leading by example. There are several moribund infrastructure in many states but their governors simply concentrate on whatever they can steal while in office. Kogi shall be free someday..that's another african tourist destination |
mamawa123:Don't be angry. I know you've complained before but I just ignored. At times you need to expatiate, to stop some gullible peeps from going astray in some cases, a sentence or 2 may not suffice. I do understand that, not everybody has that ample of time to do that. It's not an easy task too but seen as a sacrifice. |
735i:The rate of the naira in 2015 to the dollar was 216. How much is it today? Multiply 216 by 2( that's 100% depreciation already. Today, its over 1500. That rate quoted was even low sef. If you multiply 216 by 6, it will still not give you the current exchange rate. |
