These are the people destroying Nigeria. IMF, Bloomberg etc. Where's the billions when investors and businesses are shutting down with multinationals leaving in numbers? |
AnambraPeople:A fi sponsored post naa. Cos this praise-singing makes no sense lol |
This Life Is Truly Vanity
Many people don't even understand the meaning of vanity. They often attack or mock people when some celebs or billionaires are seen celebrating new mansions, new jets, expensive cars , etc and some people call it vanity. In real sense, vanity is when you acquire all and still end up 6ft down there, laid to rest same way a nonentity or a poor man is laid to rest. If life isn't vanity, those billions of dollars inside the vault should have woken the dead billionaire up. When you die, you remember nothing about life again. When a billionaire falls sick, he forgets about all the good life he had lived, he doesn't even remember anything as he's in serious pain. The only thing he'd be praying for is either healing, so he can keep living or death. That's why I always urge people to be kind to others with their resources when alive. Cos anytime the end comes to that life of yours, the only benefit enjoyed from those billions you've worked for is the food you've eaten which had nourished your body. All those mansions and billions will be shared by those who didn't work for it. Then you'd face judgement on how you lived your life I wonder what life is, if not vanity. |
Ogiame:Your body only dies while your soul lives forever |
Sheuns:You're just wasting your time. We should just endure the lies and propaganda of tinubu while his term ends. Only his gullible supporters will fall for this as usual. How an old man like him lies over everything is appalling. |
Zxcvbnmghtr:You're probably one of those who carried the doctored video upon your head. Education of the mind is the best anyone can have. Tell me, who's a religous bigot between someone who was spreading a muslim-muslim candidacy and the one who said election mustn't be seen as war? Your conscience will judge you on that. The consequence is what is stating you in the face today |
TheDemola:They blame pdp so teeey, they're now blaming themselves . Directionless peeps |
Where was the then national leader, now president? . Shameless ruling party playing opposition in a factional way within same party Shioor ![]() |
Enugurangers:Sanwoolu is at the venue where they're raining tributes on wigwe family. Tune to channelstv right now and watch. Sanwoolu confessed that wigwe financed his election and later approached him when he became.governor that he'd be willing to help his givernment at any capacity. That said, every contractor sources loan to do projects. Our company does that too. When you need loan, you approach the bank as well. No government project or contract in Nigeria would skip the procurement process, no matter how small, except you want to go to jail. It's a rigorous process. Contract can be influenced on a man know man basis, yes! But I don't see anything wrong here. Except some Jobless people just want to make a mole out of the mountain. There are millions of dollar projects here in Lagos awarded to various contractors and they had to approach the bank for facilities. Some were said to have been inflated 2 times more than the actual value. All political office holders are guilty of this. The rail project is a good example. Of course, you can't win such a contract without some level of influence. |
Baba wey don cross 90 tey tey . Prof Soyinka knows better.Happy birthday ebora owu. Age gracefully sir |
Baba apapa will now run to tinubu his sponsor to dabaru Labour party to distort the judgement . Abeg when LP receives that money, they should give him back to buy beta clothes and shaving blade to shave that his tattered irungbon |
Maybe drugs and all manner of energy drinks had killed your sex life before meeting and marrying the poor girl. Several homes today are suffering consequences of same mess |
dettolgel:They'd never allow census in the modern day Nigeria to take place. They'd keep frustrating it. Buhari tried but failed. The election that brought in Jonathan as president had exposed them all. They tried to use religion to frustrate him up north, even telling them in the mosques to vote out Jonathan and elect Buhari and we call ourselves same Nigerians. If you look at the electoral map of 2011, Jonathan didn't see meaningful votes in the north. It was the middle belt and the entire south that elected him. The same man was said to have favoured them more than their kinsman as president. Sultan of sokoto confirmed it many times. They always blindly call Obi a religous bigot despite making his point clear in that audio chat with oyedepo. They doctored the audio and cut off some areas where he spoke about religous sentiments. They now left the portion where he mentioned war, meanwhile that wasn't what he meant. He said election isn't supposed to be war but trust their gullible followers, they put that word on their heads and used it to label Obi and spread the doctored audio. I wonder which candidate is a religous bigot between tinubu, who was busy preaching a muslim-muslim ticket everywhere and forcing it on Nigerians and someone who said election isn't supposed to be war. When I listened to the complete version of the audio, I simply shook my head for Nigerians. Now, breakfast is served . Everyone must have a bite of it. The earlier we stop tribalism and religous sentiments when choosing a leader, the better for us as a nation. I wonder if the same faith ticket is now solving the problems of Muslim faithfuls in this hard time |
GoodSpirit:Jevinik meals now start from 14k, with natural fruit juice of choice. What I used to have with 4,500. . Meanwhile, I walked into a tastee fried chicken outlet at opebi last week and had a full meal for 4,900. The chicken sauce still dey my mouth as we speak, lol. I'd visit there more often now, a good alternative to jevinik |
slimmsyyetty:Gracias |
banku:Isn't that a good reason the min wage should be high? The more people you feed, the higher the expenses , except you want to throw them into hunger, as seen in Nigeria today |
I've seen why Kenyans always attack us each time we brag that we're giants of Africa ![]() |
Debbieeeeeee: ![]() |
I've stopped going to Jevinik lol |
Debbieeeeeee:Oh yeah. Being elderly, I didn't want them to encounter many stops and the difference btw basic and flexi was much during booking. That was why booked it. That said, it was the cheapest that time despite costing millions lol. The manager only allowed me to pay for one extra luggage while they checked the remaining in. I'm a tourist per excellence (that's the title I gave myself) even though my mission has always been business-based. I love enjoying every moment of my trips. If you love tourisms, try Emirates. I always enjoy their 19hr nonstop long haul flights to Los Angeles from DXB and other far destinations including Ca. They treat you like an egg. I've flown their A380 double decked aircraft a couple of times which has the capacity to convey up to 700 passengers at a time. They check you in their 3 star hotel in dubai first before connecting the NA flight. This gives you the opportunity to enter dubai cos they'd give you a pass to enter and that pass is free...free UAE visa oo. You're driven in their bus across the city to their emirates hotel. Their dinner buffet is out of this world. But for people who don't like all that, a direct flight is better. I've flown BA, American Airlines, Turkish, Qatar, KLM, etc but have never seen such a pampering airline as the Emirates, my opinion based on the experience though. |
Debbieeeeeee:I see. I bought a basic economy ticket for both of them and I learnt the seat type booked didn't have that service attached to it. Again, I got them 2 luggage each of 32kg ( that's 64kg in total for each of them) . But on getting to the airport, they dropped one each and said they're only entitled to one 32kg luggahe each, cos they are on basic economy. I had to drag this with them until it was almost time for boarding before their Manager now intervened. The experience wasn't a palatable one and I hope my emirates could be allowed to fly again. |
allen113:Sadly, these people you talk about don't have any business with the social media talk more of reading whatever people say here. They don't even have android phones. So your comment doesn't hold water. Nigeria is in the worst crisis ever. We've not seen anything yet. I hope the government would forsatall the impending lawless act, which the police and military would find difficult to curb. Each time I take a walk in the street, people who always ask me to buy food for them.dont have a phone. Those are the people you see looting warehouses |
Rephrased...PRESIDENT TINUBU RETURNS TO NIGERIA AFTER POLITICAL JAMBOREE, OP ED AND HANDSHAKES WITH QATARI SHEIKS. We're still waiting for the UAE visa ban and investors news after months of spreading fake news. Those calling this generation who are already growing grey beards leaders of tomorrow decades ago destroyed this country. Sadly, they've not vacated the space, padding their age to remain there. I remember a day I visited my brother at UI and one guy brought readers digest to his room with a cover page advertising Dubai in which one man stood by a carmel with a caption Visit Dubai. Everyone was just laughing saying, who would visit dubai. Today, a desert had become a renowned city. If you've not been to dubai today as a celeb or a leader, you've not been anywhere. They turned desert into a modern city. Dubai is now obeying the law of geography due to human activities. It now rains there as normal. I experienced the first rain during my visit in 2015. See jubilation everywhere. UAE and Qatar have oil but utilised the proceeds. Nigeria has oil but the proceeds were squandered. It took UAE and Qatar discipline to get to where they are today, which Nigeria lacks. We now go to them for investment talks. What a pity. I hope we won't be visiting Benin Republic for same purpose one day. The rate at which that country is developing secretly is massive any doubting Thomas should pay a visit. You'd think you're in Europe. Their currency has more value than ours now |
Debbieeeeeee:Not always free. Try it with delta naw . My parents travelled last month 18th. We booked 3 months ahead and paid for wheelchair |
Ashirioluwa:Good point. That's why I made my points clear to her. Even the one I risked, despite being a close relation was done with caution. I made sure she checked in all her luggage by herself. My help stopped behind the check in counter. I also assisted with the kids. On arrival at destination, she cleared her luggage by herself while I assisted with loading at the carousel point and moved it to the point where she took an uber. Since then, I had vowed never to render such help again. Not even my relation would ask me to carry anything and they know me for that. |
Anguldi:Free kę . Even if you want to change your economy seat to the one with wider legroom, na to pay oo |
TITILOLA88:OK. She doesn't need any company. Just go to Airfrance website and book a wheel chair for her, from lagos to her destination in Canada and pay. A mobility assistant will handle the rest. Someone has also suggested this. She wouldn't have to go thru the rigours of queues as she'd be checked in faster. Hope this works. |
AkporsMechanical:Sadly, you won't get good responses here. You should have consulted an elder instead. A large percentage of members here are kids. By the way, what's your discipline? |
officialwdhtv:OP, you forgot Albarka Air, owned by Col. Buba Marwa and First Nation Owned by Tinubu which took my 25k one-way flight ticket fee from Abuja to lagos but never refunded me till today. God dey. I wonder how someone who can't manage a company successfully will be thinking of managing a whole country. Had his alpha beta not been a conduit pipe, it would have folded up since. |
mytime24:You're right. That's why someone needs to begin to tell the males among them to save towards old age. Save from endorsement, acting, goodwill, etc. Most of them make money but still squander it on alcohol, women and drugs....I mean all of them irrespective of tribe. Female ones among them always see someone who would help them. Men hardly see one. They're mostly on their own. If only Nigerians could end tribalism, we will all be better for it. An endowment fund can be created for our veterans who are in dire need . We'd get there. It begins with all of us. |
I don't see selfish gains here on the part of the NLC, as ignorantly yearned by the apc supporters. All the points are geared towards the better life of the masses. We shouldn't forget that the minimum wage wouid also affect all the civil servants in Nigeria which constitute a large percentage of the Nigerian population. Hardly would you find a home without a civil servant. The min. wage would have stemmed the wave of hunger if met in full. That tax waiver would have favoured me as a person...speaking for myself but as you all know, its audio as usual just to shut the Nigerian SMEs mouth. |
Savedday2:We never saw endsars coming. Looting that time was massive everywhere. Were u in Nigeria that time? In Nigeria, nothing is impossible |
