Na wetin our eyes dey see for lagos since 1999 be this, wey we dey endure. Asiri won ti ntu. Now everyone can see why we didn't vote tinubu in lagos with his agbero style of politics. At the state level, we will weed them off come 2027. We've endured long enough. They're only interested in sharing money, then reel out propaganda to make people think they're working

But I heard from my friend working at the embassy that those who signed the suspension of natasha akpoti may face visa ban as the embassy is planning to recall their visa for cancellation. That's the reason for the recent drama at senate denying the obvious and call for the appearance of apkabio and natasha before them. USA na your mate? It's only in Nigeria we drag women on the floor

PoliticsRe: Dangote Receives Fresh Crude Supply From NNPCL As Pump Price Drops To N815/litre by Eriokanmi: 7:00pm On Mar 15, 2025
PressMyButton:
Jagaban, the game changer. When the Fake news came out last week that NNPCL has halted supply of crude oil to local refineries, wailers ran with it, even when NUPRC came out to deny the fake news and set the record straight, saying a new contract is ongoing after the expiration of the present one, wailers were still on their keyboards arguing blindly and celebrating the fake news. Being a bitter person is a wreck to the soul.
Jagaban is the best t have happened to Nigeria, the decision to remove the subsidy fraud was the best ever. We now witnessing price war and we see more investors applying for license to build more refineries.
We saw Niger Republic junta came to beg Tinubu to help supply them fuel to cushion the biting fuel shortages in his country. If it were in the past, several fuel tankers would have been diverted to Niger Republic while Nigeria pay for the subsidy of the fuel being diverted and the average Nigerian would be left queuing at filling stations to buy scarce fuel.
Game changer indeed. Just tell him to stop bringing petrol into the country by force from the Malta blending facility and he should also stop harassing dangote who is out to rescue us from their slavery pls. It wasn't fake news that he wanted to stop NNPCL from supplying dangote crude. Danger was already planning to import crude from Yankee which according to him, is seamless and without hassle, before NNPCL made a you-turn.
PoliticsRe: Niger Begs Nigeria For Fuel Amid Severe Shortages by Eriokanmi:
professorPABX:
It is very disappointing when about two individuals you considered as being exposed and polished on nairaland are usually not different from street boys on internet. This is the third time.

Firstly, the news of fuel shortage in Niger Republic is not a secret information because it has been on major International News media for almost a week. This is not a Twitter information, all major news International media have reported it.

Secondly, some of us have visited Sahel countries and have people on diplomatic and Intelligence missions in some of those countries. Thirdly, Zoraz refinery in Zinder is the only one in the country. The output has never met local demand because it is a small refinery and the investors must make money.
The local demand in Niger Republic is largely dependent on the flourishing black market supplied from Nigeria. The fuel that came into Niger illegally from Nigeria represented up to about 50% of the market. Subsidy removal and control have created serious bottleneck for them since 2023.

So, at the optimum, it is the 20,000 barrel per day of the Niger Republic Refinery that made you a self acclaimed International businessman to say Niger Republic have fuel that can meet the local demand of Nigeria while they are currently undergoing fuel crisis in their regions for weeks which has now entered Niamey.

I don't blame you. If the FG wants to take action, their brothers in Nigeria will force Nigeria to support them.
Stop spreading propaganda. I go to Niger all the time. They too import petrol from the same place we go to buy,for their people to meet unforseen shortages. They have tank farms where they store petrol for contingencies. What's their population that their local refineriy can't serve or meet the local needs? I have an associate there too. I don't have to say everything here.Where do you think they sell the petrol from their refinery to...Nigeria? Are you even aware their currency is stronger than ours? Check out the cefa exchange rate as of today. I prefer to keep cefa to stockpiling the naira. The Soraz refinery is undergoing some maintenance hence the reason for the perceived recent shortage and not mainly due to stoppage of smuggling. France is not happy they broke away so, anything to diminish Niger won't be far from them. They're importing as we speak to address the short term shortage,.like every other nation Including Nigeria does thru NNPCL

If all I said about the cooking gas and onions that Niger used to import to Nigeria was fake, why not at least check Google? The information is free. They came to Nigeria recently to meet our government over insecurity which they traced its source to Nigeria. Who doesn't know Nigeria has been battling terrorism for over a decade now? Maybe you're living in the moon to know this. Their base is in Nigeria so, they came to seek how to prevent them from infiltrating their country.

Like I said in the previous message. The news source was from twitter now called x. Twitter is a public place where anyone can post nonsense and that doesn't make it legit. Shebi those you're following once told you that petrol scarcity in Nigeria was due to smuggling across border and you swallowed it hook line and sinker. I visit cotonou often due to the nature of my work and I've never seen a single petrol tanker on the way since 2014 that I've been visiting. Customs and immigration posts before the border are over 20. Where will fuel tankers pass? Even in the bushes, they're there. They used to buy from us before Buhari came but they later stopped. Those who didn't want to pay export duties too used to smuggle. All that stopped after border was closed.

Stop being deceived. Benin republic goes to same place where we buy petrol abroad and sell to their people. Since subsidy had been removed, why is NNPCL still importing despite dangote's commitment to meeting local needs as seen? What are the marketers still importing when dangote petrol is way cheaper, those who are now declaring billions in losses? Who will clear the mess? Everything time I call you guys illiterate, you always kick. Isn't this one of the proofs? While the border against Benin was shut for years, they kept waxing srong economically while we're the worst hit. Their currency kept waking stronger. They never came to beg rather na we dey smuggle from them and Niger. Enough said.

Now they know whom the Boss is. The Boss is Nigeria and the Mafia Head is Asiwaju JAGABAN
Check the source of news before you type anything. It's not from a reliable source. How can you trust a mere twitter news which you and i can put up? Niger has a functional refinery which can supply us petrol for a whole year back to back. Are you aware the country used to export cooking gas to us before the sanction? The moment they closed the border against them, cooking gas price rose up sharpy. Niger can do without us any day. It's all propaganda. Check the cost of onions in the market. It's more expensive than pepper now and it's because Niger doesn't sell to us anymore. They're the largest exporters of onions in africa.

That area is so backward. I travelled on that road inside one of the commercial buses from lagos. I had an appointment in Abuja the following day so I decided to travel by road and relish the old time road travel experience to Abuja. By the time we left a town called arigidi akoko, TB Joshua's hometown, we hit a bad road as we entered kogi and guess what? The whole place was desolate and quiet. The network in my phone disappeared grin I was scared . The road should be over 50 years old cos the asphalt was already peeling off.

TravelRe: Top 10 African Countries With The Highest Purchasing Power Per Capita In 2025 by Eriokanmi: 10:39pm On Mar 14, 2025
Racoon:
While nominal GDP per capita is often used to measure economic performance, PPP per person provides a clearer picture of individual wealth and well-being.

This distinction is particularly important when assessing economic well-being, as a high Gross Domestic Product (GDP) per capita does not always equate to high purchasing power if the cost of goods and services is also high.

A notable example of this disparity is Nigeria, which stands as the largest economy in Africa. Despite its strong economic output, Nigeria’s nominal GDP per capita is approximately $1,100. However, due to persistent inflation and currency devaluation, the actual purchasing power of Nigerian citizens is significantly weakened.
We're now 4th largest economy in africa to say the least, queueing behind a small country like Morocco and Egypt. Isn't that shameful? It will take a concerted effort to get to the top again, maybe in the next 10 years if we have good leaders in place. Tinubu has finished this country with his fake economic policy. When a warrior tells you he can defeat his enemies and win in the battle front, you don't argue with him. Just give him a chance to prove himself. Tinubu is a bunch of disappointment to Nigeria.

His leadership style is a proof.
TravelRe: Top 10 African Cities With The Highest Cost Of Living In 2025 by Eriokanmi: 10:30pm On Mar 14, 2025
Their living standards too are high. A salary earner in south africa, Zimbabwe or Morocco is a king in Nigeria. I wonder what people want to achieve whenever they post a thing like this. Morocan economy is better than ours. We're behind them on the african economic index. We're 4th largest economy in africa despite our teeming population and noise, we're behind south africa and Morocco, what a shame 🫠

Leadership says it all. If una like, make una make same mistake of 2023 in 2027 and fall for tribal bigotry and Tinubu's propaganda. He knows how to get you guys with 2k and moodles of rice and you suffer for another 4 years. . E no concern me

Or is it that they were not 'settled'?
UN sanction looms, including visa ban to UN member countries. The jungle justice in Nigeria among our politicians didn't start today. Sadly, they don't think of the dire consequences before acting. I hope the embassies have not yet commenced their visa recall for cancellation.

In a decent country, apkabio will be suspended, guilty or not, to give way for an in-dept investigation. Tinubu backed apkabio's action else, he'd have ordered his suspension. The man will lead many of them astray before leaving as president.

This happens everyday in that deadly ocean. They're only able to notice this because it happened during the day. A lot more happens at night when there's nobody to come to their rescue. There is supposed to be a round the clock patrol on that bridge day and night because it's always dry and anything can happen in a matter of seconds.

But because our government are only after money instead of caring for the people they serve, they'd rather send the police to be on guard on their maids, mummies and homes. 2027 is what matters to them now.

Including Fubara right?
He's the governor and untouchable. The state pdp is solidly behind him as you can see. They appreciated his loyalty for not throwing their efforts into the wind by bowing to wike's pressure to defect to the apc who didn't give him a single vote to become governor. I hope the law makers will eat their humble pie and call it quits with wike whose political career has ended in rivers, for the sake of their political future cos some of them are still very young and can become governor in future.

The moment amaechi joined apc, his career ended in rivers till tomorrow. Wike's will end that way too. Rivers is unapologetically pdp. The earlier you guys know this, the better. See the LG election conducted by fubara for instance, which he adopted another party for all the contestants. Do you think its not in agreement with the pdp in the state? It was a move to burst wike's plans to stop them. The adopted party even won in wike's LGA.

If care isn't taken, the law makers will soon regret being pushed by wike who is no more in power. Their political future matters. By the time the mega party is formed by the pdp, Labour and aggrieved party members of the apc, pdp will become useless and we shall see where the law makers and wike will stand. It's never too late for them to be humble.

Nigeria's GDP is 199 billion dollars
But someone want me to believe Lagos GDP is 256 billion dollars? Lmaooo

The propaganda is now too childish no effort again
They're rooting for tinubu again ahead of 2027 despite his woeful performance. Awon propagandists grin. Let's assume the GDP figure was real. It's still an individual effort. Government provides nothing as they only tax us. The land they're supposed to give Dangote considering the tax he'll pay to state, they still collected millions of dollars from him and cleaned mouth, in a place they called FTZ, just imagine. Dangote had to expose them during the time he's being frustrated ahead of the refining of his patrol by the corrupt fellow who owns the malta blending facility. We tar our streets by ourselves, install our streetlight by ourselves , provide security, sink our own boreholes etc. They'd collect taxes, land use charge, radio and tv levies with nothing to show.

I was in Thamesmead, UK ahead of Christmas to see a friend. I noticed some people were outside cleaning the river and trimming the flowers in an estate. I asked my friend, who pays them and he said he didn't even know. He said they came because Christmas was approaching and the estate needed to be prepared ahead for xmas, that the government sends them every year to do that, apart from the monthly cleanup. Here, they only collect our money with nothing to show.

Anyway, na those outside lagos the propaganda go catch as usual. He should count lagos out of the states he'll win.
