Vinod007:This deviation from the truth isn't necessary. The case you cited and that of rivers were clear and different. There were political crises in rivers of course, contrary to the Abegunde's case you cited. Read the supreme court judgement on the rivers lawmakers very well, maybe you'd understand better. They resigned, ceasing to be members of the PDP, though they didn't formally join the APC as there's no record of their joining the apc despite declaring for the apc in the media. Court uses evidence to adjudicate not media brouhaha. They're only pdp members by name. Can you leave an employer after tendering your resignation and still call yourself a bona fide staff of that company? If you say you're going to guiness Plc in your resignation letter for instance and Guinness is saying you're not their staff and this was affirmed in court's verdict, how's that your former employer's business? The fact is, you've left the company and can't come back, except the company chooses to re-absorb you cos your resignation letter is with the HR as evidence you've left and you also had an acknowledgement copy of the letter. It's that simple. Those letters will hook them in their throats, except fubara just wishes to take them back, which I doubt. |
ddippset:It's technical and sensible what the SP had done. They're not members of the apc truly but the letters they tendered which bear their signatures is a proof they left the pdp, which the SP is quite aware of. They're not members of the pdp anymore. This will be dealt with at the party levels and then, the court. They shouldn't have submitted those letters of which they all received acknowledgement copies. |
SendoSendal:Hope you got my point. Demolition of building or not. You cannot tell your employer say you no do again, com submit a resignation letter duly signed by you and your employer com sign an acknowledgement copy. And the same you, now say you wan go back there , go work. Whatever you do or did with your life after leaving the company is none of your former employer's business(whether you remained unemployed but lied to yourfriends you're working at Guinness, or you joined another company). Did they resign due to building demolished? That's a different case. Fubara had stated the reason for the demolition ,even though it's politically motivated. Court dwells on evidence, not story or emotions. |
Mynd44:Are you aware they tendered a resignation letter and well signed, ceasing to be members of the pdp? That is enough evidence court will use to deal with tthem. When the supreme court said they're not registered members of the apc, the court did well cos no record of their membership with the apc. The whole scenario can be likened to an employee who angrily or willing resigned from his job. Whatever he does with his life afterwards (whether he's unemployed,self-employed or joined another employer)is none of the former employer's business. The same employee can't claim to be a bona fise staff of the same company anymore because the resignation letter which was duly accepted still subsists. This is where the lawmakers missed it. Fubara accepted those letters and signed the acknowledgement copy which were also sent back to them. |
Kewtt:Court dwells on evidence to adjudicate as you know. They all submitted a written letter with their signatures well appended to Fubara, ceasing to be members of the PDP. Even if they're not card carrying or registered members of the apc or any political party, the road is clear enough. That will be used against them. It's just like you resigning from working with a company. Whichever company you joined or whatever you do with your life subsequently is none of your ex-empkoyer's business. You cannot resign and now want to come back to work. That letter you submitted is enough to nail you, should you wish to play smart. When the supreme court said the law makers aren't members of the apc, the court was right. They're also not members of the pdp. The letters they submitted is a proof. |
LordBiden:Na dem get rivers. Other tribes are on the minority side. They won't try it. |
Dpharmacist:Why must I tell you my BMI? Are you my physician? Despite how clear my message was, you still couldn't decipher anything, Smh! In summary 1) the case isn't of a concern here cos obesity isn't our problem, US and SA are of major concern. 2) I gave a stat on the populace suffering from obesity in Nig so, the campaign is inconsequential In concussion, I'm a radiologist with years of experience. I also have a degree in hazardous mgt and suffice it to say, I'm alsio relevant in the oil and gas sector. You being a pharm(if I guess right by your moniker) isn't enough. Your job ends at dispensary. We see patients ok? I know you'd hit back at me . Pharmacists are so fond of beating chests, fighting needless fights. Enough said. CIAO |
ERockson:You don't understand Doherty. Meranda is a core lagosian. It's her right to remain as speaker after the majority in the house had supported her. Obasa isn't a real lagosian. Her withdrawal is seen as a dent on the face of native lagosians. All these nonsense will end in 2027. Just watch it. |
Our next governor has spoken. Omo eko ni meranda while obasa na atohun rin wa. Road go clear for 2027. No more deceits |
iwaeda:Leave the illiterates alone jare. Where are the palliatives for the fuel subsidy they removed in 2023, which they said they'd reel out to their mumu followers in April 2024 wey most of them were dancing skelewu on top? These guys mist learn in a hard way. |
Jaujau politicians. |
YeyeGbami:In as much as I'm not in support of the narrative, naira will appreciate more because those packing the dollar are counting their losses already. They're the petrol importers and I thank dangote for the yeoman's job. The lower the petrol price, the higher the naira value and the less the pressure. |
TechCapon:Don't mind them. Even at 700 before may 2023 I still dey buy dollar with naira and put inside my acct. After all, e no dey chop food. |
Dpharmacist:You're not talking to a quack and my message is clear enough. Hospital is my PPA to say the least. Have you ever been to the US or SA to really learn of what being obese means? We don't have such here. Less than 0.005% of our population is obese which is too negligible to draw a concern. The campaign should rather be echoed in the aforementioned countries not in our clime. Elon Musk even saw this as a major concern because nearly 10% of Americans are obese, according to him and he's looking forward to tackling the health challenge. |
Dpharmacist:Where exactly in Nigeria do you see the obese people, compared to the US? You may be living in a utopian world to be saying this |
Ballzproblem2:Isn't it good for the gold digger bitchh? |
Dpharmacist:Abi |
Oriyomin25:Exercise is good but not the major cause of obesity. Hit the, streets of lagos and you'd hardly see obese people throughout your day's search. The junks people eat is the main cause. Each time I'm abroad, I must locate an african restaurant or at worst, a Chinese restaurant around me. I can't eat burger king,.KFC or McDonald's chicken. Even the orisirisi that would go with it is disgusting. Give it to an American and see how they'd devour it in a matter of minutes. All we need in Nigeria is supplement and we'd be good. Obesity campaign should be taken to America and south africa who have same food composition as them |
This campaign should be echoed in America harder ![]() |
osuofia2:Imagine the Tinubu's supporters calling dangote a monopoly at the start of his refinery's operations, when they knew who the authentic monopoly was. Illiteracy of the mind is a self-inflicted and the most dangerous one 😳 😃 |
PriceActionZ:His target was actually 500 naira before last year August after which tinubu and NNPCL engaged in a war of words with dangote. NNPCL stepped in to hijack the down stream operations for a reason. They wanted to hide the truth behind the subsidy scam. If you recall, they first sabotaged dangote by setting a portion of his refinery ablaze which was put out quickly. Then, they said his fuel was adulterated, then they said he's a monopoly. From there, they said he can't meet the local demands so, they must appoint 3 marketers, including Tinubu's own which he's operating under a proxy as he does in most of his investments. Dangote went to court and obtained a court order to stop the NNPCL. Some smart businessmen advised dangote to withdraw the court order that tinubu and NNPCL won't win the war. What you're seeing today shouldn't surprise you. Dangote is out to rescue the nation. I pray for God's protection over him. |
9jatriot:Your jagaban is failing as you can see. Wait a minute, so dangote isn't a monopoly anymore? We knew this would happen. Only illiterates supporting tinubu and attacking the innocent dangote who came on board to rescue the nation were calling him a monopoly. NNPCL will fade out, likewise those importers tinubu appointed to be bringing petrol from the Malta blended facility very soon. As you can see, they're declaring losses already. When tinubu and NNPCL were appointing 3 marketers, including his own to be importing petrol despite dangote saying he could surpass local supply, I knew tinubu would lose this war laslas cos it was too big for him. You can't be president and be a businessman same time. Only a greedy human does that. |
Thank you dangote. Now, we know the real monopoly holding Nigerians to ransome for ages ![]() |
Good. Now we can see who the real monopoly is. Weldone dangote. Let the mr man who owns the malta blending facility that almost frustrated dangote out of business and NNPCL continue to count their losses. ![]() |
ideatoprince18:Na for pesin wey wan go church for the purpose of making quick wealth. There are good churches in town to attend. I read a similar story here a few minutes ago, just below this topic, where a small boy who already had a car was killed by a CCC pastor and buried his body inside his church after removing his body parts. The boy transferred 1.5m naira to the pastor's account which was part of the evidence the police used to nab him. Where did that kind of a small boy see 1.5m naira with a ride at his age? Hearing bad stuffs as this isn't an excuse for not going to church again. Na for pesin wey no wan go before. |
God has said it since the beginning of this year that He will expose fake servants of His, this year, that this year is their pay back period. This is God at work. He doesn't joke with his words. Weldone baba loke. More of this pls |
A lot of men would have attained greatness in life, had they run away from lust. You spent nearly 20 years of your existences acquiring formal education, no setback, no jail term. You worked and earned a living, acquired wealth, no setbacks. You slept on empty stomach for years, struggling to be somebody, no setback, no public shame and no jail term. But, just one moment of lustful encounter, you lost everything and or life. Many great men had fallen as a result of this untamed spirit. Smh! |
zero8zero:Why are you guys talking like this, despite knowing the truth? You've been saying competition is good and dangote can't be allowed to dwell on monopoly of petrol. It will only make sense if you admit that the federal government via the NNPCL is the one monopolising the petrol in Nigeria which needed to be broken and not dangote. Had dangote not come on board, petrol would have neared 1,400 today. On the cement thing, they don't need to advise dangote, he already knows what to do and again, you said raw materials used in making cement are here right? Do you blast the rocks, grind and bag without applying the chemicals that enable the grinded rocks coagulate when it touches water? We don't have them here. It's imported. Despite all the frustrations by the FG, dangote was able to flag off refining and the NNPCL became restless and later stepped in, in order to cover up their subsidy scam. Before August 2024, dangote said he'd flood the market with its petrol and sell even cheaper than the NNPCL and they blocked him. They knew he would spoil things for them. They first started by saying his petrol was adulterated and later said he's owing the CBN, the loan he had almost liquidated. Dangote felt frustrated and said a top man in government owns a blending facility in malta and they quickly left dangote cos the cabals already knew he's ready to fight dirty and expose them. Later, they said he must be selling to the public through them and they'd be the one to dictate the price. He allowed them after pausing for a while, though not favourable. Later, the NNPCL said they'd need to appoint 3 marketers to import to complement dangote's local efforts as he can't meet local demand . Dangote came out with proofs that he could meet and even surpass local consumption and obtained a court order to stop the FG backed NNPCL which he later took down after being advised to do so by friends. Still the NNPCL in their usual habit to keep milking the public went ahead and appointed those marketers to import both petrol and the products for the port harcourt blending facility which they deceived you was a refinery. A few months ago, dangote announced a reduction in pump price and the NNPCL followed suit. If you were asked in an exam who's the real monopoly here, you'd not make a mistake of picking dangote. 3 weeks later, NNPCL lamented that the reduced price wasn't sustainable, as if they were forced to emulate dangote . 3 days ago, dangote announced a further reduction in the pump price and the 3 marketers appointed were already declaring billions of naira losses when the new price had not even taken effect yet. It's worrisome the way you guys are defending these scammers despite the obvious. Make una continue. We're in it together. |
ayoolataiwo:Who told you he's not aware? Before an ordinary dog barks in lagos, tinubu knows. Obasa was removed after he attacked seyi Tinubu's ambition. He's gone to ddọọbalę and his sin has been figured. His beef with sanwoolu wasn't enough to remove him. GAC is merely deceiving your likes as usual. If the apc wasn't aware of his removal, then was it the pdp who now removed him? |
SendoSendal:You'd never know cos you can believe anything. If an ordinary dog barks in lagos, tinubu knows. |
Was it the pdp that was consulted instead? GAC is making a you turn, shioor, despite their previous position on same issue. Anyway, they love fooling their supporters cos they know they're stark illiterate Lagos deserves something much better. This is nothing short of show of shame. |
Reno is smart. He could have begged her to delete it. Useless guy. I was wondering why the sudden praises on tinubu, before I knew he stole money when in the pdp as presidential aide and was being investigated. The case is still very hot right now. When you see an ardent opposition suddenly praising the opposed, you should smell something. |
