I don't think some of these Pephaters know how ridiculous they sound at times. If He wins na trouble, draw na trouble, loose nko more trouble. If they were that demanding of their respective coaches, they'll win the treble every SINGLE year.
Exactly. It is now why he has not won another Treble or else he is a fraud. LOL

According to Dayo, Ferdie should not be more than $50m
Same way, Pogba is not worth £89m but that is what United paid to get him.

Now you get.

Bros. I know you are trying to make an argument but what you typed up there is totally illogical, incoherent and out of context to what elrony said.

If the point was Arsenal's goalpost, you are sunkenPlace Morata.
It is as out of context as asking why someone who is winning the league now did not win last season.

Ehmmm.... If there's no fiscal proof to support this claim, it won't fly.

No way £15M of 1996 is technically equivalent to almost £200m in 2017.

If you can prove that, I'll be glad to learn a new thing today.

Where's Pa Ibime, I think he's good with real life valuation sef.
What money do I need to spend today to make Kane the worlds most expensive player?

Wow! You are not living up to your name. VVD? he was never compared to Ferdinand. Holy Christ! People were screaming at his price because for one, a player from Southampton should never cost that much, how much more a defender who wasn't even consistent at the time. Back to our argument VVD's cost has nothing to do with Ferdinand, it is so absurd there's no relationship that will cause VVD's valuation by Southampton to be What Ferdinand will cost today. For all we know Ferdinand could still be the price of Bailly and still be very good.
To make Ferdinand the most expensive defender Fergie paid £30m. If he had offered less, Leeds would not take.

Same way, whoever wanted VVD so much paid £75M for him making him the same title Ferdie had. Simple.

Fiscal proof of the above assertion.

Just gimme the total tho cool
I gave something logically sound above.

For example, Newcastle paid £15M for Shearer in 1996 making him most expensive English and world player at the time.

That value is equivalent to Neymar's value now or Pogba's last season.

You should ask yourself that. One can't just come out and say a car cost $100,000 last 10 years, now it should $10 mil. Back to the topic, by what and what is your valuation based on. How did you arrive at a proper value of what a defender cost then and what he will cost now?
It is simple: Rio was the best defender in 2001 (atleast in England). Fergie knew he had to pay heavy to price him out of Leeds.

VVD is regarded by many as the Rio of today (in England) and was purchased for £75M.

That's besides the point however as no one calls Aragones a Fraud.
United Treble the team had 78points to Arsenal's 77.
Beat Arsenal 2-1 after Dennis Berg missed a penalty FA Cup semis.
Scored 2 late goals to win the UCL.

Arsene could very well have done that double.

But that team was miles ahead of a City team that has 84 by Match day 32.

If I said none, you can't verify it. The ones you can verify are here:

City to win the league. I said it last season and when the season began.

City to win the league again next season.

Clear enough?

He bet when Chelsea had not lost to Tottenham. He probably would not have after the Tottenham game.

I believe City have what it takes to score 3..4...5 goals against anyone. So I believe they can overturn it. But I cannot bet that it will happen. At least I am being honest.

No
City lost because:
Pep couldn't find an answer to United's comebac
Sterling was made to play as striker with Jesus and Kun on the bench, Sane not being up to scratch among other dodgy starting line up issues(selection gamble)
They couldn't kill off United.
They were probably celebrating the title before playing the game (possible complacency)

United won. I could argue that Danilo should have been sent off for successive fouling but I won't.
Congrats to United. They reacted well. After reacting.

One team scored a winner from offside.
One teams keeper made gilt-edged saves.
One team's bar was struck.
One team should have been awarded a penalty.

So I cannot blame Pep or Sterling (he helped Gundogan score and has scored winners at least 3 times this season).

I don't blame United.

I blame the Ref.

If yes, then this argument is null. Your Pep has conceded three goals in successive games and you are blaming the ref.
Oga I'm tired of this debate.
If you can't see where City lost it then I can't help you
Yes. I blamed the Ref for why they lost not why he conceded 3 goals.

The 3rd goal was offside. Then 2 clear penalties could have made the game a win or at worse a draw. So that is why City lost.

If you know anyone that decided a game this season. That would be fair.

This is not an attack on United or about tactics. Just about the refereeing. And it was my response to someone who asked why City lost.

Hahahaha.
United won.
No need for long story.

All the posturing and genuflecting won't change the result.

United won. Your super Pep still needs to spend more to beat an ordinary United side. But all we see are excuses in his favor
Nobody said anything about spending.
Or that United did not win, they won.

But Atkinson had more say over the result. That is a fact.

At least, you would accept that your squad was always good so that spending for either teams will cease to be an excuse.

But you were blind to Sterling's woeful finishing and Pep's inability to change strategy when things go wrong.

Oga give credit where it is due instead of hating blindly.
United beat City. How is another matter.
Sterling has also won games for City.
Pep did not need to change anything.

At 3-2 it was United that were under pressure and De Gea making saves. Ashley Young fouled Aguero which should have been a penalty. He also handballed Earlier. That is all.

Nothing against United.

This is the reason I can't get past forgiving D. Green for his moment of madness that cost the Warriors the championship.
Not just him, Harrison Barnes and Steve Kerr for that Festus Ezeli substitution. Dude fouled Lebron twice on a 3 point attempt. Lebron of all people. GSW led by 7 that time and it was in the 4th quarter.

What is the warriors problem aside from all this injuries I haven't watch much basketball this season?
Is this some kind of bait and switch type move where them go ramp am up for playoff.
Or should bron be making space in his trophy cabinet for that fourth ring? wink
When he needs heroics to beat Wizards ahome?

About GSW, they gave it all against OKC because they had something to prove but were demotivated against a serious Indiana team and paid for it. If you watched that game you would know I am not making excuses, the D was seriously bad. Indiana of all teams made 15 of their 29 3s because 90% of those 3s were uncontested. Kerr rightly bashed the team after the game because he saw it too.

If you want to worry about GSW, do it when they are down 3-1 in any series. I wrote off the regular season after Curry hobbled off. We might have issues beating Rockets without Curry, but I don't envisage issues in round 1 and 2. That is not to say we would go 4-0 this time around. We might not, but I don't fear our prospects in those rounds.
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 3:46am On Apr 06, 2018
Lebron can ball but it was more Wizards choking than the other way around.

A team that moved the ball so well began to settle for jumpers and Wall was feeling himself too much. The temperament of a serious playoff team is what I was yet to see in the east and my opinion has not changed.

Puny teams with megalomaniacs start shymming and dapping themselves when they should be seeing a game out.

Cnte entered the same CL he is at home now by second round, He has never played the semi in his career. He spent 250M this season alone

Mourinho entered the same CL he is at home now courtesy of Sevilla. He has rhe highest wage bill in Europe

Both of these managers are at least 16points behind Guardiola in the same league they started same day

So if Guardiola is a fraud what should we call the other 2?
Funny init.

All I would say is, PSG beat Bayern 3-0 and got whitewashed in the next leg even when no one expected it.

Liverpool led Sevilla 3-0 first half and ended up drawing the game second half.

People should not celebrate prematurely.

On the surface, City are out but for some reason (maybe blind optimism) I don’t see it. What I would say is, 3 teams are leading by a 3-goal margin and not all 3 will make it to the semis.

I need an Elclassico semis and a Bayern vs City one but if LFC make it, they deserve it.
