Before Pep came has City not been spending money before. Does the coach determine an amount a player Will be bought.
Just Pellegrini in his penultimate and last season; Otamendi, Bony, Mangala, KDB, Sterling, Fernando, Delph. Then he finished 4th.

Don't mind naysayers. Last season, they scoffed that he should have bolstered his defence. This season, he is doing exactly that and they still complain.

Your last sentence... Lol.

I was simply reacting to your thoughts.

If Pep is a good the best manager, winning titles shouldn't depend on buying stars since any decent manager can do that.

Yet, after spending so much last season he failed to win anything. How can I clap for him?
Any decent manager can do that. Yet rich clubs were not looking for any decent manager. They looked for Pep.

And your fixation on spending this and that is misplaced. To rebuild, you would spend. It is science. United were rebuilding 04/05/06 what did they win then?

Forget Spain and Germany, lets focus on the now. How much has Pep spent between arriving England and now?

Had he won the title, may be we could turn a blind eye to his extravagance.
You said he inherited good squads in Barca and Bayern. Okay.

He did not inherit a good squad with City so he wants to rebuild. You still complain.

Pep should sell off all the bad legs in City and still win without replacing them. Or he should use the bad legs to win - then when he wins the same you would turn around and say anybody would have won with them.

Sorry I can't be dancing palongo with you. Stick to one narrative and forget how much he has spent.

Wait till he wins the league then say you have no respect for him because he signed expensive players. Say you only respect Ranieri and until Pep uses Aston Villa to win, you won't respect him.

You are just about an inch from saying that.

Sometimes I wonder if Raumdueter is not behind this moniker. You two can shift like shadows about a point.

Unless you want to accept that United and Mourinho are better than City and Pep respectively, then Pep losing to Mou is another round of failure.

Pep should be winning all his matches whether preseason or not. Remember he is the best manager in the world.
But...But...You said Pre-season games are fake. So how is losing a preseason game another round of failure?

Only when it involves Pep!

Man City signings this summer:
Danilo (£26.5m)
Kyle Walker (£50m)
Douglas Luiz (£10.7m)
Ederson (£35m)
Bernardo Silva (£43m)
Total: £165.2m

And he won't lift the premiership or the Champions League in England...
Douglas Luiz is back on loan so he does not count.

But mark it especially when Mendy signs. Manchester City will be crowned champs. Chelsea, 2nd. The rest can sort out themselves.

Better team? But...But only a season before they were 10th and you were 2nd.

Better manager? But your head to head against him and his CFC was 2-1 if I can count (and boy can I count!)

LOL. You are willing to trade your beloved Wenger and AFC to spite Pep. That is why you are succeeding in deceiving yourself my man.

Pep has a better head to head record than Mou including finishing 3rd to Mou's 6th.

Now you want to pass the buck on someone else as hatred. It is no hatred bro. We are only debrainwashing your fanaticism.
LOL.

When he wins one this season you would revert and say "Chequebook manager. He only wins because he spends".

For evidence check your statements on his wins in Spain and Germany.

That is why I told you, you would only deceive fellow Arsenal Lickspittles. You would have an excuse for whatever victory Pep has because you are conditioned that way.

1. The point is when Pep doesn't win he blames it on not spending enough.

2. Barca has been bribing refs since 1804 including during Pep's era.

3. He came to Bayern to win UCL. He failed. Winning the BuLi is a give away as any coach can do that. Ask Anceloti.

4. Del B used the same players to win world cup, Euros etc. Pep even had the super luxury of having a Messi extra.

Whatever standards are used against Pep was set by fanatics like you and Raumdueter.
1. Where did he blame anybody for not spending?

2. Classy how you said under Pep. Why did they not keep bribing the refs after he left? Why did Bayern not bribe refs as well?

3. LOL. Yea he came to win a UCL they had just won the year he was signed. grin

Pep came to make Bayern a consistent winner playing his own brand of football. CONSISTENT because prior they had not been. They wobbled after LVGs double and won diddly squat till Pep was announced the new coach.

Sorry to burst your lies again but Dortmund had been the dominant German team 2 years in a row and nobody anticipated Jupp's treble. If winning Bundesliga was a given, ask Bayern why they offered him a new contract worth €17m/year the season left.

4. Why did Del B not win Confed 2012 with the same players? Tata Martino ko? I thought using those players to win was a given.

The standards used against him only prove his greatness. If he does not sign and he wins (he inherited a good squad and anyone would have won with them). If he signs and wins (he is a chequebook manager who needs big players to win).

Your hatred for him is disheveled and confused. Pick one lane and stick with it.

1. Does Wenger not spend? Why does he not win?

2. How come UEFAlona have stopped bribing refs after he left?

3. So how many times have Bayern won the UCL before and after he left?

3. Del Bosque did not have these same players in 2012 Confeds cup? Rijkaard did not have these same players in 03, 04, 07?

Why do these players become so great that anybody can win with them when it involves Pep? Why is expected to win UCL every year for Pep to prove himself but to any other manager the standards are lower?

LOL.

I interpreted the figures for you. Sometimes clubs sign players as potentials that may never be used. Riyo Miyachi is an example.

Other times clubs make signings for coaches without his input. Wenger once claimed if he was not away at the 2015 transfer window Welbeck would have been loaned and not signed.

A few times big clubs make signings as a way to help out smaller clubs that have working relationships with them. Hand me down money if you please.

We can determine which signing is which when we see how the said coaches use those players.

Who T F is Henrique? Kierrson? When did he play them? Caceres as well was barely used.

So be objective abeg.

Well thank God he will sign Mendy, so no more excuses?
Average is the way they are playing.

He should not sack them, he should use them? The way you want Gibbs to be your starting LB?

Did I not say he needed a LB? The 2nd LB is for contingencies. It is not a prerequisite. He would win the EPL. Quote me.

You did not answer the question.

Would not signing 2 LBs be an excuse for Pep not to win the league? If you think he has to sign then that's silly because every manager can use that as an excuse.

Stop beating about the bush.
You've gotten the answer to your question but you are just being silly.

They have agreed a fee for Mendy so that seems in the bag. Prior to this, they had no LBs.

Why would any well-meaning football fan ask me whether not having LBs will hamper any team?

Every manager can have an excuse of not having full backs?

Meanwhile, hope you are enjoying your lacazette. He is in for a torrid time in the EPL with his lack of stamina or strength.

You guys are being raw-dogged by an average CFC side that have not left gear 2 but seem to be steam-rolling you guys.

You are the one who allows sentiments to ecloud your judgements.

You say they lost all their FBs or sacked them?

I could sack every Arsenal player and buy new ones just to win the league.

Never use buying players as an excuse not to win as every club wants to buy as much as possible. Some just can't afford it.
Supporters of small clubs with the same mentality make the kind of arguments you are making.

CFC are sacking Costa to get Morata - did you hear me complain?

United sacked Rooney for Lukaku - did I complain?

If United had sold Rooney or CFC Costa, without replacing them would I not be remiss to expect them to compete?

So WTF are you on about?

City let go of their 4FBs. It is just common sense for me to expect them to replace them and compete.

If you could sack every AFC player and replace them to just to win but you did not, does that not make you grossly inept and allergic to winning?

Will you expect Barca to win anything this year if it is announced that Messi is injured for the rest of the season?

Guy, educate yourself.

Legacy means alot to players don't sleep on it. How plagued was KD when he knew he could end his career without a ring?

That fear can drive you to opt for the unpredictable.

If Kyrie was getting his dues whilst playing with Bron he may have been okay, but, think of it - he did not make the all NBA last year and nobody batted an eyelid.

I saw a video of him angry that NBA 2k17 rated him 90. He was hoping to be a 95. Little things like this matter to some people's ego that is why players like Curry are venerated.

I see your point about him wanting to leave because he knows Lebron might not be there next year and it is right but word is, Kyrie was hoping to move to Bulls until they traded Jimmy away.

In other words, he had been considering this move earlier than we are getting to know.

When Klay Thompson gets one more ring, he's walking out of Oracle Arena like a cat on a runway. This one is sure. Lol

Anything Kyrie is doing should just be in the East. 11 teams in the West are already fighting for playoff spots already. Jeremy Lin has a better chance of making all star than the MVP next session.

Let him just stay in that conference for posterity sakes.
I rebuke you!!!!!!!

If Spurs can get him, they reduce the gap between GSW and them. But his MVP dreams may still not come to fruition. That is why I agree with you that he should remain in the east. He would develop as a player if he has the reins of his team.

Heat or NY would be good for him especially NY. He would have to develop his passing game and defense (at least just a bit).
