My word if Curry shoots just half as good as he normally does this game would be over. He is passing up some shots and Klay is bricking them.

KD helping us in this game.

Fictitious foul on McCaw for marking Kyrie but Curry needs to play better. Absolutely needs to. He is turning the ball over too much.

Mark J was defending the 2nd fouls on Klay and KD. He straight up defended it.

Eruditor, Donlittle abeg see this.. I agree with the article to an extent. http://bluemanhoop.com/2017/06/11/golden-state-warriors-steve-kerr-needs-better/
I endorse this article completely.

Notice the writer is not saying how average Kerr is and is only being bailed out by good players. Notice his achievements since 2015 till date are not being questioned. The writer is simply saying Kerr:

1. Overcomplicates easy sets (because he over anticipates what the other coach tries to do). Parenthesis and emphasis mine.

2. Is Stubborn about his system and atimes prioritizes it even over winning games or letting his stars bail him out.

3. Has a penchant to play Curry off the ball against Cavs like he did last year game 7, the Dec game and game 4. Which has not only hurt Curry's rhythm but cost his team a perfect win post-season record.

Another NL poster on here said variations of the above and I agreed with him. If you check my posts even in games 2, 3 and 4 I was saying the same things as the games were going on.

The part I would never let anyone run along with is how coach R or Coach B are better than him. That is nonsensical. Only Pop is better than him and that is because of longevity. We have seen even him make big gaffes before including letting Kawhi play on in game 1 of the WCF even after he had rolled an already bad ankle in the game. If Kerr did same and we lost the game, people would come here and start saying David Blatt would not have done that and so on.

If there is anything Kerr has tried to portray as a coach, it is that a system can achieve results without necessarily being overdependent on it's star players. That is his strength and undoing at the same time. Lue HEAVILY depends on Lebron and Kyrie ISOing their way into Ws for him. That is why when Lebron is not facilitating efficiently regardless of the game Kyrie is having they still lose. Kerr on the otherhand has had tremendous success in many games that 1 or 2 of his star players play ice cold. He just does not seem to reproduce that success when playing the Cavs the same way and for that, he needs to put his obduracy aside and adjust.

Guess which HOF coach has the same philosophy that Kerr adopted? Gregg Popovich and that is why we have so much respect for him. 30+ games ago, we were reading how we won't get passed Denver or Blazers without KD; How we were going to lose our number 1 seed to SAS; How we were defensively frail and how Rockets, Spurs could easily peep us to represent the west in the finals.

It was the run we went on without KD that made them revert and begin calling us a superteam. The voodoo analyst Nick Wright (who likes to conjure fictitious stats to suck Bron's D) even said Cavs will beat us in 5. Some people on here said we would have lost the series without KD and I just laughed. Nobody recalls that Curry had 15 and Klay 14 in game 1 last year yet we beat Cavs by 15 because Livingston had a big game. Nobody recalls Curry had 18 due to foul trouble in game 2 and we still beat Cavs by 33 because Draymond had a big game. Kerr always and I mean ALWAYS tried not to depend on his MVPs in most situations. Yet people will still turn around and say his assistant coach or his players are the ones redeeming his image. Preposterous.

People are shameless mehn!!

In spite of the obvious, blatant favoritism from the refs, you still have some folks here jawing. You graze someones head while going for the ball. Flagrant foul. You punch someone in the nuts after whistle blew. Jumpball. Chai! Even in Naija we dont cheat like this.

If we got half the superstar calls these divas are getting, our duo would be scoring 50 each every night. That why Lebron was perplexed and asked Durant, why are you talking crazy?? Some of these warriors think they are tough and real ballers. They forget that they are playing a brand of basketball the league office likes, so the rules are skewed for them, and against more traditional teams like cavaliers.

They think its because they are that good...shiorr. And they shamelessly grin on court as the refs switch technical from Green to Kerr to keep the crybaby in the game! Is all good tho, but i must ask so called warriors fanson nairaland, why you guys talking crazy all of a sudden. Why you acting like you d first to cop a ring. Calm d f down
Total rubbish. Did Lebron not kick Iggy in the groin in game 3 Where was his flagrant? Why was there no outrage concerning it?

Rules are skewed for GSW? You're tripping man. It was clear the game 3 was riddled with bad refereeing but they tried not to be too overt and bang!! (Like Mike Breen will say) GSW won the game.

LOL game 4 the NBA was not going to take any chances; Dish out 2 fouls to each of their prime defenders thus preventing them from committing themselves in defense and then stop every run they make with flimsy fouls. That is why Cavs led by 16 in Q1 and despite all their heroic shooting in the remaining 3Qs only won by 5.

The only time Warriors looked rattled was deep in the 3rd Q when they almost ejected Green. All the while they had prepared mentally to be cheated by the refs and it was clear they were.

LOL. I dare you to bring any post claiming Curry said the NBA was rigged. We don't celebrate whiners here in GSW. The chief whiner is in Akron.

Does a high draft pick mean great player?

Dubs won in 2015, they're previous champs too.

Been making 3's all regular season. Today we looked like ourselves.

Like i said, see you in oakland.
Cavs are the most recent champs. And people rush to select players first when they feel they are going to be big deals. Stop playing D (for dumb).

Today you looked like yourself? GSW had a lot of clean looks to make buckets as well and 116 is about our regular season and even play offs average. So we too played a bit like ourselves except for the overglaring robbery of the first Q.

Again, I repeat, Cavs with all their great shooting are winning quarters 2-4 by a combined 5. Don't sleep on knowledge. This game barring the flagrant ojoro should have been like game 3 and not a blow out.

So shut up about the refs. Jeeez!
A defensive Juggernaut like the warriors conceding 49pts in one quarter does not sound egregious to you?

I am telling you that despite how well Cavs shot, you were winning quarters 2-4 by 2, 1 and 2. This shows you how close the game should have really been.

The refs had to cheat to prevent the risk of having another close game like game 3 and see Warriors flip the switch and pick the W.

Forget what you think you know.

Expensive roster full of overpaid players. Curry is paid about same as JR and less than TT. When he signs a max contract i reckon KD takes a pay cut but my point is payroll doesnt mean good players.

The draft picks you mentioned apart from kyrie are old or subpar.

Deron williams, derrick williams... Are these the draft picks you mentioned?

James jones who has piggy backed on lebron for 7 years, is he the previous champ you speak of? sigh

Warriors have the greatest talent ever assembled. Stop it.
Tristan Number 4. KLove number 5. Bron number 1. Kyrie number 1. They traded Wiggins a number 1 for KLove FYI.

CAVS no win ring last year? Does that not make them previous champs?

Nope. But i've been with the chosen one since 08. And yes i followed him to miami too if you're wondering, my allegiance is to lebron and not cleveland.

Side note, all my favorite americans are from ohio though. So is Curry.

They were fouls, i didnt even see or hear anyone contesting them after the game...

Like curry said in his post game, when your aggressive you get those calls. And they were indeed fouls, heck everyone knows fouls on lebron dont even get called most of the time. I guess the refs just decided to do their job and make sure every foul is given.

Phantom because you're biased. Even Jeff Van Gundy admitted you cant fault the refs for giving those fouls, stop squealing.

*Sigh....

Well so far you just sound like a butthurt larrior to me..

Fair representation, you guys were outscored in all quarters of the game. Stop making excuses.

You clearly didnt watch the same game, now i'm convinced.

Cavs were making tough calls right from the start, part of why they got rolling.

The debate here isnt about whether it was worthy of being a technical, its about how they manipulated the record to keep him in the game. And Draymond has only himself to blame, hes to outspoken even when all the cards are in your hands.

Stop it. The last finals all games were blowouts except the finals. Thats just the way it is.

I prefer kingsman.

I am not even on reddit small fry.

Word of advice, sometimes when everyone is repeating something then its probably because its true. I never plagiarize.

Again, thank you mr. point out the obvious.

What makes lebron extra special is how he makes his team better, how can he fully exploit his abilities if his team doesnt show up? If the role players dont play their role? We know the King will show up, he will get his. Its always been the question of whether his team shows up or not.

Even uncle drew as much as i love him, when lebron goes off the field he tries to play hero and messes up.

We've seen what happens over the last two games when lebron sits.

Whatever man. Its all about faith? Can you blame us? Do you rather prefer we give up? We are not plastic fans like you bandwagoners.
You did not see anyone calling them flimsy because you are wearing Bron's arse as sunglasses.

You think Curry talks like Lebitch and LeWhine? All game long GSW were ready to play with the bad calls. But when Refs kept stifling each run they had it added to the imminent L.

Even JVG? grin You are a greenhorn. Even in games 1&2 I complained about the commentary of JVG and his protege Mark J. They are bias trouts. LOL.

Who is making an excuse Arse-an? I already said no matter how the refs bungled the game GSW would have lost simply because Cavs shot the ball so so well. What are you on about?

LOL. Making tough calls when it gets to 9, Kyrie clangs a 3 and Livingston gets the rebound but refs call a phantom looseball foul on him and return possession to Cabs? grin

LOL. "If we dont rescind the tech on Draymond we would look like Donaghy of the Kings vs Lakers 02 WCFs". Same reason they started giving GSW FTs in garbage time. When we were already down 20 or 24. LOL.

When Cavs fans are repeating something it probably is true but when other unbiased basketball watchers pan the shoddy refereeing we saw yesterday it is probably untrue? See why I did not need X ray glasses to know you swallowed a female dog?

^^ "that line may not dawn on you till the break of day"- Ibeeeme (spelled his name wrongly so he does not see the unnecessary mention).

What is the drivel on LBJ and faith? Save the sententious piffle for the game 5 L.

Not sweeping the Cavs especially in a close out game at the Q was inexcusable. I have always maintained Kerr is too rigid with how he manages Curry and roster. Curry was bullied off the screen, and just like last year he did not make any adjustment to accommodate Curry.

A warriors bandwagoner asking me if i started watching basketball yesterday? lol
My bad. You are an Ohio native and supported the Cavs since birth.

Were any of those fouls conjured up? Were any of those calls wrong? Did they not make contact? Even KD and Curry agreed the cavs aggressiveness won them those fouls, stop whining!
Looseball on Tristan. Looseball on Love. Looseball on Jefferson. Reaching on Bron. Clean looks to the rim they would give +1s. Cavs aggressiveness that made them get 22 1st Q FT attempts?

Exactly, if you're fouled you get the call. Were the warriors not fouling the cavs? In the words of the GOAT "Stop talking crazy".
I am not contesting all the calls were wrong. But some were done to swing momentum. Jesus Cavs had 22 fvcking FTs more than half of which were phantom.

Phantom fouls? Are you drunk? Again, give one instance of such incidents where the refs were wrong. Jeeez!
Javale's clean block. 2 loose ball fouls on Klay and Draymond in contesting rebounds with Tristan and Love. I could go on and on.

I missed that but whatever the case, does it not go both ways? why is it only rigging when its against you?
You don't know me. Read me up. I try to be fair in my comments. When Kyrie got fouled by Klay in the last game and it was not called I came here to post it. The BS I cannot take is one team having 22FTs on a couple tricky tacky fouls for christs sake. Take away the first Q and you have a fair representation of the way the game should have gone. I mean this is the breakdown of the game:

Q 1 2 3 4
GSW 33 35 28 20
CAVS 49 37 29 22

It is always easy to feel free to attempt some difficult shots like Kyrie and Bron did all game when you have a 16pt cushion already from the first Q.

SMH! Ojoro when they were sharing brain in your village yeah? Well Draymond said he knew it was kerrs, everyone else and the book said it was his, doesnt matter, you lot got blown out. FOH!
I am agnostic to your quibbling. Explain how that was to be a 2nd tech on Draymond. Getting blown out is something you are accustomed to. In the last 6 meetings you have gotten your arses handed 4 times. But then again, it is possible you are a Cavs playoff game 4 bandwagoner so you are right in saying this is the first blow out of the matchup.

Just more testament to his greatness, winning against the greatest season team in NBA+The serpent.
A Lebtard. I should have known.

He was right. This team is still not up to par, if not for the GOAT and uncle drew i dont know what would happen. Wait till we get paul george next yeat, we'll show you what the GOAT can do with help. You and your plastic as team full of b-tches. Deron once touted to be better than cp3 has been playing like a joke.
Are you capable of making an original post or would continue plagiarizing posts from other Lavaliars on reddit?

Thank you Mr point out the obvious, if they miss then they ARE scrubs. Showing up in one game isnt enough, you must show up every game
How enlightening. If my grandma had a willy she would have been my granddad. I see you have already setup your excuse for game 5: " The scrubs did not show up". We are waiting even though we know there is only 1 Cavs fan on here. The pseudo-one I am replying to thinks Lebron is the author of the King James bible.

Yes, and we know we've done it before against your plastic as--s! Dont sleep on the king small fry.

Warriors blew a 3-1 lead. Never forget.
When all else fails, invoke the slogan "warriors blew a 3-1 lead". If you say it long enough, it would make up for the fact that Cavs in 5 turned to 6, 7 and by 13th, will become "next season with PG13". grin

Warriors shot more Total free throws in the game. 5 more to be precise. 36-31
LOL. Did you start watching basketball yesterday? You jump out to a 16pt lead following 2 fouls each to the Warriors strongest defensive options and you are showing me a post game FT disparity to argue about fair refereeing.

Besides, how many FT did curry alone score in game 2?
15 all in the first half because they kept fouling him and hoping refs would not call it. If you were on this thread you'd have seen some of us expressing our surprise that he was getting calls. Meanwhile, Javale blocks Love on his dunk and refs give Love 2 FTs for his effort. Miss me with the BS.

Crying over a back court? Well cavs turned over the ball right after that.
If only they could miss all the FTs they got from the phantom loose ball fouls. If only.

Happens sometimes, Doesnt change a game. Game 1 and 2 KD was carrying and scored after going out of bounds. Who cried?

TT's block in game 2 was called a goal tend. swayed momentum completely.
TTs block swayed momentum completely but Lebron's out of bounds miscall did not? Are you related to Kelly-Anne Conway?

How many fouls did iguodala get away with in game 2?
Same number that Love, Korver, JR and Shumpert got away with in game 3.

They swiped it because you lot are cry babies and they wanted to make sure you had all your stars in the game. Draymond is a loose cannon, deserved to be ejected. He contests every call, good or bad.
They swiped it because the ojoro was too glaring.

Speaking about cry babies at least we would not hear "he does not have help" "there is no parity in the NBA" when you lose game 5. Your players are only good enough for LeBroom when you don't lose.

SMH! Nope! Poor officiating!
Yea. Such that each time GSW went on a run and Cavs missed a shot, refs gave us a loose ball foul and returned possession to y'all even when replays will show both players contested for the ball equally.

Good, the cavs shot like that during the season. Then non lebrons showed up and did their job today. Get ready to see more of the same in oakland.
LOL. You are obviously new here. Cavs won 109-108 in Ohio in Dec and they threw a party here. Lost by 35pts in January and began to say "He plays too many mins" "We need another playmaker". I can't wait for what you would say when JR and Korver miss shots again in Oakland. They would become scrubs.

3-1. De ja vu? The cavs are better as a series goes along. The GOAT has figured you lot out, KD snaked his way to GSW to blow a 3-0 lead. Hold this L. CAVSIN7
Sure. It used to be Cavs in 5, then 6. LOL. The only reason it is in 7 now is because that is the only option you have. grin

Your ref cant rig the next three games. Trust Lebron to go after Durant. I knew he would try and do something to irritate warriors. My prayers is that KD does not get injured as thats the only way CAVS can survive.
KD will get his. That is not why we lost. Curry has to play well and we need to play better D. We let them have so many uncontested 3s and that is because we hoped they would miss it. It happens.

Coming out of Cleveland without an injury to any of our starters is the only success I can take. I would not overreact over a game in which one team has to shoot 24 3s with the help of the refs to win a game.

Refs scored 22 3's for the cavs and gave the GOAT a triple double.

1. Warriors shot more free throws

2. Didnt call greens flagrant on shumpert

3. zazas swipe to the groin. (BTW He lowkey tried to do to Lebron what he did to Kawhi)

4. Shadily wiped off greens first half technical to keep him in the game.

5. Called loves non flagrant a flagrant

Bad officiating both ways. You Dubs bandwagoners need to stop being salty.
1. More FTs at what point? After Cavs have 20FTs in the first Q alone? After Klay, Draymond and KD have 2 fouls in the first Q alone?

2. So Kyrie's back court?

3. Lebron swipes the ball out of bounds for a Cavs possession?

4. How many looseball fouls to Cavs following a missed 2 or 3 thereby giving them back the possession of the ball?

5. Shadily wipes off Greens tech? Hahaha. They did it to cover their asses for one of the worst refereeing displays you would ever see. The first tech should never have been one. The second one was even worse. LOL. Green can be a jerk but nothing in his reaction should have led to techs. Meanwhile, in game 4 Bron holds Iggy after Iggy blocks him. Then Bron slams the ball into the court but refs unlook. The only reason nobody cares about it is because we win.

6. That Love's flagrant is medicine after death to make the game appear evenly reffed. We did not need it. It should have been a common foul.

The only thing I give you guys credit for is the incredible shooting and I said it here, that regardless of coaching missteps, refball or absent Curry, Cavs shooting yesterday would have won them the game.

Now it is to hope such numinous shooting does not happen again game 5 even though I am pretty sure we react well after Ls.
