Warriors in 7! |

SmooshCHN: Raptors played great and Kawhi has lead this team excellently so far. KD returning doesn't mean the bench would fix itself. Curry wasn't bad tonight however, much was needed with how bad the front court and bench were playing. Besides, the Warriors will not risk KD's career for what the team put themselves into with that poor bench and embarrassing front court performance. We needed him to be stellar but he missed too many open 3s and some defensive assignments. You are right @ bench and front court though. All of them should be ashamed. |

Klay Thompson's performance deserved another great game from Curry which his numbers will hide. |

SmooshCHN: Livingston couldn't even catch a pass. Bad loss He was useless all season so I had no expectations. |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 4:40am On Jun 08, 2019 |
Roland17: Baba, I no gree... you for don conjure a conspiracy story against Curry by the refs or the NBA. Like the ones I was conjuring today whilst he was being fouled with no calls? I know when refs are influencing a game and also when the other team is simply out playing GSW. I am pretty sure I accepted the latter today. |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 4:36am On Jun 08, 2019 |
SmooshCHN: Draymond actually convinced us he found his offense.
Well deserved loss with the last two performance. I am fine with Draymond. Iggy, Jerebko, Cousins and Cook. Those were the issues. |

Looney with 2 missed free throws.
Then they get an easy dunk on the other end. |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 4:17am On Jun 08, 2019 |
SmooshCHN: I know all those ones but the front court need to put pressure on the Raptors defense. They all can't be standing throwing passes and looking for Klay and Curry. All the Raptors do is hold down Thompson and Curry. What do we expect when everyone on the Raptors is scoring even the bench? Even when they tried they shot bricks. |

Curry has sucked today. |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 4:14am On Jun 08, 2019 |
As bad as it is. They are a Kawhi 5th foul away from losing their poise.
Steph has been too cold from deep but it only takes one shot. |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 4:13am On Jun 08, 2019 |
SmooshCHN: Bench is trash, front court isn't even trying to score. No the shooting was just bad today. We had wide open shots and kept missing even when we were getting defensive stops. |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 4:12am On Jun 08, 2019 |
Roland17: @Eruditor
Would you buy the excuse that Livingston’s elbow on FVV was innocuous and unintentional if it was on Curry? Why would I not since the whistle had already gone for the foul on Ibaka? |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 4:03am On Jun 08, 2019 |
Too many cold shooters even Curry.
Just stay aggressive. |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 3:57am On Jun 08, 2019 |
Now we need a miracle as Curry has been cold from deep. Every other warrior except Klay even. |

They killed us this 3rd quarter.
Too many hesitant shots on open 3s and too many fouls. |

Curry missing free throws. Okay.
But Quin Cook hit those open 3s. |

The calls have been crazy. |

Draymond don't lose your head |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 3:35am On Jun 08, 2019 |
Curry is hesitating on his shots which is not a good sign. Klay is steadying the ship for now but some of the turnovers are unnecessary.
If Curry catches fire by any stretch of the imagination this game will be a blow out. For now, Raptors are shooting better from 3. |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 3:14am On Jun 08, 2019 |
So too many turnovers and Curry is cold from 3.
The FT disparity though. Refs...wake up. |

IKON360: You being a fan of Barca or me being a "fan" of Valverde no final control over what happens at Camp Nou, your complaining won't have him sacked, even the players don't really have a say. Messi the captain wants Valverde, all fans can do is complain but it won't change anything. Since Valverde won't be sacked, the board should get him the players needed to succeed. Simple. Your comment on Guardiola's teams never showing lack of character is sentimental, you don't watch all Man city's matches. Watch all and you will see that even Guardiola's Man City do show confusion and bewilderment, one of the best teams that Guardiola coached was the Bayern team that reached the Semis of UCL, yet did you see how Ancellotti's Madrid beat, daring superiority and Guardiola was clueless on how to remedy it. Same thing with Man City of last season, met Liverpool 4 times and lost 4 times yet they were the best in the league. Real Madrid that won UCL thrice in a row never beat us back to back in La Liga, yet they were dominant in Europe and if you watched Barca v Liverpool the 2nd leg there were more blunders than even conceding that goal, worse blunders e.g missing chances that we shouldn't have missed. Well Valverde isn't being sacked, Enrique wasn't a coach that inspired confidence but he knew how to get the best from his awesome players, Neymar, younger and more clinical Suarez and Messi, Guardiola had one of the best midfielder trios in European football history. These teams inspired confidence. Valverde's Barca don't inspire confidence, Suarez as much as I like him, does not inspire confidence, Busi also doesn't, Coutinho doesn't, Dembele isn't fit enough to play much more inspire confidence. Only Messi. The teams that have won UCL in the past 10 years, had players in every position that you can rely on. Even Chelsea had Drogba. But our Barca has Suarez. If they want Valverde to succeed then they need to get a new striker. Apart from this rubbish you have written here, can you provide the time when Liverpool beat City 4 times in the season you are referring to? Is that not the same Liverpool team that thrashed the Roma FC that outclassed the Valverde you are defending? Or which team scored 4 goals past Barca this very season? You have defended someone and he has failed woefully...twice. A sensible person will shut up till you have a reason to defend him again. Don't be posting your rubbish like others here don't know facts. |

Melvyn11: You watch Stones, Walker and Sterling on international duties, and you realize they are no threat outside the Guardiola's system and it shows. Just look at Sterling infact most of all the City players are no threats Away from the club. Trust me nobody will join you in saying this now because they want to be able to say they are world-class and were always world class before Pep when he uses same players to win. Just like money was not the reason Klopp won the UCL over Poch but because he was a better manager. If it was Pep, they would remind you about how much Allison was or VVD. LOL |

KarnThornheart: When did nurkic go down again? PS Nurkic or no nurkic, pre injury crises lakers would've smashed portland. LOL. Do you have any evidence to back this up? Would you bet that Lakers would finish as a 3rd seed had Lebron not gone down to an injury? |

Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 2:14am On Jun 07, 2019 |
KarnThornheart: Can you read mate? Did you miss the part where i said your first injury isnt same as recurrent injuries? You literally just made my point for me. Small fry, wade was exiled from miami two years later, bosh was out of the league. How are they not spent? What is this clown even talking aboyt?
This clown is literally sticking to the same point. That the cavs were better with delly than kyrie
How am i supposed to take this guy seriously when he thinks dellavadova is gary payton?
The 2007 cavs were over matched but the 2018 cavs were not overmatched. The cavs with kyrie were over matched but the cavs without kyrie werent over matched? LMAO! You need help. Are the Warriors better without KD? Are there matchups that favour the dubs without KD? Recurring injuries when they lost 11 or when they won 12 and 13 and got to the final in 14? Recurring injuries when his Bulls were going to KO Boston before injuries on his team ended their run? So blood clots prevented Bosh from playing well in 14? The 2017 Cavs that were not overmatched lost 4-1 so how am I supposed to care if Kyrie leaves and they lose 4-0? LOL |

I love to engage in thought provoking discussions. But with people like you there really is no point. If you had put a full stop as a rejoinder it would have made more sense than what you wrote above. Like I am going to have a conversation about smarts with someone who was lying about his educational level. LOL |

KarnThornheart: Go and read what i typed again. Its more than just GS! The Portland made the WCF, the lakers would have done at least that with the caveat i gave. Learn to read comprehensively. The Lakers would have beat OKC? Nuggets? LOL. Okay. |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 11:26pm On Jun 06, 2019 |
KarnThornheart: This was back before you started watching basketball but wade injured his knee. Hes had one knee since 2009. Bosh had blood clots that are the reason why hes retired now. Compare that to lebron who had his first injury in forever. Injuries come with age small fry. Your analogies are sh-t!
LMAO! I still cant stop laughing
I dont get it? are you saying the cavs are better off with dellavadova than kyrie?
Clown! That happened once in game 7! Dont come here and skew facts! I know exactly who i am conversing with!
What is wrong with you man? Who said its about injuries? Its about playing with inferior teams against better teams when you're the best player on the court.
Your arguments literally make zero sense! You agree with 2007 but not the rest, did the cavs have injuries in 2007? You're confused!
LMAO No one makes me delete my nairaland account except my mum. What errant nonsense are you spewing again? Wade had knee issues in 2009, Bosh had clots therefore Lebron was alone in 11, 12, 13, 14? What point are you trying to make? What it does it matter when he had his first injury if injuries means a player is spent. Because if Lebron is not spent how can you make the same argument for Wade and Bosh whose teams have played playoff games after Lebron left unlike the 2 Cavs teams he left. There is no need asking me who is better between Della or Kyrie. I stated a fact you cannot refute about how they were defensively. It is just like how GSW played the Rockets without KD and how the games went when KD was there. Some matchups work better with certain players than others. Do you want to bet that Cavs extended leads against Pacers when Lebron sat only once and that that game was a game 7? The reason I accepted 2007 was because Cavs were clearly overmatched in the same way GSW were overmatched yesterday without KLAY. No right thinking human will make that argument for 2014 Heats or 2015 Cavs when Klay Thompson was dropping 5pts in a series-clinching game 6. Don't bring me 2018 Cavs to talk about being overmatched when he lost 4-1 with the same Kyrie and love that are all-stars as well. Thinking should not be that hard. |
