Don't worry, your misery would come to an end tonight. I just hope you have a contingency plan to stop you from committing suicide after the defeat. Not that you really matter in this world, but I'm just saying. smiley
My problem is, after tonight, you will say game 7 is the day. Then after game 7, you will say you never really supported the Raptors.

We have seen it already.

If you went to Oracle to watch a game you should get another ticket for game 7.

There WAS a game 7 and we know who won.

Cheers.

You realize the guys you posted also questioned that initial calf strain prognosis? Bros make we leave this thing...na life lesson whichever side u on. You cant be so needy of peoples approval that you put yourself in jeopardy.

That is not heart like Curry said.

It doesn't make you a good man like his mom said.

It just means you have issues that need solving. I hope KD grows from this, in a good positive way. And I pray we dont see a Derrick Rose type of dropoff when he returns.
Ha ba baba, the host of the show is not an expert. He called the expert who gave factual reasons as to why the first injury was clearly a calf strain. Starting from the way he landed. How straight his legs were and the motion they observed from him before game 5. He made it abundantly clear that it could not have been an Achilles.

The same expert then concluded that the second injury was one but not a rupture and even went as far as saying it looked like a partial tear going by how KD tried to flex his ankle upon landing.

Fact is, nothing I say will matter if you clearly don't even want to listen to experts together with KD's own medical team. Everybody cleared the player. Bob approved of KD's decision. Because it worsened, everyone is now bad. The best run franchise in the NBA is now classless.

I hear you.

Two illiterates giving the same output in a business field doesn't mean they are saying the right thing. You have to know the truth to speak it. You just hate the warriors organization and it's clouding your thought process.
Hate that is anti-productive.

Warriors in 7!
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 3:33pm On Jun 12, 2019
SmooshCHN:
You have to have a type of brain deficiency to call the Warriors a classless organization after being transparent with KDs situation. Hate has sipped into your skull and you don't know it yet. These same people will still have something to say if KD had dropped 40. They'll say we didn't clear him because we wanted to prove we can win without him.
The Celtics weren't classless when Isaiah Thomas aggravated his right femoral-acetabular impingement injury with labral tear cos the doctors said he was fine to play. His doctors probably kept mute because they knew his pay day was coming and the Celtics were fine with it. They even agreed readjuste the trade when the Cavs knew who's bad his injury was. Danny Ainge wasn't going to pay him and subsequently traded him to the Cavs and we call it business. We knew how it ended.

But the Warriors saying KD's health is more important than championship after he missed 32 days in the playoffs is a lie right? Allowing Kevin play because he wanted to after being cleared by his doctors and the warriors medical team to come back was classless. Right?

KD had a calf strain at first. It takes 3-6weeks depending on how bad the strain was. KD took 32 days off and was cleared after series of practice. Up to me, he wouldn't have played like I said hours before the game. The Calf muscles are connected to the Achilles tendon. If he had a strain and recovered, you'll still be taking a risk on the achilles. But players have played this same way without any injury. It's only bad because it got complicated.
Down 3-1 complicated everything. KD even on his death bed will always want to play. The same media saying the warriors were holding him back to prove they can win without him are the ones saying the Warriors shouldn't have brought him back. Talk of double standard just because it's the Warriors. He wanted to play, was cleared by the medical team including his, the coach was fine with it and Bob Myers was the last person in line to say yes or no and he made the decision. Bob Myers made it known KD's health was first. He has to consider KD's wish as well as the medical team. The same media will punish KD till death if the warriors win without him and being KD, I'm sure this was why he was eager to return. Class is taking responsibility for your actions. KD took responsibility, the team did as well. It's the media and the opposing fans who are now playing devil's advocate that have a problem.
You are too much.

i slept on this. And I thought about it again. Nah, lets talk true...what GS did here was evil. And as I have been checking other athletes comments, everyone is saying the same thing.

If they knew KD was going to be a warrior next season, they would not have let him play.

Whatever class and goodwill warriors management had is gone with this move. Crying on stage cant absolve the Machiavellian move they made here.

I fault Durant for being too trusting, too eager. But warriors did a number on this guy.
You are one of the few reasonable people on here so let us listen to what an expert had to say on the issue.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KVniOBXOQ-g

The Warriors would never have let KD play if his first injury was an Achilles scare. Boogie whom everyone knows will not be here next season was not rushed so it is unfair to say they pulled a Machiavellian move on KD.

I was of the opinion that KD was not going to leave and nothing the media were saying could change my mind. They were the ones just hellbent on forcing him out.

There is nobody who would let him suffer an Achilles because he was going to leave. If he decides to take the player option he still gets $31.5M and can rest the whole year claiming he is healing. The warriors gain nothing. If he signs the max or super max, he gets $221M for 5 years and still may not play for 6-12months so how would they gain?

Remember, there was nothing at least by my observation that indicated he wanted to leave. Nothing. He also had his own doctors who cleared him. That is something most people don't want to admit. That his own doctors cleared him. Not just GSW doctors.

steady986:
You're not making sense o. So if you recovered from a leg injury, and then you get a hand injury on your return, your manager or GM have to say they are sorry for letting you play?
See why I said comprehension?

They asked him whose decision it was to let KD play. He detailed how doctor's cleared him, KD wanted in and how Kerr approved but that the final buck stops at his table so they can put the blame on him.

If a recently recovering player gets another injury people will always ask, why did he start? Was he ready? etc etc

They did so game 4 for Klay.

steady986:
Lol. I thought you said they are two different and separate injuries? So why should he take responsibility for an entirely different injury?

You're just buttressing my point.
Comprehension.

Even if KD broke his hand, Myers would have said the same thing because he was asked who approved of KD playing.
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 7:42pm On Jun 11, 2019
steady986:
Sometimes you should read a post properly before you react to it. I said the ice pack was on his leg days before he played, as part of the therapy or whatever.

Again, why should Bob Myers take responsibility for a player's injury?
The icepack was also on his leg after he was taken off before he got hurt.

Bob Myers has to take responsibility because that is what a good leader does. He had the final right to allow KD play or not. But KD clearly wanted to play. The Doctors said the calf injury could not worsen. KD trained and felt good. So the Warriors allowed him play.

When Kawhi felt SAS did not have his back he refused to play..exaggerated his injury and asked to be traded. So nobody forced KD to play

Lol, the thing is I had/have the luxury of saying Raptors in 5, 6 or 7. But what do you have?
First this is actually dumb I'm sorry.

Second this is dumb again.

Third, you know the rest.

Luxury when you are wrong and do not even support the Raptors. Simply hating on GSW.

Anyways, like I said before. Game 7 would be very interesting but the team you did not want to win, won.
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor:
steady986:
Lol. Did you see how low the ice pack was on KD's leg a couple of days ago. It is possible that the injury was at the calf/Achilles junction and they called it a calf, probably out of ignorance or sheer lack of expertise.

Did you hear when the GM claimed responsibility for the Achilles injury? Why would he claim responsibility for an injury that just happened?
Let me share a little hack for you; sometimes before posting, just Google what you are about to say. Google can make an ignoramus sound learned most times if used well.

So someone can simply wrap ice around an achilles and play? LOL. And it was you who knew but medical staff of experts, KD himself who not only trained but was seen dunking and dancing before the game and the GM Bob Myers had no clue.

Okay. LOL

If you mean the upstair of the Warriors organization, then you're absolutely right.

Will you tell me that this current Achilles injury is not as a result of the so called calf injury he sustained?
So when Kobe popped his Achilles was it as a result of a calf injury? When Cousins popped his was it as a result of a calf injury?

Your anger is that GSW won the game. Has nothing to do with starting KD or not. If he did not get hurt and we lost you would have had a field day.

Did Klay not rush back after he supposedly pulled a hammy? How come he has not pulled one again? Looney that they said was out of the finals has come back and played good minutes. Is it not the same medical team that cleared him?

Keep celebrating someone's misfortune. This week has surprises for some of you. You heard it here first.

You are actually supposed to shut up now. Game 5 is done and there is a game 6.

Who claimed he didn't want to play for GS? The only theory I heard was he wasn't playing cause he ruptured his Achilles. Didn't but now he has.

How did an injury confirm he was re signing? LOL! I hope you pay him the max at the expense of someone else and he turns into Kwame brown. Either way you lot are never going to win another ring again.
The injury confirmed all the teams that the media claimed he wanted to go to..will be having serious second thoughts about signing a superstar who will not be available for the next 7 months or so. Only GSW can afford to..and still compete till he returns.

I like how Kyle Lowry has given you extra confidence. You think you've escaped? You are just digging a deeper hole for yourself. You WILL deactivate your account.
If a player misses a shot he gave me confidence. But when the greatest shooter was missing shots it was not the reason we lost.

When we had an 18-0 run in game 2 it was the reason we won. But when Raptors had that 16pts differential in game 3 3rd which made them win the game "they outplayed us". I barely read posts here and anywhere else tbh. Once I see the the moniker, I just conclude it will be BS.

Talmbout I will deactivate..when I am telling you what happened not what WILL happen.

Nope. It was more about winning another ring for himself.
LOL. You guys will say anything.

First they claimed he did not want to play for GSW again which is why we were not seeing him on court. Even when this guy was always at the tunnel shaking his teammates and digging them up. Then now he decided to help when we were down 3-1 they say it is about ring. Even when I kept saying here that had we lost game 2, KD would have played game 3 and so on. I was saying it here repeatedly.

KD was going to re-sign with GSW. I had said so. The injury just totally confirmed it but even before it..I was 100% sure he would re-sign. I said it here.

Congrats to the Warriors for extending this by one more game. They did well. Their shots were falling in.

I actually think the refs were hard on them in this game. I almost felt sorry for them.

Two home losses should make the Warriors know that Oracle is not the fortress they think it is. That being said, it's one more game for us basketball fans to savour.

Raptors in 6.
You are still talking extending series when I am telling you that there was a game 7 and that I know who won. LOL.

Let me tell you something funny; whenever there was a game 6 on home court for a team down 3-2, the NBA always made sure a game 7 happened.

So expect those foul calls that Warriors were not getting to be called in game 6. That 27-14 FT disparity won't happen. I can assure you. All those Kawhi's travels he will get called for them. I said it here first. Watch this space.

Warriors in 7!

Clearing him was for a calf injury. Nobody knew he would have his Achilles popped like it happened. The Achilles is a new injury which is why Bob Myers was "crying".

At least it puts to bed the rubbish people were saying here that he wanted to leave GSW. Nobody will risk playing for a club you want to leave when you are housing an injury of any kind. They should ask Kawhi.

Why are you people bothering yourself about GSW?

Can someone with an Achilles injury stand? It was clearly a calf. They did not lie. Of course they have to limit his movement so it does not get aggravated but KD is getting rebounds which means he can jump. Relax.

Anyways, no need for this. GSW won.
