steady986:It is not complaining if it is affecting the game. It affected the game. Like I said before, this is not meant to be an affront on the Raptors. It is directed at the NBA. |
benji93:Demarcus won't be of much help in this series. He is awful on the pick and roll D and they kept exposing him in his short mins on the court. On the other end, Lowry or whoever will just flop around him and they will get the whistle. Pascal's game was a fluke just like Myers Leonard's of the Blazers. I am not saying he cannot play but he will not be that efficient neither will he make some of those circus shots he made. Gasol won't be that efficient as well especially if PnRs put him in foul trouble early on. 2 things are key, the other players cannot consistently miss wide open 3s when Curry is being doubled. Draymond missed like 6 yesterday. Iggy missed a few himself. Another thing is, GSW might have to resort to PnRs early just to fight off the doubles that Raptors were throwing at Curry. Some of the transition D they were playing by jogging back was annoying and Shaun Livingston needs to only be in the line up to capitalize on smaller guards like Vleet or Lowry. Other wise he is useless. But that still won't matter if the Refs call the game the way they did yesterday. If you can, watch the game at any point where Warriors could cut the deficit to 2 or 1. They either hit a big lucky shot (McCaw, Van Vleet, Siakam) or they got head-scratching foul calls after a miss. Those are momentum killers. |
birdman:LOL. Like I did not see you and the rest of the NBA rant about Refs in the rockets series (game 1)? I'm sorry it is hard to see the rust and lack of rhythm every pseudo analyst wants to talk about when the game is being stopped by ticky tacky fouls at every point in time for the more physical team. |
benji93:I won't be too worried though. Except the ref ball is glaring again, we should take game 2. When the lead was down to 4 in the 7th min of the 4th Q, Draymond's layup should have been a goal tend but they called it a block. Then in quick succession they gave Curry 2 fouls, gave Klay 1, gave him a tech and put us in the bonus. Siakam then shuffled to pass the ball to the corner for D Green who hit that 3 and basically sealed the game. |
KarnThornheart:I wonder why you waste your time doing this when I will always call out BS. LOL. I am going to always call it out. |
benji93:Shebi Every pundit has said he is the best player in the league. We looked scared to guard him because the refs were fishing for calls for him. He would miss a layup with no one on him and they will get a call. Yet Van Vleet was holding Curry at will. |
benji93:Yea bro. No fears. We got this though. They had a couple hail mary shots that went in and Siakam and Gasol won't be this good again. Only issue is, will Kawhi be this quiet again? |
SmooshCHN:Guy forget Drake. This game was poorly reffed. I think the team pretty much accepted it after the Klay tech. The only good thing is, unlike the Rockets, the Raptors players were not actively fishing for calls. Refs were just giving them at "key moments". |
Hardetayour:LOL @ Out of rhythm. Bro, don't let some of these hecklers stop you from saying the truth. Forget rhythm, Siakam's big game or Marc Gasol. This game was 100% Ref ball. I mean, Klay Thompson got a tech. Hahaha haha. The NBA have gotten what they desired: prevent a sweep to keep the NBA finals interesting. They won't ref this game like this in game 2 for sure. Notice how nobody is talking about the reffing like they did in the Rockets game 1. At some point, JVG said "it is not a foul if the ref does not call it" after replays showed Marc Gasol maul Curry. LOL. Watch how analysts will talk about the reffing in games 2-4 now. |
simonjassy:There is doping in football. Pep tested positive for Nandrolone. Same as De Boer. Pep had his record expunged. De Boer could not even when both had the same Doctor. The same Dr. who gave him supplements he used all his life and now as a coach but was never found guilty of doping until those 2 tests in 2001. How that article wanted to translate his success as a manager to doping is fa fa fa foul. Which was the point all along. Have a nice day too. |
@Roland17 I read a little about what you posted before it was deleted by the spambot. Frank De Boer who was also under Segura's medical expertise tested for the same Nandrolone and he made the same argument. I wish I read your post well to make a befitting rejoinder. Pep was tested more than 50 times over his career. Before and after this "scandal". Only twice did they find nandrolone in him. Traces and those figures you were posting. The 2 different figures you posted were from the same sample. Which is the final argument he made when they threw away the case. The same sample gave 2 different nandrolone counts. As per the supplements testing negative. That is easy. The supplements did not have nandrolone (their argument) but that they had metabolites/metabolic precursors for nandrolone which will yield same effects in the urine and blood and test positive to Nandrolone. So testing the supplements for nandrolone was a wild goose chase. |
simonjassy:Because he was taking whatever he took without knowing it was spiking his Nandrolone count. I don't know the half life of nandrolone. And half life and unstableness of a compound are not the same BTW. One is reducing, the other is increasing. Because they threw out everybody's argument who claimed ignorance of taking a steroid. Normal. Second was thrown out because they did not understand the steroid at the time. That was the same defense that was later upheld. Changing defense is purely legal. Lol. Has Atiku not started from Servers showing he won to now arguing that no elections held? The judge let him name the cyclists because that was the case he was being prosecuted for. If in the cause of trying him, something else springs up, especially something hacked out, it is inadmissible. You don't understand how samples work. As long as the samples were not tested for stability when they were extracted, they will be useless in future. That is why the judge threw them out. |
simonjassy:Traces means traces. Like it is there but not enough to constitute a charge for steroid use. So they waited 2 weeks after and tested him again this time it was now over the limit. My argument was that since it is unstable, the same traces of Nandrolone could be responsible for testing over the limit. To buttress my line of reasoning, I said it will be foolish for anyone to take more dose of the steroid after being tested once. Most people will try to lay low. Wait it out. So if they test you again, and you are clean you can argue that even the traces they saw were metabolized spontaneously in your system. Pep's first argument was not about the unstableness of Nandrolone but that the supplemental diets his doctor gave him had those without his knowledge. Frank De Boer who was Pep's teammate at Barca tested positive for Nandrolone as well and Segura was his doctor. What Pep used to reverse the charge was that the plaintiff could not prove how it got into his system. He claimed he drank something but their argument was that he injected it and supported their case with the dose in his system, but when it was now established that any metabolite that had similarities could test for Nandrolone and that those metabolites could be in energy drinks the plaintiff's case made no legal sense. The so-called Fuentes case was circumstantial and they got wind of it by breaking a law. They hacked a laptop with those claims and not that they had a way to prove it. Most judges will deem such evidence inadmissible. They destroyed the samples they had because they were tainted. They did not test them for stability in 2001 and retesting them could show a very high count of Nandrolone because the steroid is unstable. A 2ng/ml dose of Nandrolone today will show 12ng/ml in 4 years. So let us say Pep took a diet supplement with Nandrolone that tested at 0.8ng/ml in 2001 which is below the limit, that exact sample will read 4.8ng/ml in 2005 which is now above the limit. So you must characterize how unstable the sample is so that in whatever years time you can always interpolate to get a rough estimate of how much was in the system when the sample was extracted. |
Khanben:I am not here to argue numbers with you. I told you I knew I was exaggerating. Now you are looking at the average because the exact number is 32.7 but you won't acknowledge the 38 and 35 FGAs that he made. In fact, that 22/FGA game was a blow out so he did not play most of the 4th Q. Or else, he would have had another 35 FGA. |
steady986:How dumb do you feel now? 27 FGA. Lol Dumbo. |
Khanben:Like, hyperbole. He damn sure near did that. |
steady986:After this post, I beg you. Just ignore me. Think about the dullest person you know. Amplify that dullness by infinity. That is you on your best day. You are so stupid you did not understand the hyperbole. To now compound your foolishness, you went and just yanked off his FGA for the whole 14/15 playoffs and did not look at his FINALS FGA. I attached it here. Like I said, swerve. You give dullards a bad name.
|
steady986:You know why you are stupid? You don't even hide that you just guzzle Nick Wright's nonsense to come and spew here without actually watching games. You are giving me box scores to explain Iggy's role in guarding Lebron. LOL. Lebron was at his most inefficient best in that series. Do you know how many shots he needed to take to average 35ppg? Try 40 shots per game. If KD shoots 40 shots per game, he will average 70 ppg. Fvck outta here. |
steady986:You are the dumbest poster on the NBA section I have ever come across. KD was not being doubled that is my point. Rockets preferred to Double Curry. Dimwit. So your argument that Curry goes off because the best defenders don't guard him is rubbish. CP3 making the all-defensive team because as a small player he is a great defender. But only a fool will leave CP3 to guard KD without help D. That is why In this series PJ Tucker became KDs primary D. PJ Tucker is not only their best defender, he is the only player with sufficient speed and length to make KD think twice some rare times. Even Mike Di Antoni said PJ Tucker is their best defender. LOL. You are all shades of stupid and then some. KD was not in the warriors in 14/15 which is why you dumbo should not be debating with me. If Pat Beverly was that great D you said he is, I now showed you times where he guarded Curry and suffered severely. Which is why the Clippers coach decided to put Beverly on KD instead. Curry has torched Beverly so much it is hopeless. Dame is a better defender than who? ![]() Every fool knows Dame cannot defend to save his life. Which is why Seth (a player Curry said is the best defender in their house) and CJ that has some height advantage on Curry were placed on him. Turner, Aminu and Harkless have suffered in the past. Get to stepping. You don't know enough to reply my posts. You read box scores. |
benji93:I swear. |
Khanben:Somebody liked this post. Hahaha hahaha. Finals MVP Iggy. LMAO |
benji93: ![]() |
steady986:You know you are a clown so I won't even be taking your rubbish seriously. When have you seen KD doubled? Half way into the court? You have listened to Nick Wright too much you don't even know the narrative again. Best Defenders are thrown at Klay Thompson? Hahaha. Let me put you out of your misery. The only season that the best defenders were placed on KD was this season because he was far and away the best player. Last year CP3 and Trevor Ariza guarded KD in the Houston series. PJ Tucker was on Curry. As soon as KD went out PJ guarded Curry. How successful was he? Lol. Pat Beverly? Who else will tell this clown that Pat Beverly was Curry's defender in 14/15, 15/16(before he got hurt). Curry torched the living daylight out of Pat. In fact, in 15/16 Curry had 24 in the first half with Pat on him. All those Jrue Holiday and co. They know their daddy. Like I said, system defense is Curry's weakness. Not individual players. Just to prove you don't even know anything, you said Dame did not guard Curry. Yes of course. Because Dame cannot play D. How did the CJ and Seth fair by the way? LOL |
tallskinnyperv:LMAO |
etidy:If I was a betting man I would tell you to put money on this but I wager you would have conceded your money in game 1 alone. I respect your opinion but there is a lot of cockamamie in this. Both in offence and D the Raptors are not better. Kawhi is the best 2 way player in the league, but he has not been efficient in the last 3 games against Bucks. And the Bucks D have nothing on GSW. All those players you are calling are Curry's bitches. You guys crack me up. Kyle Lowry? Danny Green? Lol. Danny and Kawhi have had good games against KD, not Curry. And those games against KD is even when he is trying to shoot off the dribble. If KD posts on you, you will keep picking the ball from under your net. Warriors don't even need KD to sweep the Raptors. The most difficult series we faced was Rockets and we beat them without KD. Lol. Raptors my foot. One heaved lucky shot in a game 7 on their ground against Philly and now they are legit. A Philly team that would have been swept by Celtics. |
Khanben:Without KD, Kawhi's team led GSW by 22 on their ground, in the first half and lost by double digits with Kawhi guarding Curry. This was in 17/18. Curry did same 3 different times in 15/16. In one of the times, he barely played the 4th Quarter, had 36points and made a highlight reel with Kawhi guarding him where he faked him, Kawhi spun around looking for the ball, only to see Curry nailing a deep 3 in the game. Spurs lost that game by 32. What people said here is that it was regular season. Unfortunately, KD and Westbrook crushed them 4-2 with the game 6 being a 42 point loss or something like that. A curry led GSW then beat OKC in 7 in the WCFs. Even in that series, Kawhi had a great game 1 against KD but after the adjustments the series was done (barring one or 2 ref mistakes I will admit). The season you are talking about is the one Kawhi was gaurding KD and GSW could not hit any shots. You won't remember that at the beginning of the 3rd Q before Kawhi got his already bad ankle aggravated, Curry could not miss any shot. I still remember Mike Breen shouting "Bang Bang Bang" with all the 3pt shots Curry was knocking. I argued here then and I would tell you flat out, even if Kawhi did not get hurt, that game would have been tied by the 4th Q. There is no lead that is safe against GSW. Ask Rockets last year. Down 17 on their ground, game 7, we still overturned it and beat them by 9. There are players Kawhi has success against. There are players that he is hopeless against. Steph Curry is the player he is hopeless against. |
CuteRedd:I wondered whether to respond to the post or just ignore. I am tired of repeating myself. |
ipledge10:Most people did not want Raptors in the finals because the media had hyped Bucks as GSW destroyers even though we lost both games to Raptors and split the series with the Bucks. It is just media narrative. I know the GSW players are not taking those tweets to heart. We suffered all season with the Warriors are not the same and they can't do anything without KD. |
etidy:Kawhi has never been able to guard Curry. Add Danny Green and Siakam to the mix. It seems people have forgotten what GSW looked like in 2015/16. If Curry is to have a bad game, it will have to be system basketball doing the job. Since I have watched him, I have never seen individual players guard him well apart from one or two odd events like Dellavadoa. And that was one game, he got torched the next game and Cavs had to re-strategize. Kawhi is great and all that, but he will need to be better than he has been to get over the hump. Even for him, that is a tall task. |
Roland17:There is not much to say here as I already did in the other post. This exactly captures what I was saying. A Nandrolone urine test could read 2ng/ml concentration today and yet when that same sample is tested again in 2 years read 4ng/ml. A good lawyer will then simply ask, "did my client's urine inject itself with 2ng/ml concentration of the steroid while in storage? If no, then it is highly possible that even the 2ng/ml test could be skewed if it was not done immediately it was drawn- and even at that- could be skewed depending on when the client even injected or ingested it into his system". "Since you cannot therefore prove that my client purposely took a heavy dose of the steroid nor can you ascertain the actual dose he took and how it got into his system, then you must discharge and acquit him". And the judge obliged. End. Of. |
Roland17:I had to look twice to make sure the post came from you and not GreatlyCursed or some other pseudo-intellectual on here. There is nothing investigative or honest about the laughable article. Mourinho could even have written this with his laptop seeing the writings on the wall and how City were garnering a huge lead over their nearest and derby rivals in 17/18 season. Look at this for e.g Manchester City are running away with the league, playing breathtaking football and running their opponents ragged. Pep Guardiola has been credited – rightly so – for his innovative tactics and high-pressing defensive style (another in-vogue aspect of playing the beautiful game), despite question marks around the legality and fairness of his methodsWhat are the question marks about Pep's way of playing the game? Raumdeuter has proven that his teams do not out-run others. They don't even win most of their games in the last minute so stamina and endurance do not come in. They tackle the least and amassed about the lowest red or yellow cards all season. So again I ask, what are the question marks about his methods? Take a look at another: Whilst playing in Italy, Guardiola himself was found to have steroids in his system. Mitigating evidence meant that – after a few appeals and serving a ban – Guardiola was cleared of misuse of illegal, performance enhancing drugs, despite tests showing over six times the legal limit of the steroid Nandrolone in his system. He has always protested his innocence, using multiple defences to claim his innocence throughout the lengthy appeal processThis is even a dumb lie. The internet is replete with articles saying he tested positive for Nandrolone after the Piacenza game but it was only traces of it. As a result, they did another test following the Lazio game that Brescia lost 5-0 which is where they said he tested above the limit. My question then is, who in the world will be randomly tested, then 2 weeks after take 6 times the dose of the steroid you were tested for except you did not know what you were taking? Or how do you reason this out? He decided to sextuple the dose to argue his system metabolised it? “Unstable urine” – an effect that meant nandrolone would appear in urine as a result of a chemical reaction – was used as a final argument, despite the chances of this happening being between 1/1000 and 1/10000. Stability tests were supposed to have been taken within 5 weeks of the initial sample, but at this stage it was too late. Guardiola, like many important people before him, got off on a technicality.I laughed real hard at this part because it makes zero sense- there is nothing like unstable urine or the claptrap the Indian tried to conjure up. Ask any chemical engineer about unstable molecules. If you synthesized some molecule and characterized it, the yield could be 60% this very moment and in the next 3 hours give you something like 72% depending on how unstable that molecule was. What that simply means in terms of the article is, a sample of blood or urine that resulted in a trace of Nandrolone, could test 5 times over the count in 3 years simply because Nandrolone itself is unstable. So this was not what got Pep off, it was the simple fact that they could not prove that what he tested positive for was Nandrolone or metabolites that were precursors for Nandrolone. Just read: In 2010, UEFA fined his Barcelona team for not providing details of player whereabouts; an innocuous issue most of the time, but given the rumours around Pep and his all-dominating team, something with the potential to turn rather seriousand this: Manchester City were fined for a similar breach of anti-doping rules last year. One would think that the manager is responsible for giving details of where his players are at all times or that this was individual and not a team issue (something other clubs are guilty of). 2013 saw Pep move to Bayern Munich for three years, where his team suffered from a number of injuries and failed to win the Champions League. So what does the emboldened have to do with doping? LMAO. Investigative indeed. Guardiola is under immense pressure, having spent more on defence than some countries.Honest Journalist. No taint of bias or ignorance. In all of these, other players were fined, ban etc. They paid the fine, served the ban and moved on. This particular man fought the case till it was expunged from his record. The way and manner you then decided to side in with this junk piece of journalism by even stating categorically that Pep doped is funny. |
Oh Kyrien is not teaming up with KD and AD in NY again? Hahaha. Only journalists will spread news. Only them will debunk the same news. Only them will still be correct in either directions. |

Please, let that ref complaining poo end with the conference finals. This is the Finals man, you wouldn't want to remember it as one where the refs helped your team get swept, you should remember it as the Finals that categorically marked the end of the GS dynasty.
