Mou broke and set LA LIGA point and goal scored in LA LIGA history just like Pep did in EPL. Anyone can equal it the following season just as Klopp is on its way to equal Pep own. When you guys are found out you switch the argument. The record points was 99. Mou broke it by doing 100. The very next season someone else did 100. Simple. Klopp is 3 points off the point haul City had by this time last season. On his way...LOL |

eph12: Did Mourinho not break the record for the highest points and number of goals scored in a season in the 2011/12 season? I already responded. Mou didn't have the least conceded goals. Did not have the longest win streak. Did not have the greatest margin between first and second Did not secure the league in record time Did not have the most away points Or home points Etc etc City had all these records in that one season. |

raumdeuter: I don't think City will win it. They have broken all records there is to break and no more desire in them to make it
I think City make might make the CL semi though Baba, they will win it. It won't be 19pts like last season. It will go down to the wire. But they have more than enough. The momentum is with LFC but things could change. They were lucky to get all points against Everton. Lucky to get a draw against CFC, and City. UCL will return and could be a distraction. Every team that wins the league must survive a bad patch. Until I see LFC go through theirs and be on top with 8 games to go. I still feel City will win it. |

Mou broke and set La Liga records. Record points and goal scored.
100 points and 121 goals in 2011/2012 season.
Tito only equaled the points record the following season.
Mou set that record in La Liga and it hasn’t been broken yet only equalled. You are just saving your dead argument. You were the ones talking about points garnered which is why I corrected you. If you want to bring in records, then Barca of that season conceded less than RM. Tito also passed RM by more points than Mou's RM beat Pep's Barca. Whereas, Pep's City owns all of these records so they are not the same. Stop comparing Mou's RM to this City. One team owns every single record. Mou's team only has like 3 of the records which another coach equalled the very next season. |

Chelseafan1: How is Pep breaking the EPL highest point record something worthy enough of celebration after all the millions he's spent Raumdeuter?
This is a new low tbh.
U no celebrate winning the league consecutively, u no celebrate winning the UCL, u no celebrate winning with a weaker squad. Na highest point garnered you dey celebrate My problem with you people is you are celebrating as if the league is over. Tottenham were recently 4th or 5th after losing to Arsenal. Today they are second. Liverpool will still drop points. If you think the league is over you are deceiving yourself. But knowing you, when City wins the league and thus*, retain the title, you will revert to money as your excuse. The same money you are not mentioning for Liverpool or for City now that they lost. |

Make no mistake about it, Pep still remains a very sound coach. I do not subscribe to those calling him a fraud. I have corrected this false news before. The record of points in La Liga is held by Tito Vilanova and Jose Mourinho each at 100pts. Pep's record was 99. |

Lakers are now top team? LOL.
We have to do something about our bad 3pt defence. We have let too many teams shoot so well from 3 against us. Clippers game for example.
We already know our bench sucks and Klay is having an atrocious season but this 3pt defence is just as bad.
Better fix it before the playoffs. |

Roland17: You are missing my point. Just because someone got away with a crime does not make it legal or justify others who follow suite. I am not in the conversation about what the front office of the Pelicans failed to do with AD. I am saying this is pure tampering, whether superstar or not. It is a blatant disregard for the rules. NBA players fraternise alot. It will be out of place for the league to prevent them from doing so when other players not in contention for new contracts do so without much ado. The Lebron recruiting AD could have as well started during the off season. What would the front office do then? I can only say it is pure tampering if the CEOs and GMs are the ones seen with players. For now, Lebron and the Lakers have found a way to circumvent the extant rules on tampering and until a new rule is written, he is not wrong. |

KevinDein: Well, since Pep left, Luis Enrique has won it with Messi. Tito, of blessed memory, wasn't really around for long to win it. Same with Tata. Valverde was unluckily knocked out last season by Roma but I expect him to do very well this season and probably win it. He has Messi.
Pep on the other hand has gone four seasons now without even getting to the finals let alone win it.
This strongly implies that Messi is the most important factor in Barcelona's success in Europe not Pep. It was Tito who lost 7-0 to Bayern. LOL. Tata crashed out to ATM. Messi was there. Enrique won it with Messi, Neymar and Suarez the former 2 were joint-top scorers with 10 goals respectively. Neymar was just as important as Messi that year. Same coach then crashed out back to back with the same squad in the Quarter finals in his remainder 2 seasons. Something that never happened to Pep in both Barca and Bayern (he played 7 straight semi finals) apart from winning it 2ce in his first 3 years. Then as soon as he came to City, a team that was barely amassing 10pts in the group stages and barely getting past the round of 16 since Mancini's reign, you people changed expectations to what City should achieve in the UCL but nobody asked Jardin to get to another semi final with Monaco. Valverde was unlucky to bungle a 4-1 lead with the same Messi but Pep was incompetent to use the old defenders he inherited at City to lose out 6-6 to Monaco FC (go and count all the chances Aguero missed in the 2nd leg) and 5-1 to Liverpool with 2 disallowed goals for City and 2 offside goals for LFC at critical times over the tie that may have affected the final outcome. Here is how it works; have a narrative about Pep then force the contrived stats to back it up even when it makes no sense. Y'all won, Pep is incompetent. |

Man city can't win the UCL cos pep can't win it with a team that has no Messi. He was given an all conquering treble winning Bayern team and still didn't win it. Don't blame the rest of the EPL for Peps incompetence in Europe.
EPL is easily the second best league in the world; facts back that up. They've won the second most European trophies in the past 10 years and presently have all their four teams in the round of 16. I expect the Spurs, city and pool to smash the German teams. If he won it with Bayern - they already won before. Nothing special. As he did not win it, incompetent. Meanwhile, other managers have the same Messi. And they are not winning the UCL every year. |

PG13 is balling. Every other day it has been 40+ points and a win. He is definitely a top 3 player in the west this season and OKC have looked a different outfit but..season still dey shape. About 50 games to go and the closer we are to October the clearer the picture will be.
