This is one polling unit. He lost virtually all the other units in his constituency. In fact, the margin of defeat his sister inflicted on him is more than this. ![]() |
IKON360:Mention one season that Guardiola did not win anything in Barca. One season. |
ayoalani:I agree with the Messi part. As for the EV part, na lie abeg. We simply outtalented them. EV was outcoached in this game but Messi just came through. |
Debroslink:You are still doing the same thing. I never accused you of anything. Read my posts well. Please. |
Debroslink:Your response already shows your own agenda. I never at any point even said you bashed Coutinho. My argument is simple: if someone plays badly, castigate him. Don't excuse it if it is a player you fancy whilst panning another player you don't fancy and it was a blanket statement to all Barca fans on here. |
They will argue and tell us a penalty merchant is as good. Some will even say it is #PassToMessi. As if we stand a chance without him. |
Debroslink:Coutinho has been bad this season especially after his injury. Dembele was awful last season and the beginning of this season but he picked up later and was derailed by injuries. The summary is, people should stop playing favourites and setting agendas. |
Debroslink:If that was Coutinho now we won't hear word. |
Umtiti is playing rubbish. He is unsure of himself. Behind the pace of the game and shaky. |
10Dove:bROther Man, I am cringing here at what I am reading. ANAL-lysis. |
Roland17:Rockets choked well and good but baba make we talk true; they cheated Rockets in that game. I was just happy Harden got to experience what other teams experience against him. |
ashiola:Trust me, Sowore has proven he is no better than the politician he hounds. I thought he would be different but he pandered to lies and even deliberate misinformation to score cheap political points. It is a shame. |
Politics has made Sowore dumb. Chai. As if PMBs instructions don't affect his own party men. |
Valverde has to catch some of the flak for Suarez' form. When Pep went to City he was asked about Aguero and Suarez before the first leg of the group stage and he said "There are certain things Suarez does that I cannot put pressure on Aguero to do". He was indirectly saying, Suarez was better. Pep worked on Aguero and made him an all-rounder (even though Sergio was always a proven scorer) but down the line, Suarez has actually dipped. I think he is demotivated and something needs to be done. The series of missed chances off late are things to go by. Fortunately, we are very good at home so we should see this one out but we won't beat more formidable teams this way. For sure. |
When you people were calling Lyon easy fixture I was laughing. Anyways, we have never really been good away so a scoreless draw is not bad. They will chop it at Camp Nou. |
wman:He told you not to say "IF". So I let him be. I think you should too. |
stasius:Oshiomole is now Buhari? ![]() Who here does not know why some of Amosun's loyalists will boo Oshiomole? |
odizeey:Man City did not lose to Newcastle because of pressure. They were 4pts behind Liverpool at the time. The team at the top is the one who has pressure. You can't bottle a title from behind. And the reason there is much fuss about Liverpool is that now they have to win to maintain the 3pts gap. It adds pressure to winning because there is a direct consequence of not winning a game going forward. Does not mean they won't win the game BTW. |
BlueRayDick, keep doing the Lord's work. |
DExponential:Where did you put all those when you made your own prediction? The key game is the Everton FC game. It is away and Marco Silva is fighting for his job. City wins that and I actually see CFC conceding 5 at the Etihad. Maybe that fluke 2-0 has made people forget how many chances City threw away before Kante scored against the run of play. |
raumdeuter:Substitute Liverpool for City in the emboldened and we have an agreement. Winning has a lot to do with mentality and momentum but this Liverpool team lacks both especially the former. And even in terms of quality of peak performances, City have been better than Liverpool. Liverpool can have rests but do they have the psychology of champions? Conte won the league not just because of little distractions but because that team had won the league 1.5 seasons removed from his arrival. That is not the case with this Liverpool team. |
DExponential:3 things have to work in your favor: 1. City don't beat Everton FC 2. City miss all the numerous chances they will get against CFC 3. Kepa makes a performance better than the one De Gea did against Tottenham. |
airmark:I am not celebrating yet because I know it will go down to the wire. I am envisaging the 2011/12 City title run. |
Leyqute:He is referring to Chelsea... Edit: I see he has responded. |
BikeMan:Pep does not try a formation because it worked. He envisioned what Unai might plan against him and tried to counter it. When he faces another team, he will devise something else. Everyone knew Arsenal were going to attack City's left. Delph, Zinchenko and recently Danilo had somewhat bad games there. Mendy the main guy is still out so Pep sent Laporte there same way he used him there when City played Liverpool. It is the same reason Raheem played that wing. To help Laporte and to counter Arsenal's weakness on the right (a wing in which all the goals came BTW). The only reason Fernandinho seemed to be in the defence was to counter the 2 strikers Arsenal played when Laporte was giving City width. It is the reason Gundogan played as well to drop in and deputize for Fernandinho when he himself dropped back to protect the center. The verdict: it worked. Laca and Auba were neutered and City's goals came through that wing that Lichsteiner played in. |
Lavoca:Winning gives momentum and belief and those runs could motivate City. Second, City can lose a game and drop 3pts whereas Liverpool can draw 4, pick 4 points but furtively lose 8. They are not experienced and the pressure of gunning for the title will make them slip up. Moreover, you can almost certainly stake on those Liverpool games I mentioned as banana peels. But who here can beat their chest and say they saw City losing to Leicester, Palace and Newcastle after taking the lead? Nobody, because those are freak results. I am obviously, wearing my City hat whilst typing this but the only tricky tie left for City is away at OT. Liverpool have given them too many chances to be remotivated. Today, (or yesterday for some people) is another huge instance where that was the case. |
Lana1:14 games to go. Y'all should relax. This season will be like 2007/08 season. Liverpool won't lose games but they will draw games. I predict Chelsea, Tottenham at Anfield and Everton (because it is a derby). If United will do a job as well and draw at OT that will be helpful. Till then, not yet uhuru for Liverpool. |
"Messi is not a leader". He knew Coutinho was struggling before today so he gave him the penalty to take. He mesmerized Nou Camp with his dribbling and assists. He capped it off with a goal. "Coutinho should be sold". You come here regularly to highlight what he did wrong but nobody is here today to talk about how excellent he was (and he deserved a hat trick). This season is about doing well in the UCL. All criticisms should be about that and that alone. Be patient with your players when they are out of form and stop over hyping players who are yet to come to their own. |
Coutinho14:Iniesta is a eunuch. Busquets is a carry-along etc. Same people Pep is a fraud, he won because he had the best squad. Best players when it is Pep. As soon as he leaves the conversation they are not good anymore. Choristers will come and tell the choirmaster to keep conducting. Chelsea fans are lemmings. |
