Wrong political calculation. Regardless of Faleke's quality and pedigree, he remains an imported politician as all his past political activities took place in Lagos. Definitely, the locals will see him as not being one of them irrespective of his Ekirin Ade extraction. APC sure got this wrong. This is their error 2. Error 1 is giving Audu the ticket. If PDP wins again, definitely they owe it to APC errors. As for me, though I have been supporting APC, I now beg to differ, cos I hate autocrats, I hate Audu style and attitude .

You are spot on! Audu is never a better option, and this fact is widely known by most Kogites. He is autocratic, vengeful, bias and conceited. As much as I detest WADA's unsavory performance, I still prefer it to Audu's.

I have this inkling that Kogi election result will shock many. Undoubtedly, with the wave of Nigeria politics swinging towards 'change' couple with the abysmal performance of the current PDP government an average outside observer will expect Kogi to follow suit. But, we may have to wait further, because of the errors of APC handler in Kogi.
