Nairaland General › Nigeria Labour Cooperative Society's Poverty Alleviation Loan: Scam Or Real by Esperooke(op): 11:43am On May 15, 2016*. Modified: 9:27am On Jul 20, 2016 |
Recently the Nigeria Labour Cooperative Society, an organization purportedly registered under the law has been inviting the the public especially in kwara to apply for soft loan with an application form costing about #3,000 or more. Of interest here, is the simplicity of the entire process of application: after paying for, and fill ing the scanty application form, one or two questions will be asked, thus you are simply cleared for a loan of between #1,000,000 and #10,000,000 subject to your request. More so, no colateral was requested coupled with the crude Mode of repayment which they said would be defrayed by hand on monthly basis. Só far, thousands of people have applied based on the list of applicants displayed on the board in their Office at the Post Office Area, ILORIN. My suspicion aroused when I went in search of more information about the organization, and I came across the disclaimer issued by Nigeria Labour Congress about the said organization, and the housing scandal allegation published in daily trust in 2014. Fellow Nairalanders, please anyone with valuable information should please share as that could help a brother. |

frozenSun: and what is the needful ? a strike action ? occupynigeria?
what will that change ?
the government already knows the way Nigerians will behave. they know that there will be possible strike after which they will reduce the price to 120 per liter. then people will start saying LET US LEAVE THEM, AT LEAST THEY HAVE TRIED, PLEASE LET US GO BACK TO WORK COS I NEED SALARY, WHEN WILL THIS STRIKE END..?
take a look at all the strike actions since when PMS was still 11 naira. what did it change ? The most potent instrument to sway government decision in Nigeria is through strike. While I support deregulation, it's ill-timed. Even if all we can achieve is beating it down to 120 or 110 it's way better than 145. |

By the way, the same Hausa fulani massacre your people in Enugu and alas the 'you chest beaters, nairaland warriors lost all your voice in the least. |

Oga u b MUMU Squared
U should b asking urself what d 200bln will b used 4, isn't it clear u re being played
Or u re an intentional criminal.
Is it about d amount or what u re going to use it for? Seems you don't know what you are saying or you are blinded by sentiment. How many roads did GEJ rehabilitate? Did I hear you say 'almost all the federal roads'? I can sense you are one of these guys who spend all their lives in their local enclaves, and tend to believe every cock and bull stories they lay their hands on. |

Adminisher: This is bullshit and you know it. It is very funny. So people actually know the value of a good name yet they waste opportunities and destroy people's lives like this nonentity has done?. I cannot point to any single legacy this man achieved. Everything you point at, Obj started it or the high oil price created the bubble.
He left Nigeria far worse than he met it and if you are honest, this is the truth you should be telling your grandchildren.
Also be honest to tell them that you are only keeping his potrait because he was the first SS/ND/Ijaw president of Nigeria thanks to the vision of Obj and the providence of God but he never achieved anything for his region. During his reign and after, it was kidnapping, cultism, rape, prostitution thst was the lot of the Niger Delta. Youths were without employnent. The only refineries, fertiliser complexes and power plants were those planned and built by northern military heads of state and Obj. It was the vision of Yaradua that ended the militancy and that your hero was a woman wrapper who was presided over by five other presidents all women Spot on |

The point is, GEJ lack the will. Period. |

Politics › Re: Calabar-lagos Rail: Don’t Resign, PDP Tells Amaechi by Esperooke(m): 10:56pm On Apr 12, 2016 |
Now I understand why the North gets the better share in Nigeria largesse. Whenever it is the time to share 'bread', they bury whatever might be their differences, and fight for it on the table of brotherhood. But for the South-East and South South, the reverse is the case. And, when the chips are down, they resort into wailing, chanting marginalization. They never knew their worst enemy is, themselves. |
