40,000 pageviews per day / 400 clicks to make $100 everyday
4,000 pageviews per day / 40 clicks to make $10 everyday...

Now these are just estimates meaning it can take less and you CTR has to be at 1%......

This aged forum is facing a lot of problems lately, ranging from excess redirection, posting error, miserable anti-spam bots, overloaded page and much more.
One of them is the one you are facing, whereby the page won't load successfully in most cases without adding a random symbol at the end of the URL.
It was just a coincidence you met a web host advert, in other cases, you will meet other ads also.

I have been doing a check on that particular link from sometime.. and it always showed me an emoji (the green ones)... with the title of the page being "15x15"... But today its different..

Now, if you visit the website, you will notice that it is a web hosting business and we all know that Seun wanted to do such some years ago..

But, the reason why I truly think it is Seun is because I don't think he would allow such a banner to be at the frontpage of his forum if it does not cost a lot or belongs to him..

Aunty Linda, If I were to advertise you all I will say is that you should focus on improving your social media presence on Facebook and Twitter. Nairaland does not bring that much traffic to blogs compared to Facebook and Twitter.. I checked your Facebook page sometime ago and was shocked to see that it was below other sites like Yabaleftonline, gistreel, gossip mill, and even correct bro... Even Naijaloaded knows how important it is and if you check the "Advertise with us" link on their website, you will see where they brag about their social media prowress...

When you have up to 1 million likes on your facebook page and more than 100,000 followers on twitter, then you will be getting hundreds of thousands of visitors daily and millions of pageviews... That is how small bloggers like us use to survive..

Place an advert (a sponsored post) for just #10,000 and reach over 100,000 people

compared to other sites like nairaland and Facebook (which is the cheapest advertising platform)... It would take you about #80,000 to get to this much people, but you can get it at a lower price..
