It always ends with "we both had our issues" we are not enemies... |
Cool.. |
Honestly... the level of hunger in the country right now is just a ticking time-bomb.. I foresee massive insecurity and unemployment in a month or two if things are not put in place.. |
Yeah... minus 10 plus 1. |
It also strains visits and celebration attendance of loved ones, imagine the line of work affected that makes a single visit possible... the domino bitter effect of a drastic change in fuel price is unending. |

flokii:And this is cool to you?.. how about the employment? |
No one is ready to make you rich on twitter... you can move along, no one cares.. |
"Withdrawn supeona..."... |
I just hope the war does not take a religious undertone... because if it does, patriotism would be thrown out the doors... One former president once said "Bokoharam are our brothers, Christians want to wipe them out" - Buhari |
LegendHero:An apple does not fall too far from the tree... no one expected anything reasonable from you.. |
Not TAM again..
|
Hmmmm |
Just 35.... remove the limitations and expectations while moving the best you can.. Just keep moving and absolutely anything can turn one's life around.. |
I don’t know the kind of human beings people are. I sold all my property to campaign for Peter Obi. I know if it was Tinubu, I would not be suffering like this. He would have sent for me.Tales by moonlight.. |
Because they reduced themselves to zero... they are not worth anything if lost to any other party or aggrieved.. |
seunmsg:Don't we have refineries on ground already to build on if he is serious?.. Warriors Portharcourt Kaduna Edo.. |
4Play:Its not better to remove it without reasoning, it's better to deal with corruption, protect your borders and build modular refineries before removal... all these can be achieved in 6mths with proper monitoring on the refineries already on ground. |
Is this the renewed hope?... |
Why use his name as the topic?.. just curious |
Nigeria... if the benchmark was to get renowned technocrats with visible investment in the real sector, minimum employment of 10,000 (direct and in-direct), I dont think we would have more than 7 persons to pick from.. that way, we would encourage technocrats to push up employment figures, thereby increasing output and real investment.. alongside giving them a "cherry at the top" self actualization.. Anyways, we can still pick from Wike, Ganduje, Fayemi and Ngige.. they are the best in society.. |
FreeStuffsNG:Awesome, I like intellectual discuss... was it not the CBN database we used for the farmers growers whatever that got us no where?.. What I meant by interwoven database, is a database of not just farmers, but all other skills, Jobs and categories.. take the money out of the context and work with promisory notes. Rather than the farmer seeking fertilizers funds, he gets promisory note from the fertilizers manufacturer, who gets promisory notes from other chemical manufacturers manufacturers to make the fertilizers.. this would drastically curb corruption, increase employment, manufacturing etc.. the Govt only pays off the supposed profit 20% of the product the manufacturers were supposed to make in sales on a monthly basis. While the farmers are tasked for produce based on quantity supply. The grant stops if there is a default. |
What did the buhari's farmers whatever fetch? Until we build a true database that reflects the core society, all these are just looting overheads.. Now to build that database is almost impossible in Nigeria, so what the Government needs to do is building an interwoven/interdependent database.. |
What model sharia state in Nigeria can be emulated?..... |
When we warned that the Buhari administration was setting an irreversible precedence, they all claimed its who he can work with... well, we are here now. The North can't complain, which is why it seems like the SE/SS is the major opposition.. another bad precedence is being set, the SE and SS has stopped complaining about skewed positions, the North would soon stop, then its only a matter of time before an all out anarchy breaks out... respect equity, it was there for a reason.. |
There is nothing to expect.... with Tinubu's policies, It would take Nigeria a whole generation to be richer than its abysmal situation, which would be as a result of de-population from the unemployment bracket. which can come in various forms, e.g migration, death, school graduation extention, infant age enrollment etc. These policies only made Nigeria poorer than they can ever imagine.. it's not going away anytime soon, until the population adjusts with the cost of living alongside unemployment.. at today's standings, that disparity is getting wider with the less thought policies.. hope it won't get to a radical approach where we would have to pass the one child policy. just to avoid extreme insecurity or an epidemic due to poverty.. |
The Nation's productivity is grinding to a halt gradually... |
If Tinubu has it like he claimed, why not provide it.. it's that simple. Rather than the stress of hiring and blocking here and there.. its embarrassing.. |
Pressure on two presidential tribunal justices to resign, NGO raises alarm FIDA By Olasunkanmi Akoni A Non-Governmental Organisation, NGO, Face Of Waziri-Nigeria, FOWN, said strong indications have emerged of frantic effort to frustrate at least two of the Justices at Presidential Election Petition Tribunal, PEPT, to resign, in order to make mess of the judicial panel. The group’s Director General, comrade Bukky Adeniyi, stated this in a statement issued in Lagos, on Thursday. Adeniyi, maintained that “given the existing legal proviso which necessitates a replacement and retrieval in case the Justices resign and consequently translates to buying time beyond that stipulated by the Supreme Court is a ploy to make the case statute barred and of no effect.” FOWN, allegedly stated “there is surreptitious move by President BolaTinubu to make the Justices resign which is targeted at ensuring the time frame of 180 days elapses before the case is concluded by the panel.”¹ According to Adeniyi; “The Justice has not resigned at the moment but we have it on good authority that Mr. Tinubu and his team are seriously working hard to threaten and frustrate one or two of them to resign so that the panel will be bereft of jurisdiction at this stage. “This will lead to replacement and retrieval de novo. In which case, it will be statute barred once outside the 180 days stipulated by the constitution and attendant of which ends the matter, because Supreme Court cannot extend time. “At the moment Tinubu is pressuring the tribunal. He wants two judges to withdraw or resign from the panel. “A particular Governor formerly with the PDP but now in APC sequel Tinubu’s blessing from South-South is delegated to use document of money exchange between the government of that state and one or two of the justices in the past for judgement favour then, as a proof to harass and intimidate the justices to shift the judgement of the tribunal in their favour. The group however raised some poser on the matter: “How do you explain if at all such money exchange occurred in the past, to now want to use such to blackmail the Justice.? “Did the Justice or justices demands for money the governor gave then or was given as thank you? In whatever case, the tribunal matter is different from whatever transaction they had together in the past. “He faulted the recent move by the counsel to the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar to subpoena the institution on the need to ascertain authenticity of documents relating to his attendance at Chicago State University. “Abubakar had in a petition dated July 11, 2023, by and through his attorneys, requested the court to “issue subpoena commanding a corporate representative of Resident Chicago State University (Respondent) to appear for deposition upon oral examination of the topics set forth in Exhibit A attached hereto at the offices of Dechert LLP at 35 West Wacker Drive, Suite 3400, Chicago, Illinois 60601 on July 21, 2023 at 9.00am” The respondent is expected among other things to, “testify and give evidences and in support thereof states as follows: “That non-party Bola Ahmed Tinubu is currently the President of Nigeria and is facing various court proceedings concerning his election and the authenticity of documents relating to his attendance at Chicago State University; “That Mr. Tinubu had previously asserted that he attended various educational institutions located in the Chicago area, including but not limited to Chicago State University; “To test the truth and veracity of Mr. Tinubu’s assertions, Petitioner must depose a corporate representative of Respondent Chicago State University (Respondent) regarding educational record or lack thereof, from respondent,” among others. https://www.vanguardngr.com/2023/07/pressure-on-two-presidential-tribunal-justices-to-resign-ngo-raises-alarm/

I dont think there is anything like fake news with Nigerian politics.. the news only pre-empted the action. now the action would either be quashed and called fake news or delayed.. |
Tales by moonlight... did the marketers import theirs from the Moon?.. or they have a separate crude purchase price?, maybe they bought with shillings and not the dollar again.. The only solution is giving out licenses and checkmating modular refineries while waiting for Dangote to finally decide when to start. |
helinues:Wow.... please take this down, it makes you come off as below par. Supply has never been the problem, do you see scarcity?, The importers virtually buy at very marginal difference from each other, the depots sell at very marginal difference from each other aswell, the trucks lift to different locations at marginal differences too.. your exchange rate is the problem.. would more planes reduce the terrible flight fees now? |
