I have a friend in Kumasi who told me he had nailed nilesat before,he said it was years back with a 2.4M mesh.
I think we should all converge one day,probably one weekend and work on that nilesat thing but we have to get all sort of lnb(0.1db).One of us should coordinate and organize this nilesat conference,I nominate gadator as our senior president.

I have some issues on my heart that I will like to spill out, I know I will step on the toes of others, but all the same I have to speak out. First and foremost, I will start by commending the founding fathers of this great forum for their dedicated efforts, time, money and resources that has brought us this far.Oga moderator thanks for the good work done.
I have been following this thread since season 2, but I was a rookie by then, absolutely! Not that I have arrived but I can differenciate my left from my right, thanks to you all again. Just the beginning of this week I re-visited Part two and I was so amazed at the stock of knowledge deposited, great work, and congracts!
What I have observed lately is that the founding fathers of this forum think that they have established an empire among themselves, so if I need something, why not asks this fellow because I have his Contact and e-mail address, I was very happy when swordswifter told a colleague I don’t do this email, email stuff.Thats an epitome of maturity and unselfishness.Thats why we always complain that the thread has turned into something else, lets just think about it.
Secondly, when you visit other sat forums, they have sub threads, sticky threads, whatever. One of the thread s is the key section where they post keys but nairaland has got a childboard, we have different subthreads but not a key section, I suppose the key section is the G group and that belongs only to the men, I hope you all understand, those who seem to post more in this forum, I wondered why all the subthreads were not pasted in the G group. Maybe getting the keys is a privilege for your supposed hard work, huh….huh…huh God have mercy, Africa, lets learn from the whites, why are we so selfish, I don’t think any of us generate the keys or the softwares,maybe I stand to be corrected. Something that the white guys say we should enjoy; a black man will go for it and hide it from his fellow black man, Oh! That’s not fair.
Lastly, Lets stop the tribalism, nationalism, ethnocentrism and lets love one another, let’s be united, Africa unite! If a mate asks a question and you want to answer, do so diligently, and if you don’t want to answer leave it alone. Lets be patient and tolerate each other, God bless us all and long live FTA

you are even more funnier one can easily go to google and get those keys all one need is to go to google and type in, (1 music biss key eutelsat w3a @7west,or hi nolly biss key on eutelsat w3a @7west)on google search,then google will do the rest, since you stated that 1music have open key it is the same as posting key, it does not make any difference sat keys are every where on the net.it is just some people dont even know what is satellite keys and how to google them from the internet.cheers

@esuo2 you want to destroy your receiver.I have the same model of receiver with yours which went off after patching and never came back again.The front panel light does'nt show anymore it only displays black screen in the television.

Honestly,I do not agree with u guys at all,take it cool.Sometimes when you are climbing the ladder of knowledge,you should be tolerant and patient enough because you dont expert everybody to know what you already know.Take for instance,the first time you heard polarization,azimuth,lnb scew,even frequency,you were wondering what it was,some of us think we should leave the level of tracking,upgrading,new frequencies and the like,and talking about issues like card sharing,dongle,writing and generating CAS codes,yeh,its fine but somebody doesnt even know what azimuth is,to be frank,Ive met guys backstage who are very good yet very tolerant,no body has arrived,because satellite technology is really vast.
Talking about posting at various threads within the forum is sometimes discouraging because this is the only active place where we all meet,even the big forums,it takes weeks for you to be replied a post,if we close this forum,there are other interesting forums around,i read about 10 different forums a day,yeh

a friend brought a dead 4669x to me,I managed to bring it back to life through the strong loader using version 1.10p of the patch,the receiver works all right but after some time freezes and the picture stands still,and the LCD displays 0.I tried loading other versions but still the same problem.I then did a receiver to receiver transfer but the problem still persist.What is amiss and what is the way forward.

some of the rs232 cable are not internally connected. you have to do the connection by urself. cut the cable into two, with a multimeter identify the following pins 2,3,5 and the neutral wire which is not coated. Then connect pin2 to pin3 and pin3 to pin2. pin5 to pin5 and neutral to neutral.

From the diagram,the footprint of intelsat 802 only covers the eastern part of Africa ie the spot 1 beam which is out of reach of us here in west africa,

I'm able to nail Badr 5 with 90cm offset dish with signal quality about 65% but all channels $$$$$$$$

@all,The satellite where etv is found inst Badr but another bird found between w7 and Arabsat 5a.It is slightly an inch from w7.The best software to use is 1.09.Though I discourage upgrades,it is at owner's risk, DONT DO IT IF IT IS NOT NECESSARY,

IIish my brother,you are confusing us the more,pls give us the specific name of the satellite,and whether they are fta channels or feed.we will also appreciate it if you will give as the footprint since you are in Zambia

Sorry bro, my location is Zambia.Since we are bodering two portuguese contries of Angola and Mozambique, we are enjoying non stop action movies from these channels,
I must confess here that the Content is better than that for DSTV, TVC1, TVC2, TVC3, TVC MOVIES, ANMAX, FX, SONY, BET, MCM POP, NBA, ETC ARE GOOD CHANNELS, Am enjoying till they last.
