The area commander, Suleja Area Command of the Nigeria Police Force, Isa Rambo, has reportedly been kidnapped by gunmen around Kaduna.
He was said to be on his way to Jos when he was attacked and whisked away by the kidnappers, Vanguard reports.
Legit.ng a high ranking police source said the kidnappers had made contacts and were demanding a ransom of N50 million.
The source said: “He was kidnapped around Kaduna and was on his way to Jos along with his driver when they were attacked and whisked away. The kidnappers have made contact with us and are demanding a ransom of N50m.”
Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that the Government Technical Secondary School located at Maraban Kajuru community, Kajuru local government area of Kadun, was attacked by gunmen suspected to be kidnappers, who abducted the school’s principal.
The development comes on the heels of the abduction of six female students of Engraver’s College, Kakau Daji village in Chikun local government area of the state, by suspected kidnappers.
A source from the state government reportedly disclosed that over 20 gunmen stormed the premises of the technical school around 12 midnight on Thursday, October 10, and proceeded to shoot sporadically into the air to scare teachers and students.

Staff and students were said to have been awakened by the sound of gunfire and began running in various directions.
The gunmen subsequently took the school principal away from his residence to an unknown location.
