Some of the older black people in Nigeria today lived and experienced the nightmare of colonialism. Many of the older blacks in North America were born during the period period of segregation (before 1954) and they remember every detail of it. And you want to compare these people with whites whose ancestors might have been enslaved about 500 years ago? The people of Haiti, both adults and children, are in the worst human state today. These guys do not know what it's like living without having to worry about staying alive the next day. And you're telling them to keep quiet cause all races were enslaved at some point? Because of the English-French war in Canada (nothing compared to slavery), the slogan of the province of Québec today is "je me souviens" (which literally means "I remember" ). Go to China and see how they feel about the Japanese. And you're asking us to talk less about something as significant and extensive as slavery because, according to you, all races were enslaved at some point. Okay.

I just did the search, and Onitsha isn’t in the list according to Wikipedia, Forbes and other reputable sites. The sites that mention Onitsha being the dirtiest city in the world are 99.9% Nigerian. I don’t know who came up with that one statistical report in 2016 and Nigerians (seeing as we love attention) swallowed it up and almost 10 years later, we still parrot it everywhere. The amount of hard matter pollution in a city is directly proportional to the population of the city. How many people are Onitsha for it to be the dirtiest city in the world? Have you been to India? Let’s learn to be more discerning instead of always getting excited about being in the news.

In terms of liveability, some of these places you mentioned might be more liveable than Lagos. You should probably take a look at the factors that are considered (like crime, cost of living, traffic, air quality, sense of community, infrastructure utilization, climate, transportation, education, healthcare, etc). While Lagos is our leading city, it doesn’t necessarily win some of these categories, and it’s definitely far from being the most liveable city in Nigeria.

If you wait for a country to have it all before supporting others, nobody will help. The countries that give aids to others don’t give because they have it all, they do so because they can manage. Haiti is in a long time mess. A few days protest in Kenya pales in comparison. Besides, those officers sent to Haiti would’ve made little to no difference in Kenya.

I don’t know how this might impact your story, but there are animals where the females are providers like lions, animals where the males incubate the eggs like penguins, animals where the females lead the pack like elephants and hyenas, animals where the females are known to kill the males like praying mantis, animals where both partners take turns to incubate the eggs like - wait for it - pigeons!

1) The male pigeon chooses the “nest” site by laying a few items there himself, and the female approves it by eventually taking over the process. She arranges things the way she wants while the male fetches the items (this is the part you saw).
2) The males pigeon sometimes sits on the eggs so the female can go get some food. They take turns doing this.
3) Both parents will also take turns to feed the squabs when they’re hatched. Each one produces a semi liquid substance from their crops.
4) The couple will likely stick together for live with none ever cheating on the other.

So you see, male pigeons aren’t just providers, they are partners in every sense of the word. I sincerely hope some of these additional observations will further impact your outlook in life.

While Africa would likely not be a direct target, the secondary effects of a Russia/NATO nuclear war over there would be enormous. This is because Africa is a very dependent continent, so much so that anything that affects the big guns would invariably have devastating effects on the continent. Besides, when wars of that magnitude break out, smaller nations are forced to take sides. Would you welcome displaced NATO citizens or displaced BRIC citizens? Who would you allow use your resources? It’s almost impossible to stay on the fence at that point.

It’s worth mentioning that it is at such times that new world powers emerge and new allies are formed. This same Russia was in bed with the West during the war of the 6th coalition (a coalition of Austria, Prussia, Russia, the United Kingdom, Sweden, Spain and some German states that finally ended the French empire).

If it were ladies marrying all these older white people for green card, Nigerian guys would have been screaming "women!!!", "Nigerian girls will marry anything for money!!!", "fear that gender!!!", etc. Now that this trend is led by men, it's just hustling. No one is making it about gender.

I believe Putin is going from one country to another seeking military help because his resources are seriously depleted. What you see going on is one leader making offerings to other other leaders in exchange for military assistance. While it's not a bad move on his part, it also implies he's inheriting the enemies of these countries he's going into bed with. South Korea that wasn't directly involved in this doesn't have a choice than to join the fight.

The US understands the art of war. Many people think they might have a direct face-off with Russia, but the truth is, the United States has been fighting this war from a position of power. Russia is physically involved (depleting thier resources and risking the lives of thier people) while the US is focused on gradually weakening them. They recently gave Ukrain the authorization to use thier weapons on Russian land because they know Russia's arsenal has been depleted. If a face-off eventually happens, Russia will be no match for them. Putin knows this, and that is why you see him running around for assistance.

The fearful thing about this whole thing is that Putin wouldn't mind nuking the world when/if he feels defeated.

Of course, you should listen to your doctor if he's the one that told you to eliminate bread completely. Otherwise, I'd suggest you turn to whole wheat brown bread. It is made with the whole wheat (without removing the bran and the germ), similar to brown rice. This implies that a good percentage of it is just fiber. It will fill you up just as much as white bread but with more fiber, vitamins and minerals and less low quality carbohydrates white bread is known for. This is particularly good for you if you're worried about blood sugar or at the risk of type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular diseases or certain types of cancer. The taste and text are, however, different. White bread is sweeter, but you quickly get used to brown bread.

Now, talking about alternatives, highly processed foods should generally be taken with caution. So regardless of the one you choose as an alternative, you'd likely still end up where you started. What most of you fail to understand is this was done in the quest for peace of mind.

As individuals, we should prioritize peace of mind above everything else. This person in question did what would let him feel secure in his moral values. Otherwise, he'd feel like a fraud every time he opens his mouth to preach. Even when he prays, he'd feel like there's something stopping his prayers from reaching his good. Canceling his admission must be a huge relief, and his happiness/mental well being is what really matters here.

Many people have done things they regret and they can't change it, so they live with the burden for the rest of thier lives. This person found a way to change his, and he went for it. Those of you saying it is the devil manipulating him, are you suggesting God would've loved him to keep benefiting from his past sin while preaching his word? Most of you are probably not in any position to debate spirituality with the said individual. So instead of implying he's dumb or misled by the devil, just say what you would do in his position. That's a more gracious way to present your opinion.
