Pls I need ur candid and matured opinion on this problem. I have a girlfriend, whom I hv been dating for 3yrs, she claims to luv me and I do believe her. But d problem is that I know she cheats on me. Cos of d kind of calls she either picks or avoid when with me, d number of times her phone rings in an hour, and when she noticed I had become suspicious, she always silenced her phone when with me. Sometime ago I saw a pix of her wearing a head net and night singlet with a bare chest man on facebook etc etc. I tried ending d relationship but she begged and promised to change, that of which I can't tell cos she stays far from me and we get to see maybe once in 2 or 3 months.
Some days back, I got a call from her ex bestfriend, and she told me to warn and advice my girl, cos she went behind her and slept with her boyfriend, and that for somtime now she and my girl haven't been in good terms. The irony of this issue is that my girl has told me sometime ago that she and her besties are no more, but didn't give me any genuine reasons. I tried asking her about her friends yesterday and why they aren't friends no more, but she avoided that discussion for the 3 times I raised it.
Pls pals, she will coming to see me this weekend and I need your advice on what to do. Thank you all.

maclatunji: Lady, you have the wrong attitude. He is in a position of authority over you. He may be overbearing but your current attitude will not help your situation, it will only make it worse. Call him every 2 weeks and visit him with gifts and smiles once a month.

Your relationship will improve and you will have learnt to tolerate his excesses. It is all part of being a good wife to handle such issues maturely.

spicy v: Are you sure you do not have a comprehension problem? What exactly did I comment on? And how does it contradict anything I have typed here? I have my values, which are very consistent. I don't pretend to be anything because I owe no one nothing and as a true christian, I do as I see my father do! He never judges anyone and that is not to say he condones what is wrong! I also don't expect you to believe that I enjoy a relationship that is devoid θf cheating seeing that you lack the ability to do and live right probably because you were raised in a dysfunctional background. What I don't get is why YOU are being a hypocrite instead θf actually getting a life by fixing your warped mindset!

If you must know, I have a REAL, HEALTHY and BLISSFUL relationship with the love θf my life! Six years now and still counting! And the fact that we have NEVER dealt with issues like cheating does not make me haughty and look down on people who do not enjoy what we have! It makes me more sympathetic and realistic. Infact, I have discovered that it is people who often engage in such that are the first to condemn!
