wip, there are rumours that universities in TRNC are not legal please what do you have to say about this. have read the arguments from both sides and am not convinced. as an alumni of one of these universities, what are your experiences with certificates from university in TRNC.

thanks..
Lol, debunk such rumours. EMU for instance is ranked among top 5% schools of the world and holds affiliations with some schools worldwide. Warwick for example. Also, the best professors and lecturers from countries all over the world.

CultureRe: Why Do Some Nigerians Abroad Have Superiority Complex Over Those At Home? by Eureka123(f): 4:18pm On Apr 28, 2015
Lol, probably because of the mentality of some people back home. There are occasions when friends in Nigeria do things that make me want to scream my head off. Lol.

To the OP, we should all be tolerant towards each other. If Nigeria must grow to standards like other states of the world certain reforms should be undertaken.

From your example, the landlord has seen how effective the system worked in the UK, and wants to make things smooth-sailing in his own venture back at home. I do understand your point anyways.

Finally, some people abroad believe they have seen more of the diversity of life than people at home, but being abroad doesn't make one the master of all others though. We must learn tolerance.

PoliticsRe: Real Reason Buhari Barred AIT by Eureka123(f): 8:13am On Apr 28, 2015
One of my Facebook friend writes:

If you are among those who blocked and unfriended peope because they supported Jonathan or did not support Buhari then it is natural for you to excuse and support Buhari's ban on AIT from covering his activities.

If someone is not yet the President and he begins displaying vendetta and you are not worried about this then I have more to fear from you then the President-elect.

Anyone with this type of mentality is too immature for politics. Immaturity in politics does not stem from age or the number of years or information acquisition in politics. No! It is not.

Politics is a murky game of propaganda, lies, deceit, malicious gossip and so on. If you are someone who only supports one sided malicious gossip especially the one against your opponent but frowns at the one against your preferred candidate, then politics is not meant for you. You should rather take into the military instead.

All the shits and lies that the Fox news peddle against Obama, not once have this nonsense been head. Security safety wetin? Are you the first politician or President-elect that is being lied against by the media?

What about those of Sahara reporters, Premium Times, the nation and co against GEJ and the PDP? I'm sure they are not propagandas but investigative and professional journalism in you eyes, in so far you are an APC and Buhari fan. And of cause these media houses did not constitute a security threat to GEJ and his associates. But it is AIT that is a threat and security to your amala republic General, because AIT is now a terrorist organization abi?

Something dey do una head! If this is what politics has turned some of you into then you are way gone! I do not know if some of you are being sincere or just pretending to be blind?

Let me tell you folks a little history since history was banned by a once upon a time dictator from your school curriculum. I assume if the subject was compulsory as it used to be then, many of you would have understood what dictatorship is and what democracy is not. But the dictator banned it, it seems he knew the benefit and you are an evidence of that benefit.

Buhari Banned "King Cobra", a mere Campus Magazine in Far Away Ile-Ife (UNIFE) now Obafemi Awolowo University, and the his junta claimed that the Students are Planning to Overthrow his Government between 1983-1985.

You must be brushing yourself off and saying "that was different then", "it was Buhari's ghost". Perhaps to claim to ban AIT from covering his activities siting security concerns is a different thing from the former. I hear you clearly, you think very clearly and objectively and I am impressed. Keep it up!

The SUN newspapers during the administration of Obasanjo said all sorts of crazy stuffs about Obj, I do not recall when the sun was banned because of threat to Obj's safety. And one time the sun newspapers captured a photo of Obasanjo holding a copy of their newspaper, headlined "even the president can't help to have a taste of us". Oh I get it! AIT just began becoming an assassination organization after Buhari won the elections.

Mind you, in 2011, Dokpesi was the campaign man for IBB during the PDP primaries. Guess what? They did what every political media would do to their opponents on Jonathan. Perhaps Jonathan was not in a security threat and so there was no need to ban AIT from covering his affairs after he won.

The other time Femi Aribisala was crying that his article was not published by newspapers because the contain criticisms of the APC and the exposure of the election rigging mechanisms they implored in the just concluded elections and some of you began calling him a bad looser and an attention seeker. Perhaps it is when a party inspires riots and burns buildings and kills Youth corpers like in 2011, that how we will know a good looser, abi?

Na so e dey start small small. Person wey dey laugh when dog dey bite him enemy no dey sabi say wan day that sabi go bite him pikin, because to use him teeth don dey sweet am and person been dey applaud am. Ride on! Keep being objective.

My pal that's were u got it wrong. Women or better still educated women shouldn't just vote somone in because the person is of the same gender. I think leadership oppurtunities should be given based on: abilty, track- record, vision and responsibility. Not : gender, ethnicity, religeon or familiarity.

Hope you agree?
Words of wisdom, sir. Giving honor to whom honor is due. I hope one day, the gender of a credible female presidential candidate isn't used against her. God bless Nigeria.

You may not suffer from the associated problem with excessive television that I'm talking about. It may help you because I realised that you are a literature collector, you need more lines of stories to tell.

I'm taking this way because its affecting my family. What I wrote initially is a real life thing I'm working on not to affect my life.

Well I'm not sure you are married. When you are married and your hubby needs your attention and you cannot give him full attention because of telemundo and he doesn't care what goes in telemundo and there other babes outside that are ready to give him 24/7 care that you don't have and he doesn't want to go outside his marriage because of his love 4 God. Tell me what will be the end of that home if the wife does not change?

I think I've given you more literature story line to tell.
Abi? You have a point. I'm not even close to getting married. grin

Its matter of time, gradually you will understand where something that's in excess can land you.
Don't get it twisted, it's never a 24hr something. Just keeping track of your favorite soap from time to time. The good things about life are all part of what adds flavor to it. smiley
RomanceRe: Telemundo Is Affecting My Relationship;please Help by Eureka123(f): 2:41am On Apr 26, 2015
dollarlander:
Telemundo is for people with very low IQ and jobless. Very soon some house wife will loose their family over useless programs they watch on telemundo.

Many husbands are suffering from lack of relationship with their wives these days and the wives tend not to see what the hubbys are saying. Imaging coming home and usually discussing what happened in the day with your wife and gradually when talking to your wife she is not hearing you anymore because of telemundo. Gradually both will soon become strangers in the house its a matter of time.
This part doesn't hold water. I don't agree with it. For one, I enjoy telemundo because their actors and actresses have amazing acting talents. Secondly, for entertainment, yet I have just about a wonderful IQ. My academic records can attest to that. I believe it's stupid trying to copy the movie in one's daily life. Some of us watch it and that's that, no extra baggage. It's been over a year now since I watched any Mexican soap anyways. grin
