Hello Guys and Dolls ![]() I am torn here, first i agree to an extent, because i feel so much for people who come to the Uk and see it as a chance to make something of themselves. I am biased because i like to see my Bros and sisters from Naija make a go of their lives. However, it's breaking the law which i am not for, i believe you don't come to somebody's house and $hit on their doorstep or stick two fingers up at their laws , it rubs people off the wrong way, still i hope to see a system where people are allowed to come in without so much restrictions, but then again its a hard one cause the country they trying to obtain permenant residency from has to have these rules, on the number of people in it cause at the end of the day resources can go so far. I find those who marry for this reason ,meeting an unsuspecting girl or man and luring them to the altar under false pretenses is vile. Actually i will take the stance of a CAPITAL NO to this practice because, it is wrong lawfully and wrong if you are coming from a Christian angle(which i am) It makes a mockery of the institution of marriage I find those who come and after obtaining the card or residency do not contribute to the country, sucking govt resources dry, go about doing crime( fraud etc). I do want to see a Nigerian do good for themselves, we do ok from what i see , some other foreign nationals(name no names) in London for instance do nothing but sit on their backsides,go about robbing people and sit on handouts for years and years, all this after getting a the right to leave permanently Best thing is do things properly and lawfully, that way you not looking over your shoulder. |
@Diddy oh my , b.day hurry come, hope you throwing in something extra being a bday prezzie and all ![]() |
Ok this is where i stand and i am a christain and my view is in no way anti -religion. I am actually a practicing pentecostal. Now the PROSPERITY GOSPEL as taught by many churches is something one has to be very careful of, i personaly would not go to any church that uses this topic as a central theme or a means to draw people into their congregation. Why? because first of all, anyone preaching this day in day out and is constantly resounded in the ears of their congregation is ; 1. deviating form the teachings of christ, 2.Taking the focus away from GOd and making ''the 'self' central 3.Deceiving the people, i say this because i have heard some of these sermons and the presentation is such that it heightens emotions in the people, gets them to a 'high' as a result you see SUNDAYSUNDAY CHRISTAINITY. There is no substance , people are not taught the Bible principles. 4.Too much focus on prosperity(which is understood by the people as worldly goods) instead of the biblical prosperity of Love, compassion, Joy, Peace. I am not saying you can't be comfortable or rich as a christain but i see people using some churches as a quick fix and this is sad very sad. Church is not a Babalawo centre Anyone who says come to me and i will give you the key to prosperity(riches) without telling you that there are conditions for this is a LIAR. In the Bible it says , God blesses all who fear, love, and above all OBEY HIS COMMANDMENTS,COMMANDS will have anything they ask for. So taking out the bit where God says, for instant don't serve any other god except me,or love all like yourself, do not fornicate, no adultry, coveteousness, is preaching what people want to hear and compromising real teachings for the sake of building either a superchurch(with capacity of thousands every sunday) or for self- adulation. They read out bits of the bible where is says what they want you to hear and ,leave out the bits where God states the conditions or requirements, if someone gives you a verse in the bible, go check what the verses before and after say and get a full understanding to prevent being deceived. There is no such thing as Prosperity Gospel in the bible and anyone teaching it is a fraud. I love God,I beleive in Jesus , i try to live good(its a struggle), but i will not be deceived by such teachings. peace |
@Bluenubian Wow you got great smackers(lips) and very lovely eyes, by the way i am straight lol @Diddy I got to see the abs , comeon show, show show show show |
@whitelexi What terrifies you about marriage? do tell plsssssss ![]() |
Interesting ![]() I know some kids who are from the so called ''ideal family'' setup, two parents, financial stability, attend good schools ,yet still feel the need to join a gang, so its not always the parent's fault if their kids act out, some would say its a phase or youthful exuberance, whatever the case Lots of black kids are dying by the minute from gang related crimes, the so called turf wars, and sometimes unprovoked attack of members of the public as a sort of right of passage among some gangs. it really saddens me when i hear of all these young people, dying in the name of 'disrespect'. I was at a club recently, which is rare for me and unknown to my cousins and i there was trouble brewing from a handful of girls and guys. We heard shouting and a bottle had been smashed on someone's head. From what we later gathered there was a ''crew'' from Dulwich south london(crew is what they call theselves sometimes i gathered) and another crew from East london and according to the door supervisors(bouncers) all that transponded was a case of one of the girls threading on another's shoes and they decided to settle scores in the club and spilling onto the street. One of the guys was heard yelling to his fellow crew member, where the ''piece'' at that point my cousins and I decided to run for dear life and vowed not to go club anywhere in the South east area again. Don't know if his threat of a piece was followed through but surely someone had dug their own graves from that night, because i know their stupid pride would not let it go and sooner or later we'll hear of another young black kid dead again. Some areas in London, like Harlesden, stonebridge i have been told by a friend residing there don't even get help from the police any more when there is a gun or knife related crime until after the crime. I know the area and they have a police station in the middle of the gang hotspot ,yet apparently if you run into trouble there, you should pray to your maker because police let them kill themselves. sad isn't it? @Diddy what are you digging? ![]() @Eastcoast Do you have any knowledge of young Nigerians in such gangs in and around your area? I take it the Ms-13 is mainly hispanic? @Hot-angel I liked the last entry of your post, lol thats another way of looking at it, simply not worth it , how ironic eh! |
Lets see a picture please, and have you had it valued? Do you have a figure of it's worth? please give alittle more info, like the origin i.e place in mozambique, certificate to prove the dating? dimensions? properties? etc. I would like to see it . Thanks |
Grizzly Gets you thinking doesn't it? Thanks for this Grizzly, i try to make a conscious decision to make changes in the area of waste in my life and i am glad i saw this again, i will keep trying because like you say so many are not fortunate enough. I hope i am in a position to help needy people someday soon , as we all should as Africans. Not that there are no needy or suffering people globally, but it's good we stop this ME MENTALITY WE ALL HAVE, i am guilty of it too , Lets hope, pray and get Doing to bring change. Love you for this. |
Hello Guys and Dolls Gang culture in the society, is on the rise in the Uk and has been a major problem across the US, Latin america, Joburg .SA, seen at some levels in Nigerian Universities in the form of ''Cults or fraternities. For those of us in the Uk, we hear about gun and knife crime being on the rise, in major citioes and towns like ,London,Birmingham,Nottingham,Liverpool, Glasgow scotland has exeptionally high incidents of knife crimes involving gangs. What is your take? is gang culture now a major part of urban life? Are you in a gang, or ever been in one? Why do young people join gangs? Is music, dare i say Hiphop like said in the media a contributory factor in gang culture? Finally is it now cool or should i say glamorous to be a gang member? I don't believe its just a black thing by the way , though we can't overlook the number of black kids taking on gangs as a surrogate family network. Please air your views and lets keep it clean , respectful and truthful, keep it real and share your experiences please , all welcome, cheers!!!! ![]() |
Gosh it's sad to think of this, because we know what the dream is(money, house, cars, good lifestyle)very shallow but very much needed for people to have a good quality of life. So maybe I'll say it like this. my ideal Nigeria, it would be that "you can have a good and uninterrupted education, have a conducive enough economy to be able to get a good job or if you are free spirited,be able to gain help to start up a business to further add to the development of the nation , hence(good and vibrant social infrastructures). Finally be able to be what you want to be without unnecessary hindrances. |
AWWWW Olunifemi ![]() Bless your heart, you are giddy from love, you are all loved up ![]() GIST GIST quick quick |

i never liked polka dots on the frilly sunday dresses my mum forced me to wear, and i still don't like them. Large framed ladies should stay away from this trend, it looks nice on really petite girls is whaty i think. certainly not for me. |
:-x |
I have been told my lips, i know its my lips and my butt only recently i am getting comments about my butt being peachy. |
modelling is cool if you are blessed with the physique, i would have luved to be one, all those clothes, shoes, bags, accessories, oohh heaven. Its the ultimate career if you are a girlie girl into your beauty stuff, the hair, makeup, blisss, sheeer blisss ![]() sometimes people think you have to be beautiful to be a model, it helps if you are above 6 foot , great face and bod to go with it, but some models aren''t great lookers in person , they just blessed with good bod,and are photogenic. So yeah modelling is great , it's good to know people don't have the old fashioned belief that models are thick and just have looks. |
I buy my clothes at Oasis, monsoon ,topshop , mango and for work i go to next. |
edygirl:hehehe she be real mugu, anyway anyone who is stupid enough to play leading lady in a porn shoot with a boyfriend she only knew like for just weeks is a real mugu and will fall for any scam going , abeg it was worth a shot by ''the master'' lmao you know it diddy lol abi ooohhhh, |
Yes i trust my closest friends, two of them are my childhood friends and we care for each other like sisters, i love them alot. |
duh! you get my point i doubt that very much. You say u pointed it out because others spelt it as EUPHORIA lol hellooooo, knock knock anybody there? they did not take it upon themselves to correct the spelling like some deranged spelling bee champion. If they want to spell it that way i don't care, so long as i know it's me they rreferringto , its no biggie. you should see a doctor about that tick of yours to steady your nerves, because the last lines of your post look mad and looks to me like your typing or spelling ability is now being hampered. take a chill pill.

if you re-read my earlier post clearly and calmly, you might get my point even though I highly doubt it.Aww sorry you made no point for me to get luvie. @eurphoria 4play different, go read again or if you don't know what i am talking about i advice you to put a lid on it, cus you beginning to sound real dumb ![]() Oh by the way very lame surmising of my points which you obviously don't , at all yes my point was; no you can't start making assumptions about ppl people and their usernames unless you know them and you stupidly point out the obvious stating, it's the internet and there is noway of knowing that, helloooooo geez that is the point , that's why i said do not be presumptuous, duh you love anagrams, hope you checked the meaning in the dictionary luv, I don't think so, other wise you wouldn't have made dumb remarks about usernames. As for you not giving a toss about my username, so to speak, well luvie the feeling is oh so mutual The reason all this started in the first place was simply because I said you should not be rude to people just because they air their take on a particular thread, which had no effect on you what so ever, the person did not even address you personally and you immediately attacked like a silly little girl, now you direct all you juvenile bile towards me, which is truly laughable . Stop throwing your dummie out of your pram child and you will get respect and courtesy yourself. adieus to a friendship that never was. watch that tick of yours, try not to come back like a chiuwawa on crack , try prozac |
Hiya acidrop ![]() ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh One night, just one night with Terence Howard, or Josh holloway from 'lost' ooh lala la lol nah thinking about that though, its all fantasy we all love to be with the celeb of our fantasy, but if they were a player it would be a different ball game |
;d |
No i couldn't, for some it may work, depending on the length of the relationship and how strong the couple are, even that, i still feel it could be tricky and hard. |
Well retro How insightful, NOT, Did it occur to you that being a nickname''eurphoria'' rather than the exact way its spelt in the oxfords could be as a result of a play on words? do you think all nicknames here mean exactly what they appear to be literally? as a nick name you are afforded the luxury to play on words as you want, or mix letters up (ANAGRAMS) , only the bearer knows what their chosen nick reflects about them, it may be their experiences, could be anything at all. Bottom line i can call myself ''4play'' like one person has on the forum , well he alone knows why he has chosen to spell it in this way, plus it might not even mean the obvious. I think you get the point now, so next time you want to correct anyone's spelling, consider a few things, like i have mentioned above , the context, circumstance, personality etc. Instead of being presumptuous, it's truly unbecoming. Pls don't get all hetup ok, just thought i make it clearer thats all. peace |
@retro I hate to do this considering how you responded to my reply in another thread, but heck, do you have to be so rude to people?, can michy not express her views without your little jibes? she is only responding to the thread how she sees fit within her beliefs why start something from nothing, if you don't know what she is talkin about or you don't particularly like the comment move on geez, i have seen others say how rude you are, you need to get that in check girl. If she choses to live herlife according to bible principles then good for her, i would say thesame if a moslem made similar comment, Oh by the way, i expect a mouthful from you and i can not promise a reply from my end Peace |
lol hi IBB Now lets look at this, do you really think if 2face ran around in his white BYC grannie undies on the red carpet he would still be a star? hmmmm i love the picture in my head i am sure 2 face would not be too willing to commit career suicide by the above scenerio, although he came close with that getup in the pictures ![]() |
probably because our gals put too high expectations on the men? @4play hey hey hey calm don't dont give yourself a stroke, first of all , you sound lame, sad, and ugly urself , coming up with all these adjective too, how old are you? my 15 yr old cousin won't come out with lame and ignorant rants like that. fix up , quick quick before your arse gets left behind on. I hope you were not dropped on your head as a child and i hope you are not educated , cause you would be a disgrace to which ever establishment had the misfortune of having you. And God i hope he is not Nigerian and just doing this out of spite,, pls God ''eurphoria looks up to the heavenlies with a desparate plea and hope for the Nigerian man'' |
eh o! times like these i miss my grandmother, she would tell you a thing or two about fly and $hit, you punk , to think there are ppl with sever disabilites out there doing more with their lives, listen tobacco or st moritz, i cud introduce you to a bloke or two who can arrange a trip to thailand and you can go sell your a$$ to some $hit stabber. lazy a$$ mofo, you want to reap where you have not sown, hiss |
hmmmm what can i say? First of all its a good thing to see any Nigerian artiste put themselves out there on the scene internationally, i mean we see here how ordinary joe public have managed to get themselves shot on any red carpet event just for exposure so fair dos to 2face, although i am not a fan, i wish him well But hey! who dressed my bro 2face? the whole getup is so so so wrong complete fashion disaster, i have seen him looking spot on and this was not one of them. The hand and finger gestures should be left to hip and uber cool celebs. who ever is handling his pro is doing a good job because he does get about and thats how you get known , he just needs to brush up on his act, song choices and music productions and he'll be alrite because he does have something workable, ish ![]() |
Good luck to those who are is what i say, fair dos atleast young people especially in Nigeria are turning their hands at doing good for themselve because the government wont do it, so i dont knock no one who is modeling, whether fashion,couture,page3 Goodluck to ur sis Diddy |
Mine is a great asset i get alot of calls through mine due to the nature of my job. I dont get calls i dont get paid ![]() |

being a bday prezzie and all
