Buhari has no managerial knowhow to manage this country period.... if he knew how he wud have stopped or proffer solutions that wud stop bokoharm instead he was secret supporting them and even sighting an example of militant in nigerdelta.
He forgot that militant did nt burn or bomb anywhere, their activity was always in the creeks and most importantly these boys were fighting not just for their right but for the right of Niger delta... so buhari take holiday pls, we dnt need change, we need continuity

Well well well.... if I shud answer this question I wud be very harsh but I wud say it d way I understand it with out sentiment. All the blame falls to the lady IF SHE WAS NT RAPED cos its her body, u are suppose to know wen u are free and wen u are nt, suppose to know dat after unprotected sex u shud get an emergency pill. Menstrual pains are severe cramps that occur during a woman’s monthly period, also known as menstruation. The medical name is dysmenorrhea. In teens, menstrual cramps are almost always caused by too much of prostaglandins (hormone-like chemicals that are produced within the cells of the human body), not necessarily by the presence of a disease condition.

In older women however, the pain could be associated with condition such as uterine fibroid. In many cases the root cause of the pains are not clearly understood.

Generally, women that have higher levels of prostaglandin or those who are more sensitive to it, tend to have more painful periods.

There are two types of menstrual pain:

·        Primary dysmenorrhea: When the menstrual pains are not associated with any underlying disease, disorder or structural abnormality either inside or outside the womb (uterus). 

·        Secondary dysmenorrhea: When menstrual pains are linked to an underlying disease, disorder or structural abnormality either inside or outside the uterus.

Women at higher risk of experiencing menstrual pain include:

o   Smokers

o   Alcohol consumers: alcohol consumption during a woman’s period prolongs the menstruation

o   Overweight women

o   Those whose periods started before they were 11 years old

 

The 7 ways to handle menstrual pain include:

1. Analgesics (painkillers): The drugs in this group are very effective for treating menstrual pain and discomfort. This could include paracetamol, naproxen, ibuprofen and aspirin. They block the action of prostaglandin which is the main culprit in menstrual pain.

2. Contraceptives: oral contraceptives often bring relief to menstrual pain. They are said to suppress the synthesis of prostaglandins, and therefore limits the contraction of the uterus.

3. Exercise: Mild to moderate exercise helps reduce the level of discomfort and pain experienced by women with menstrual pain.

4. Relaxation techniques: different relaxing methods such as breathing exercises, massage and medication could help in relieving pain during menstruation.

5. Hot water bottle:  holding a hot water bottle against the abdomen may help in reducing discomfort.

6. Oral supplements: Omega-3 fatty acids, magnesium, vitamin E, and vitamin B1 (thiamine) supplements have been indicated as effective in treating menstrual pain.

7. Warm bath: Apart from helping the person relax, a warm bath may also provide some pain/discomfort relief.   

In addition to these seven things, avoiding foods that contains caffeine and salt would also be of help.

The Nigeria labour congress (NLC) will tomorrow get a new president after elections by its 44 affiliate unions slated for today. Barring any unforeseen circumstance, Ayuba Wabba, president of the medical and health workers union is favourite to clinch the position.

Sending chills down the spine of the NMA is also the fact that Alhaji Lawal Dutsina, a one time National president of the National association of Nigerian nurses and midwives (NANNM) is also favourite to clinch the position of the NLC Vice president. 

A medical Doctor who spoke anonymously to a Medicalworld Nigeria correspondent insisted that the "Doctors are not in any supremacy battle with members of JOHESU, rather it was only a group of mischievous individuals who were trying to blur the lines between job description and job responsibilities". We would not allow these disgruntled elements to abuse the office of the NLC Presidency.

You would recall that in July 2014, the Medical and Health Workers Union of Nigeria (MHWUN) led by Ayuba Wabba had dragged the NMA to an industrial court  challenging the status of the NMA as a trade union.

in a suit number NICN/IB/95/2014, filed at the Industrial Court sitting in Ibadan, the health workers prayed the court for declaration that the NMA” is not a trade union organization, its associates and allies are not trade organizations.

While all may seem calm at the moment, We must not forget that Members of the Joint health unions of Nigeria only suspended their over 11 weeks strike action. Tensions are rife with speculations over how the JOHESU leadership would take the fight to the NMA under the cover of the gigantic NLC. 


For now, it seems the tide may have turned against Medical Doctor as they prepare to engage JOHESU comprising over 15 unions and also a JOHESU Lead-NLC with 44 affiliate unions.

You would recall that the NLC was instrumental in forcing a new minimum wage of N18,000 for Nigerian workers and also forced the government to reduce the price of fuel from N147 to N97 in January 2012 when government attempted to remove oil subsidy. How this new JOHESU LEAD-NLC would force the governments hands in terms of circulars meant to be harvested, Only time would tell.

Also heard from a pastor of high repute that neither buhari nor jonathan wud rule Nigeria.
