What caught my attension Is the creative way u describe this aspirant like he was really comparable to Ben carson.. CORTICOSTERIOD CREAMS.
Long term use of corticosteriod creams have shown to do more harm than good to users because of their numerous side effect, which include - cushing syndrome, skin thinning (atrophy) & stretch mark.. easy bruising and tearing of skin, perioral dermatitis ( rash around the mouth),enlarged blood vessels, skin infection susceptibilty, disguising skin infection,delaying diagnosis of cancer if there is any,inflammatory skin reaction eg steriod acne, pustular psoriasis and steriod rosacea.
Corticosteriod cream are often indicated for treating atopic dermatities and psoriasis and on the pharmacological aspect, A research from Inserm pharmaceutical has shown that these creams bind to a mineralocorticosteriod receptor which are located in the eyes, epidermis of the skin,heart, kidney. They also postulate that spironolactone is an antagonist of mineralocorticosteriod
In conclusion- mineralocorticosteriod cream is indicated not to be used for more than 2 weeeks but if required to be used for more than 2 weeks, then an alternate dosing of spironolactone is required
