I share same opinion with you about a new face buy the political reality is that 2019 will be a northern affair, and the two biggest weights are Buhari and Atiku.. I have the opinion of men like the Emir of Kano( Sanusi), Ribadu , even the controversial El rufai running for the presidency in 2019 but all these are just dreams..

Always remember that Goodluck was a fresh face and look how he went. Let me also correct the impression that the SE or SS will not vote for Atiku, they will go for anything against Buhari and even half of the SW will follow suit... The level of nepotism exhibited by Buhari against the south does not have part 2, like I said earlier they will wait for their time to strike .

Who to support wud depend on the faces presented by the various political party. Don't forget we still have some part of 2017 and a whole 2018 to rediscover or for some politician to decide on wat dey want .. U talk abt a northern election but I don't see that happening .. I think a southerner wud take advantage of the loop hole created by buhari and the brick wall between buhari and the east .. Somebody must see the opening and utilise it. . remember ,u don't need the vote of everybody , u just need 2/3rd of the nation's vote

Peter Okoye can’t wait for Linda Ikeji and Don Jazzy to become a couple.

Yesterday, the P-Square star took to his Instagram to announce that he will be sponsoring the duo’s wedding were they ever to surprise fans like Banky W and Adesua Etomi did.

“@DONJAZZY and @officiallindaikeji in case that movie finally happens I, Mr P will sponsor the wedding. #loveisabeautifultin,” said the singer and dancer.

And this comes just days after Don Jazzy stirred major reactions on social media after hinting at possible engagement with the rich blogger.

In case you missed it, moments after Banky W and Adesua Etomi — who both starred as a couple in successful film Wedding Party — announced their engagement – Don Jazzy took to his social media to implore Linda Ikeji to star in a movie with him too.

And Ms Ikeji accepted the offer.

The duo were rumoured to be dating in 2014. They never debunked that story. And we guess it is why Peter Okoye doesn’t want to be taken unawares.

The World Bank has announced its plans to support the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission in the areas of facilities and capacity building to further strengthen the anti-graft war in the country.

A statement by the commission said the bank’s Director of Governance Global Practice, Dr. Ed Olowo-Okere, gave the indication when he visited the EFCC head office in Abuja.

The EFCC spokesman, Mr. Wilson Uwujaren, signed the statement in Abuja on Friday.

Uwujaren quoted Olowo-Okere promising that the assistance would be rendered under an operation of the World Bank called ‘Economic Governance Project.’

“It is supposed to be a follow-up project to the one approved by the World Bank in 2004.

“The Ministry of Finance has said that one of the agencies it would like us to work with and support under the project is EFCC”,Olowo-Okere said.

The World Bank director lauded the commission for the “tremendous feat’’ it had attained in the last 14 years of its establishment.

Responding, the EFCC acting Chairman, Ibrahim Magu, commended the bank for its assistance, saying it had contributed in no small measure to the successes recorded by the commission so far.

Giving a recap of the history of EFCC, he said, “When we started EFCC, there was no money.

“We borrowed money from Bureau of Public Enterprise (BPE) for effective take-off of our operations.When the international community saw the sincerity in us, they got convinced by our commitment towards prosecuting the anti-corruption war.

“We were able to arrest and put in cell those high profile criminals that nobody dared to touch before,” he said.
Magu further said the commission got a lot of attention from development partners, particularly the World Bank.

He also said that it was with the financial assistance from the World Bank that the EFCC Academy was constructed.

The EFCC boss said that the British and American governments were also of great support to the commission.

He, however, expressed concern over the delay usually experienced in the dispensation of corruption cases as well as the occasional conspiracy between criminals and law enforcement agents leading to perversion of justice.

He told his guests that EFCC needed training in money laundering which, he said remained a new concept that most judges and prosecutors needed to understand better.

Magu also informed the delegation of the low budgetary allocation to EFCC and expressed his desire to have the construction work on the commission’s permanent site completed, this year, for effective performance.

“The proposal made to the World Bank will go a long way in the completion of our permanent site as most of our offices are rented and scattered around town.

He said the development has exposed ‘’us to risk of confidentiality and coded surveillance by outsiders.’’

The EFCC boss listed other needs of the commission to include ICT infrastructure, upgrading of the forensic laboratory, surveillance tools and operational vehicles.

He commended President Muhammadu Buhari for making the fight against corruption a cardinal focus of his administration

I beg to differ, I don't think atiku is the right man for the job. He had his chance and he scuffed it ..I dnt like power rotating around the same Pple of ex power holders.let us have fresh politician with a little genuine interest for the nation .. But in conclusion , atiku cant win a normal election if voters vote are to be considered . I doubt if he wud get anything from south ,east and west . ...
